I just can't stand this anymore and I have to set here and say all of what's in my heart about it.

 

I swear to God the more I browse the internet for gaming news,the more I desire to quit gaming and focus on a much more entertaining friendly media(a.k.a Anime)

 

I swear you can't go to one site,not even a one single site,without seeing endless battles between Sony and Microsoft fans,or self-proclaimed hardcore gamers bashing Nintendo fans.Console wartards are just everywhere just to make your gaming experience a nightmare and further push you away from sharing your experience on the internet.When I just post a simple reply on a site like IGN or gamespot like:I can't wait for Smash Bros...some assholes came around saying:f.uck you for liking a Wii U,you are not a gamer you should get this console and you should get that console....etc

 

I don't mind disscussing the competition in the industry from time to time,but turning it into freaking World War 3 affair just because I like certain things??? HELL NO,HELL F.UCKING NO

 

Does bashing others for their different taste adds to your experience ??? Does mocking fans of competitor's console make your games more fun to play????

 

At least in the Anime industry, you can get away with liking Animes that some people don't like,I never got BLASTED by Gundam fans for liking Gundam Seed,the only anime wars I'm seeing are just between the big three fans:Naruto,one piece and Bleach.

 

 

I never cared about console war or console wartards and the only time I ever cared about it is when I want to see how some companies I love are doing and that's IT.

 

Gaming should be a fun hobby that you can enjoy with friends.Not an obligation to torture yourself and look like a jackass on the internet just so you can say:LOOK AT ME I'M HARDCORE GAMER,THIS IS THE REAL HARDCORE CONSOLE AND YOUR CONSOLE SUCK IN COMPARISON DERPI DERPI DERPI DO.

For me I find the worse is "PC master race" people.  A PC is not a home console.  I honestly find it so irritating when they're commenting on the 8th generation consoles saying "who cares PC".  That's like comparing an apple to several brands of toothpaste (Aquafresh, Colgate, Oral B).  They both clean your damn teeth but they're not the same.

^I don't know why that's my favourite analogy for it.

 

People like to fight just.  People don't even care about their console.  They just want people to know it's better than theirs.  

 

If money was no issue I would buy them all (well not the Xbone, but I'd get the 360), the problem is a number of people can only afford one/their parents only buy them one and they want to make sure people know they're superior.  

But that's why we ignore them and eat cake.

Well they are idiots... To me, the Wii along with the Wii U is a new age of Nintendo console. It brings out the childhood. Its for every type of age: Kids, teens, and adults. So those "hardcore fans" need to be quiet and get off their high horse...

I love PS4 to death and I'll get one once FFXV is released,but the console war thing is just stupid.

 

Have you ever heard of studio wars in the Anime industry??? Did fans of Bandai went out of their way to kill fans of Ghibli Studios???

 

If the term "gamer" means I have to be an asshole to everyone who have a competing console and just kill their love for video games,then I don't want to be a gamer anymore
