Welcome to the Freak Show Circus,the famous traveling circus that offers you the best of the best,our speciality being the hosting of Freak Shows. The world is a cruel yet beautiful place,where many unhuman creatures like us excist,but human refuse to accept. That's right,all of the legends and myths you've heard of the Slenderman,the Mothman and even Goblins,they're all REAL. Our circus was created to explore the sins and let the deepest sets of insanity flurish. Many people,creatures,join us willingly as they have no other place in the world to go. Others are taken in well...not so willingly.

If you are a lucky memeber of the audience,you will be chosen by our ringmaster to be kidnapped and taken with us for the rest of your life...don't worry about not having talents...we will make all the arrangements for you...our doctors will make you into the perfect freak in one quick operation...

Escape is futile in this circus...our ringmaster is all powerful and punishes anyone who tries...his favorite method would be acid,having it melt your skin alive...

...but I'm not saying you aren't allowed to try. I mean,you could,and maybe succeed one day! But...where would you go? Humanity won't ever accept freaks like us...you'd just be rejected and forced to hide within the shadows of this world...but its alright...if you ever feel lonely,you can always come back here,to HOME,to Freak Show Circus.

 

Resume:

As the world of myths,legends,creatures and so on is actually connected with the world of humanity,the Freak Show Circus was created to bring humanity and the creatures together...willingly or not. Their popularity due to their freak preformers is second to none. They keep their show active and with fresh preformers by,well,kidnnapping children from the town they preform in. The ringmaster chooses from the audience,and later on they are kidnnapped and brought into the circus,to become part of it,forever. Willingly or not,those children will be deformed and turned into freaks to join the circus. The one in control would be the allmighty ringmaster,with powers and a personality beyond understanding. The circus would be this children's home now,and is the home to many others who have joined willingly or not,being deformed from birth,in a freak accident or by the doctors within the circus.

Make friends. Make your preformances count. SURVIVE. 

Escape is futile alone,but numbers can be power...welcome to the Freak Show Circus.

 

Circus rules:

-Once you join,you're part of the Freak Show Circus family membership for life. You aren't allowed to retire or leave. You can try to escape,but those who aren't killed in the attempt and are caught will be punished with acid.

-No killing our human staff. They're hard to come by ya know.

-If you're gonna fight...fight it in the middle of the circus,that way we can all see.

-Humans hate us by nature. Don't befriend any human outside the circus...unless you wish them to share your fate.

-NEVER VENTURE OUT OF THE CAMP GROUNDS. ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. Remember how I said that all of those creatures exist? Yeah,Slendermand and the Rake are out there and after all of our @$$es,and they're not nice neighboors either.

 

Roleplay rules:

-All posts must be 5 sentences minimum,which creates a nice little paragraph.

-No killing/controlling other people's characters unless you have full permission.

-If you think your character has to go or if you want to leave the roleplay,you can,but I ask that if you could,maybe make an epic death scene for your character(s)?~ That would be splended.

Appearance if you were human before: Light skin,long curly brown hair,green eyes,around 5 feet and 3 inches.

 

Current appearance: She is a 20 meter tall giantess. Long silky dark brown hair and her eyes are a pale green that seem to glow within the darkness of the shadows. She usually wears a giant dress that the staff makes just for her. She has special chains on her wrists and ankles.

 

Personality: Kind,heart-warming,and is a mother figure to her own kid and others. But she can get rather violent when her child is at risk,which is why Vashle has her under special chains.

 

Bio: Young mother who was attenting collage and taking care of her young child. She and a scientists were affectionate to eachother and it seemed like they were going to sort something out in their lives,but Katherine didn't see the love she searched for in him so she refused  him. The scientist in a mad rage of jelousy and lust poisoned Katherine with a tonic he had made,expecting for it to kill her. In result however,she was transformed into a Giantess,who ended up killing him when he threatened her young child. Before the police were called to the scene,Vashle had already arrived,giving Katherine two choices: Face the police and most likely die or be captured for experiments,or join the circus. By this point you can guess which one she picked.

