After playing a little game called BioShock Infinite (one of the best games I've played!), one thing I can't get off of my mind is the multiverse theory.  Noticing that KH involved things other than other-world travel (i.e. time travel and data-worlds), I can't help but wonder if the idea of parallel universes can be put into the KH world.  I think it would be cool to see other versions of the main characters coming from an alternate universe where the bad guys have won and are looking to expand their empire into other dimensions, or something like that.  It could also help explain the many versions of Xehanort at the end of KH3D (they did mention "alternate timelines," right?).  Confusing...or mind-blowing?  Thoughts?

Why are you suggesting things for Nomura to make it more complicated

Wah.

Personally I don't see a point in it.  We get loads of different worlds already why just double it up when we can get the unique and edgy stuff they want just shoved into newer worlds as technology grows?

Also I think the many versions of MX in 3D was explained fine.  It could be slightly confusing at first but it's clear

MX

MX + Terra = Terranort

Terranort - memories = Apprentice Xehanort

Apprentice Xehanort divulged into darkness = Ansem SoD + Xemnas + hollowed out shell

(Hollowed out shell mets YMX, teaches him to time travel)

Destruction of Ansem  SoD + Xemnas = Reconstructed MX + we meet YMX as he's been travelling through time doing his duties

My thoughts exactly xD

Dude... KH is already confusing as it is. Haven't you played 3D? :P

It kind of already is. Not the way you explained it, but the Realm of Light, the Realm of Darkness, the Ream In-Between and the Realm of Sleep are all separate plains of existence.

I would actually kind of like Multiple Kh timelines like zelda.

The story is hard enough for most people to understand, and we already have enough versions of every character, so no alternate versions are needed. I'd love to see the bad guys win, but that just isn't how things work, in most cases.

Wonderland >>> Underland.  My only reason for an alternate timeline.

But I don't like Underland, it was a horrible movie

But it's a great place to explore.  I'd love to fight the Jabberwocky as Sora, Riku and/or Kairi.

I'd rather Syfy's version of Alice in Wonderland.  Underland failed for me as a Disney movie and a Tim Burton movie.  I just wouldn't like it.

And we could fight the Jabberwocky in normal wonderland it'll probably be a heartless version

Ah, to each his/her own I guess.  The heartless version would definitely work for me, though!

I welcome this challenge.

I guess it would be interesting to see paralel universes in KH, but only after KH3. Maybe a more non canon game with "what if" events, like how things would have turned up if Xehanort had succeed in BbS.

It would make things much more complicated... I don't think it would be bad, but Nomura would have to be more careful with his decisions... KH3D was messy in this aspect, because you find contradictions in the story of this game (specially time travel)

No parallel universes please!

Data-Worlds are kind of like parallel universes in the KH universe.

I like the idea of parallel universes but not the idea about the different universes colliding. But maybe they can make more kingdom hearts games that take place in a parallel universe where the story plays out differently. Like what if Riku stayed a bad guy? And they can take past ideas they had for the games and make them into other games.

That seems better.
