Some kind of Strix... I'd say Spotted Owl since the Barred ones are usually more gray.

Another Strix. It's hard to tell between Barred and Spotted but I'd say the latter.

They are the same owl. And the correct answer was a guardian owl warrior named Soren from one of my favorite movies. (:
