Hot off the presses, we have the newest DragonBall game in development: DragonBall Z: Battle Of Z.

 

Here's our first piece of information:

 

"Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is team fighting action title that lets up to eight players battle it out against one another. Alternatively, you can have up to four players in cooperative play. The game lets players perform attacks together and heal one another, and will allow for online multiplayer battles.

 

Confirmed characters so far Goku (Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan God), Vegeta, Raditz, Nappa, Krillin, Tien, Piccolo, Kid Gohan, Ginyu, Jeice, Burter, Recoome, Guldo and Saibaman."

 

Now, to me, this game seems similar to a another DB game called Zenkai Battle Royal, which is a Japan only arcade game in which players control four fighters in a match and battle Ninja Storm style. However, I'm sure it's gots it own tricks up its sleeve, and after all, we only have this little bit of information to even speculate on. I'm sure a trailer will come out soon to give us a broader look at the game.

 

So, KH13-ers and DragonBall fans alike, what are your thoughts? Are you excited to know another DragonBall game is coming out? Are you even more excited that this game will feature Super Saiyan God? Like me?

Eight players in one battle? Heck yes! Also, I get the idea that any online play would be a race to see who gets to play as SSJG.

Honestly I wish it was something more along the lines of Burst Limit or Budokai, but hopefully this turns out good

Dang it. I'm already broke, then this, KHIII, AND a frickin reprint of the Blue Eyes White Dragon. And I think this looks great. It looks like the models will be really cell-shaded style, almost like the anime, and a SSJ God transformation would be awesome. But what worries me: how is the up to 8 players going to work? It sounds interesting in theory, but knowing the history of the DBZ games, the controls could be messed up or worse. But other than that, this looks awesome.

I hope this new game is also as good as tenkaichi games on PS2. I am surprised it's coming to PS Vita and I am thinking that I will get this game on it rather than PS3.

Honestly I think this game could be allright, and a must for major fans. You make think the gameplay looks crappy but I am pretty sure that is just because the person playing is shit.
