Alright, this is something that I've noticed A LOT recently. Many Kingdom Hearts fans have some sort of depression, or were depressed when they first clicked onto Kingdom Hearts. Don't be offended, but I've gathered plenty of evidence to support this. Many members on here get depressed often, but don't worry, we all get depressed.
So, I'm sure by this time you've all heard "I know now, without a doubt, Kingdom Hearts... is LIGHT!" Well, maybe Sora wasn't talking about just the realm. Maybe he was talking about the actual game, Kingdom Hearts. Think about it. Many of us get depressed often, or were depressed when we were first hooked onto Kingdom Hearts... Maybe, just maybe... We needed a little hope, a little something...Kingdom Hearts gives that first light of hope to Kingdom Hearts fans all across the world! And, that light leads us to each other, because that's what we need the most. Each other. Kingdom Hearts, the game, spreads the message of friendship. Maybe that's why we were attracted to it... We NEEDED that friendship. And the message it gives...Its a good one.
Kingdom Hearts fans everywhere feel the same about it. It sounds a bit cheesy, but...MAYBE, just maybe...it's what we need to get off our feet for the first time. Just that first ray of hope can lead to just what we need. And that's what Kingdom Hearts is, isn't it? In game AND out of game. It's that first small glimmer of light that is always there, and never goes away. Even in the deepest darkness, a light shines within.
Look at whats come out of it! Look at US! Friendships, relationships and even MARRIAGE has been brought together by Kingdom Hearts. It's what we've needed all along... and we've found it. We found each other. Imagine if we HADN'T played Kingdom Hearts. Imagine how lonely we would have been. That light that shined so far away is now closer than it has ever been. Now that we have each other, we won't let go for a long time. Kingdom Hearts is what we needed to start looking up again, to start HOPING again. The jump start, if you will, of the rest of our lives. This site... is our temporary Haven, for as long or as short as we need it to be. I'm not going to lie... I would be dead RIGHT NOW if it hadn't been for you guys. I used to be miserable. I would go through every day thinking "Is this it for me?" I would wake up every morning, immediately saying to myself "I hate my life." I was a wreck. No one around me seemed to care for me, except my family, but that's only because they HAD to. I still look at myself sometimes and think "I'm just a big disappointment."... But ever since I joined this site a year and a half ago, everything has been better for me. I can go through the day, without despair, because I know that you guys are there. I can wake up in the morning, and know that you guys are here... and if it wasn't for Kingdom Hearts, I would not have met any of you. You guys are my best friends. I'm sure that many of you feel the same. Kingdom Hearts has led me here for a reason: I needed you.
