Ok now that Zelda's been shown off, where the heck ARE LUCAS AND NESS!?!?!?! Seriously, i mean come on, they've shown pretty much every nintendo franchise with characters from them for Smash Bros EXCEPT FOR EARTHBOUND. COME OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON SAKURAI, JUST SHOW THEM ALREADY!!!!!

So far it seems that her moveset's been tweaked officially.

 

Someone had to.

 

Many Smash competitors aren't suited for fighting.  It's also not required that she can transform into Shiek. Zelda's movesets and appearances as well as any other characters, are not canon to their series, so it wouldn't hurt for her to be SS Zelda. Either way, it's just a small disappointment and nothing any of us will complain about.

Alright then, if you say so, ill calm down. Im just sick of all this waiting, when every other franchise in smash bros(except ice climbers) has had a playable character shown by this point, and no characters have been shown from earthbound yet. I have no idea what sakurai's waiting for, but im just tired of all this waiting. -__-

So please don't overact because it won't fasten the process of revealing by any bit.

I never liked much about TP, including the art style. I'd rather kick ass as a cutsie Zelda. Oh well. ^^"

The 3DS version of Smash bros. 4 is getting Mario Kart 7 Rainbow Road as a fighting arena.

Anyway, yeah. TP was good,  but it's probably my least favorite in the series. Zelda's usually got a brighter art style to it anyway, TP probably strayed the furthest from that. Well, on the bright side, the SS design could be some sort of alternate costume or something. Even if it isn't, I bet someone's going to mod it in anyways.

They mod it, I'll be working my way to it. I loved Brawl hacks, but never got anything to load up correctly so I couldn't use them.

I'd want to get it, I just hope that they don't make it Homebrew or something like that. I'd rather have it like Project M where you download it to the SD card and put it in, simple as that.

My main issue with it is just that I don't like using that kind of software.

Well, I mean, you have to make sure all the files are on the SD card, everything runs right, Hombrew reads smash, and so on. Project M: Download it, pop it in, good to go. Seeing how they made Roy and Mewtwo available, there should be a possible way to work in Toon Zelda. But I'm not sure that a model was ever made. If not, I'm sure, the super hard workers for Project M aren't even close to finished and could probably work off of the Toon Link model to make her. You have no clue how bad I wanna play as Toon Zelda.

I won't deny that they worked hard as I liked Project M

 

But adding Mewtwo back was much easier compared to changing Roy's moveset that was identical to Marth's and the other changes to the other characters

 

 

 

Super Smash Bros. director Masohiro Sakurai has confirmed on Miiverse that trophies will make a return for both the Wii U and 3DS game. The latest screenshot shows Saria from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as one of the trophies for Super Smash Bros. on 3DS. In his post on Miiverse, Sakurai explains that trophies will be version exclusive, with handheld games and characters featured on the 3DS version and vice versa with Wii U. Here’s what he said on Miiverse:

 

“There will be trophies in the 3DS and Wii U games, and each version will boast different types and models. The 3DS trophies will be mainly from handhelds and the Wii U version will feature trophies from the home-console games.”
