Before anyone decides to bash on me because they think Vanitas is dead, move on with your lifes, yada yada yada, READ the whole thing before posting, otherwise don't bother posting so no fights or arugments break out.

 

Something tells me that Vanitas will appear in the games. Who knows how, but something just tells. I mean, yes he's badass, but that's not why.

 

Now I realize this while playing the KH series...Nomura never kills any characters off, or at least not easily, even new ones. They are reappear in any way. I'll give you an example of it.

 

Characters can usually reapear, and can reapear in any shape or form, and I'm not talking about memories or flashbacks. For example, Lea chronologically appears in Birth By Sleep, eleven years before KH2, and then in KH2, he chronologically reappears as Axel, making this point proven. It also goes with Xehanort. Master Xehanort (BBS), then "Ansem" AKA Xehanort's Heartless (KHI), and finally Xemnas (KHII). Other examples are the Disney villains, Ventus, etc. Not only that, we all thought Xion was killed off, but she wasn't, which proves it. They are never killed off. Only reappeared.

 

It should apply to Vanitas, especially since he only made one appearence. Either he needs to reappear or have a successor.

 

Not only that, it feels weird that he was destroyed. Yeah he faded out of exisitance and bring back balance to Ventus' heart when he destroys him, but it is that it of him? I think it's possible to be reborn, whether it's from Sora or even Ventus' heart again. I like to think that possibility.

 

But I leave this question for you to decide. Is Vanitas coming back anytime soon, or is he the first character (plus an orginal character created by Nomura) to leave the series?

I agree with u, something tells me that Vanitas will return in one of the KH games. I think the best chance of him reappearing is in KH3. I predict Master Xehanort will return as well in KH3. I hope that they both come back because that will be awesome, fighting Vanitas and Master Xehanort with Sora and Riku and Kairi. I hope that Terra Aqua and Ven will return as well. That will be awesome

look did you see the trailer of kh bbs a think its name is friend and heart... look in the first scene you see ventus with the kingdomkey and riku soul eater i dunno i think theres might be a conection with the soul eater and vanitas .... i think that when vanitas was defeated he took the form of the soul eater and when riku got it he got his armor but in heartless form sorry if you think this is right but its just a thought

remember Vanitas's Sentiment, the secret boss of BBS? The secret bosses in KH have all had a role in a future game. Xemnas in KH1, the Lingering Sentiment in KH2, so maybe Vanitas's Sentiment will be in another game.

In a sense Vanitas is Sora. Cause Sora had connected with Ventus and then after Ventus's heart was unlocked. It unlocked part of Sora's heart?

 

Also "Vanitas's metaphysical battle with Ventus came to an end after they shattered the pillar, with Vanitas fading out of existence, taking all Unversed in existence with him and relinquishing his control over Ventus."

Also I don't understand how, the Neoshadow came to BBS. Cause okay so Ventus's heart was unlocked created Vanitas which is pure darkness. But Vanitas created the Unversed. And in a part of BBS when Ventus is being trained by Master Xehanort. Guess who Ventus is fighting? Oh the Neoshadow which makes no sense cause weren't the Heartless pretty much created/discovered by Xehanort? Oh wait =/

 

Then if thats true. And Xehanort is also Master Xehanort then Master Xehanort when creating Vanitas must of known how to create Heartless? And then when Master Xehanort became one with Terra. He forgot? Or didn't know as much. And Ansem The Wise taught him.

The heartless have always existed since darkness was discovered in the heart. Which was before the BBS times, it could be even before the Keyblade Wars. Only pureblood heartless existed at that time though, Xehanort's Heartless discovered the Emblem Heartless. I think Vanitas might be coming back, if Ventus or someone unlocked the evil in his heart again for Vanitas. Like they're in a major battle or something and they needed someone else to help them, so Ventus thinks that he needs Vanitas and the Unversed to help so he unlocks his darkness from his heart again. Or something, idk.

Nomura did say that no one REALLY dies in The World of Kingdom Hearts. I i agreed with you guys, Vanitas can always come back as long as there are people to extract the darkness in Ventus heart.

 

But Ven learned to accept the darkness, and it became a part of his power. So there is a chance that Vanitas may not come back..... confusing....

The thing I find funny is they just released BBS like a few months ago. And the North American one is still on its way. But they keep going with these secrets and roll out more. In the start it was questions about who is the Lingering Sentiment from KH2 FM.

Xehanort isn't dead.

He's in Riku, remember?

 

That's not true. It's unknown if Xehanort's Heartless is still in Riku, when the Kingdom Hearts Encoder exploded. I doubt he's still alive, and even if he is, it still doesn't matter, considering once KHIII gets here, Master Xehanort will take his new role.

Yet no relationship. They are not connected in any way. Seriously, you can have similar suit as someone else but it doesn't mean they are connected to them.

 

The suits would probably happen because of Xehanort, but wielding a Keyblade similar to someone definitly does not make someone connected.

 

Knowing Nomura, he probably recycled Riku and made him a completely new character, when it comes to appearences, weapons, powers, etc.. He recycles a lot of characters, so it would make sense.

Dude if you saw it from my point of view, you would think the same way. Don't you just find it IRONIC that Xehanort's Heartless posses Riku, and he ends up with the same suit as Vanitas. The suit and apprenticship are because of history repeating itself, the keyblades are dark realmed keyblades, they have evil eyes on them.

Ok, x the keyblade idea. But the passing on of the apprentice role idea still stands. Just give my points a second thought and you'll see what I am talking about.

So as we now know, Xehanort gives the keyblades to his apprentices, and...yes. I do use Pivot, but I am only but a high-beginner at it.

I got a bit of a wild idea: Vanitas will join forces with Pete & Maleficent. Why? Well basically I'm thinking if Vanitas comes back he'll be more Sora's rival than Ven's, I mean he basically is an evil version of Sora. So I figure if Sora has Donald & Goofy as party members then Vanitas could maybe have a party of his own & Pete/Malie fit the bill perfectly.
