But yeah, itoi said he'd be fine with letting "the players" make a Mother game of their own. The real thing we have to worry about is if Nintendo themselves says anything, but they havent by now, so hopefully itll be smooth sailing once its released in December.

 

Smash Flash is pretty fun i think. I practice and hone my Smash bros. skills on there sometimes since i dont have a Wii.

 

But, here's hoping Lucas and Mewtwo come back!

Well guys, the 3DS version is inching ever closer, and am I so ever excited to get it!  Greninja, Little Mac, Meta Knight, Lucario and Mega Man, here I come!

Apparently the Character Roster screen has been leaked. This only a rumor, but it has been removed from 4chan (a site well known for it's legitimate leaks and trolls alike). Due to it being removed, it's hard to gain any credibility or anything against it.  The one curious thing about it is that this possibly leaked screen stretches to a wide roster of 54.

The thing about leaks like this is that the slanted screens look illegitimate. However, this look more believable than previous screen leaks.

Well if it is indeed 54 I guess Nintendo is giving this game everything to help sell the Wii U.

I'm just going to point out that this only has the characters we've seen so far... You'd think a leak would have more, if not all of the characters. : Just seems a bit odd to me.

It's more believable, but I'm still not 100% sure that I buy it. I mean, it looks cool and all, but still. It feels a little strange.

To be fair, i'd find it more believable if it had Ike in it. Also, i agree with axel, if it had unshown chars. i'd find it more believable. However, maybe the person who took the pics(if they are legit.) were only allowed to show them if they didn't spoil any new characters.

 

That said, notice how Zero Suit Samus isn't in there? She'd be near normal Samus, given the roster usually puts characters in the same series near each other. You'd think the announced characters would all be starters for the most part, and anyone not said would be secret/unlockable. And the pictures are a bit inconsistent(if you go on the link you'll see all 4). In one of them, the slot to sonic's right is locked, but in the one after that Mega Man's unlocked. I dont think they wouldve gotten the chance to take pictures after unlocking a few characters.

50 is still a lot of characters regardless

Most legit leaks happen on 4chan and/or reddit. Dunno how untrustworthy sites do it, but they do.

Speaking of which,their only legit leak regarding Smash was back before Brawl's release,where if I remember correctly they leaked the entire roster and people assumed it's fake

Smash wise. They've leaked a lot more in other titles (most were legitimate), though I probably dunno many of them since I barely pay attention to leaks. I just go with what the articles I get the leaks from say.

I'm gonna put a little hope in on it being true, but only time will tell. If not 50, I got a feeling we'll be really close.

That means that these screenshots are of at least two versions of the character selection screen. But why would the person that leaked these images bother to take them from tow different versions of the same menu, especially when the pictures look so similar?

 

Now, I understand that all three of these points could have legitimate explanations, but the odds of that happening seem pretty slim to me. I wouldn't mind if I'm wrong, since I like this selection menu, and would love for there to be 50 characters, but I'm pretty sure this is all fake.

Why are there even locked characters shown on the menu in the first place? If it's anything like the other Smash games, character slots are only added once they're unlocked. I wouldn't mind if they do it this way, but I doubt they will.

Oh yeah, and now that I really think about it, I'm pretty sure the first Smash game does too. I'll just take that off my list of reasons.

Well, i think its totally possible for the full roster to be 50. Why? Think about it. Sakurai's made it obvious that he doesn't want to cut out any characters from Brawl, so, i think its safe to assume for now that all of the brawl roster will make it into Smash 4. If that's the case, then that means at least 38 characters, Minus Squirtle and Ivysaur(since they were part of Pokemon Trainer) and counting Zero Suit Samus and Zelda/Sheik as seperate, 40 if you count Ivysaur and Squirtle. If you count the 6 newcomers so far, thats 44/46 characters in total. Its not THAT much of a stretch that Smash 4 could have 50+ chars. honestly. I wouldn't be surprised if we had 60 to be honest. :

I said nothing about whether or not I think there will be a roster as large as 50. Frankly, I think it's possible that the roster will be that large, although I wouldn't be too surprised if it's not.

It kinda sucks, but I'm starting to grow less excited for Smash as more information comes out for Hyrule Warriors. I'm extremely curious as to what character reveals will be at E3.

You gotta understand that there are times where Sakurai can't just give all important news at once for the sake of hyping and marketing,if he revealed everything now,then what's there to show for Smash at E3 if he just spoiled everything at the site and MiiVerse?

 

I'm currently practicing in Brawl,speaking of which someone tell me how Meta Knight is broken?Is it because he can chain a lot of combos?
