When complaining about Re: Coded's story

Featured Replies

I think the reason people complain about Re:coded's story is bc they want story progression and new worlds and it doesn't provide either so it's frustrating. The gameplay though makes up for that in my mind at least :P

Remember that this game was originally just a phone game.

hmm true but why not just make it for other phones :D

I love Coded for it's writing. That Castle Oblivion segment with Data Sora and Roxas is spectacular! ....Still hasn't played the game though...

Ah, Coded. Played Re:Coded and I thought the story was pretty neat, especially at the end of the game. I don't have any reason to complain about the game.

I didn't have any problems with it, other than I had to keep repeating some worlds over and over again to get the trophies

Fair point imo. Doesn't make it any better, but since we weren't supposed to get Coded in any form it's better than nothing.

Meh, I didn't hate it, but I didn't enjoy it, either. I see nothing to complain about though other than I just didn't find it entertaining.

Exactly what I say to everyone that hates it. I saw it in the cheapy DS game section at a store yesterday, it kinda saddened me to see it degraded to that section. Of course, there was a Zelda game there too, which is pretty crazy.

I blame Nomura. He knew what he was doing when he put Coded on Japanese phones.

I liked days better, but never found any particular reason to hate the game. It was a fun playthrough, and I even unlocked the ultima weapon. Beating that crazy dual wielding data Roxas was pretty epic.

I felt the story was enjoyable and pleasing but offered no plot development, as filler goes kh recoded is up with the best, i also liked the fact they reexplored the command deck but i think it should definetly be left for portable consoles :)

The stat matrix is very addictive and the mini games for the most part give a fine experience on their own, ollympus' turn based battle system got really repetitvie though.

over all the ds kh games offer excellent customisation and should be praised for that level of quality in a spin off/ filler.

None of portable games are filler.

BBS tells us about Xehanort, Terra, Aqua, Ven, the organizations somebodies and so much more.

Days tells us about Xion, Roxas' time in the organization and secret reports

Com tells us how Sora ended up in a pod in KH2 for one thing on top of it's entire plot

Re: Coded, the popular filler, isn't filler for a few reasons. It reveals that when a nobody and heartless are defeated the somebody returns, which explained Xehanorts return. It also revealed that Sora has to save Terra, Aqua, Ven, Axel, Roxas, Xion and Namine from suffering.

I haven't played kh 3d so i don't know if that gives it more releavance but although kh days had a fantastic story you can understand everything you need too about the series without playing it, it does however deepen the plot by telling us about what went on when sora was "asleep" depending on what way you look at it this could be filler or mainstream.

kh recoded gave no plot development and granted it did reveal the idea of defeating the heartless before the nobody resurrects the person, this had been revealed in the additional secret ansem report that came with kh2 fm and in several interviews, its useful for those who don't have these sources, so once again its a matter of opininon, filler, or mainstream ;)

i also only said the ds games have the potential to be filler i didn't mention the others.

I appreciate your opinion and understand its relevance : )

Actually, I like this one ^^ The music was great (Pretty Pretty Abilities xD), the plot was fine with me, and the gameplay  was awesome....fighting in different datascapes, level bosses, and Roxas were fun :D
