Rumors Time:There is a voice actor whos says that Raiden from MGS 2 and Metal Gear Rising will replace Solid Snake in Smash 4

 

I'm not sure about this rumor,cuz honestly including either Solid Snake or Big Boss would be a much better decision especially since Solid Snake might make an appearance in the Phantom Pain since it occurs before the MSX metal gear games

I think so. I'm not too sure though. Butvthese are the official times for the Nintendo Direct.

Sweet! I wonder of the release date will be announced at this direct since it's dedicated to SSB4. Maybe not, but I'm certain we'll see tons of gameplay.

Honestly, I seriously doubt there will be any Metal Gear characters in the new Smash Bros games. Sakurai said that he only wants third party characters that will work well with the other characters, and let's be honest, Snake felt rather out of place among the other characters in Brawl.

Exactly how I feel right here. Character announcements would be a plus, but I'm really going for a release date and new features/game modes with this Direct.

I think you've heard that Kojima during one of his streams asked Sakurai if he can add Snake back....so it's still possible and probably an easy decision considering that the moveset is already there

If that was the case, why would she be in AN ANIMAL CROSSING STAGE OF ALL PLACES? MB would be on a Metroid Stage if she was a hazard.

Wait wasn't MB on the pyrosphere stage? The regular metroid was on the animal crossing stage.

 

But yeah she is an assist trophy, just super huge

The different kinds of boxes in Smash. Wonder why Sakurai chose this to include his reminder for the Smash Direct this evening/afternoon (depending on your location).

 

Actually, someone believes this is hinting at a Snake announcement today, but that just seems like some over speculation to me.
