You mean the fat adorable Luma in Galaxy 2?? I can't see him fighting without Rosalina

 

Also,the reason Rosalina is popular is,unlike Princess Peach,she has an actual character and she's in charge of AN ENTIRE RACE OF LUMAs and she's doing her job pretty well unlike Peach who always...ALWAYS get captured by Bowser except in 3D World and Mario Bros 2

 

Also,I'd like to think that Rosalina's appearances might be a hint to Mario Galaxy 3

Either way she looks like the replacement for Ice climbers, i think i might like playing as her.

I see this as more like "Hey, we figured out two characters in one, so we might be able to get Ice Climbers in." Just me being hopeful.

Don't forget about Super Princess Peach. She that was the one time she had her own game and was MC.

I've played Super Princess Peach....it's actually a good game but I hate the backtracking at the end where you need to get all the Toads in order to progress through Bowser's Castle.

 

Speaking of which,Daisy should've been playable in that game

Also, though I was blown away by the Rosalina trailer, huge disappointment that Kirby wasn't in Mario Kart 8.

Looks like these two guys got their hopes up for Kirby in Mario Kart 8 and a new Kirby Air Ride as well.

We were kinda lacking in 3DS Rosalina pictures, sooo... Yeah.

Seems to me, Rosalina will be fully encouraged to be used on the gamepad. The cursor that you use for protection and pulling in items, may require touchscreen use.

I really hope Sakurai doesn't implement gamepad touch stuff when fighting, because that would be a mess. I doubt it will happen since we can't use more than 1 gamepad. Sure 3D World has 4 players with the gamepad having extra features when touching, but it's not necessary; it just makes the game easier and more fun. While with SSB, it's a whole different story.

May seem unfair, but Rosalina looks like she'll have more possible moves than others, so something's gotta work with it.

I'm pretty sure he knows what he did wrong in Brawl with a certain character or two.When I mean no, I mean no gamepad advantage. Anything else is fine. I dunno how she'll work exactly. Rosalina just seems to have an abundance of moves is all.

Finally. I'm slightly disappointed it isn't Skyward Sword Zelda, but oh well. Anyone else notice that Shiek wasn't shown? I hope this means they're separate characters. I also saw one screenshot (can't put it on here since I'm on mobile) that showed her controlling a Phantom. New attack?

By the way, I feel pretty much the same about Zelda being confirmed as everyone else here. I'm glad she was confirmed, but I wish it was in her skyward sword version. Oh well, hopefully there will be skins in the game.

Villager isn't suited for fighting either. I just prefer the SS design.

Yeah I've noticed that screenshot as well. This could be some kind of reference to Spirit Tracks. Maybe we'll see toon Zelda in the game as well?

So far it seems that her moveset's been tweaked officially.

Many Smash competitors aren't suited for fighting.  It's also not required that she can transform into Shiek. Zelda's movesets and appearances as well as any other characters, are not canon to their series, so it wouldn't hurt for her to be SS Zelda. Either way, it's just a small disappointment and nothing any of us will complain about.