Vashle turned to see Alice had walked out of her carrige. "Good morning,Alice. Ready for tonight? We're gonna have to preform for the people of Burgess! Won't it be fun?! It's been days since we've last preformed and all!"Vashle said as he pulled up a bucket of raw meat and settled it inside of the Saber Tooth carrige for it to eat. He heard the voice of Felicia,and he smiled as he turned to her. "Good morning my darling. Hopefully yes,from what I've seen in the town there are rather some nice candidates around here to join our little family! We will have to see what we find in the tent when we hold the show. I know last time we didn't find any good people to make part of our family,but I have a feeling we'll have a few joining us tonight~"Vashle said with delight as he lightly petted Felicia's head. He then turned to Flame and Sylvia. "That would be much of help,thank you darlings."Vashle said as he searched inside his jacket and pretty much took out two stacks of flyers out of nowhere,giving one to Sylvia and one to Flame. "Be careful now,they're heavy." He smirked a bit. "And if you happen to see anyone you think would make a good addition,make sure they get their flyer."Vashle said as he smirk turned back into a smile. He straightened up. "Now where's doctor Yuki? He needs to give Katherine her medication soon before she can help us with the tent."Vashle said with glee in his voice,which just covered his dark maniacal personality.

Felicia politely nodded to all those who greeted her, curtsying in their directions, but kept quiet.

(I would never curtsy) A thought that was her own flashed in her head. It made her twitch a bit before she went back to her brainwashed self.

-Bio: Freddy was a world renowned scientist and surgeon, and was praised by many, until he was caught experimenting on his patients, as well as dabbling in necromancy, trying to find a way to bring back the dead. Pleading insanity, he was institutionalized in an asylum until he escaped and found the Freak Show Circus, where Vashle welcomed him with open arms, allowing him "artistic freedom" on the kidnapped freaks to be. He also continues his experiments on ways to bring back the dead

Katie was holding her mother's hand knowing that she is going to refuse the scientist's love acceptation. When she watch her mother refuse the scientist got mad, and poisoned her. Katie got really frighten as the scientist took out a knife ready to kill Katie. Katie notice her mother growing to 20 feet tall, and killing the scientist. She run to her mother's hand, and hugs her with tears. Vashle gave them the offer to stay in his circus, and they accept.

 

A few days went by since that day. Katie was sleeping on her mother's stomach as she began to open her little eyes. She look at her mother, and smile happily. "Hi mommy." Katie said in a polite way. She was the only one in her family left ever since her father abandoned them.

 "No problem! I just hope I don't burn these flyers again." Flame giggled as she unfolded her wings from her back and flew into town. Landing between two buildings without being seen, Flame started to hand out the flyers to civillians. One boy looked at her curiously and asked. "Are you in the circus?" Flame gave the boy a warm smile, "You'll see if you come." 

 

 Ian wobbled out of the carriage his face the shade of green. He's not used to transportation and being in a carriage for a couple hours did not help. After getting rid of the horrible feeling from his stomach, Ian headed toward the carriage that was filled with things for the circus. Carrying the supplies, Ian suddenly saw a tube-like thing wrapping around his glasses and disappeared with it in a flash. "Hey!" He cried. Ian peered into a giant cage next to him to see Albert the Elephant playing catch with Ian's glasses by himself. "Ha ha very funny Albert, give me back my glasses." Ian may look angry right now but in the inside he's scared. Despite metal bars being in between them, Ian was sure Albert could easily squash him. Albert laughed, if elephants could even laugh and threw Ian's glasses near Katherine's cage. "Oh come on!" Ian groaned. Katherine scares the hell out of Ian, even more than elephants, like dang that woman is tall. 

Katherine smiled as she watched little darling Katie wake up. Katherine carefully picked her up in her hand,being careful and gentle with her as much as she could. "Good day Katie."Katherine whispered in a tone loud enough for Katie to hear. She haden't gotten used to the deep voice of her new Giantess self,but she talked when needed to no less. Her carrige cage seemed normally sized on the outside,but somehow Vashle had managed to make it big enough for Katherine and Katie on the inside. Just the fact that there was an actual mother and child in the circus fascinated Vashle to no end. Katherine's senses had sharpened with her transformation though. As she heard the commotion of the rest of the circus staff walking around,getting ready for tonight's show,she bent down a bit,getting one of her eyes by her cage window as she looked outside,her green eye pretty much glimmering by the coming sunlight. Everyone was getting ready and doing different stuff independently. She didn't see any doctors so far,so she wondered where the medications went. As long as Katie got her food and was healthy though. Her eye then looked down to see Ian,one of the human staff members,Ian to be prescice,she was yet to memorize them all. To her he could be nothing more than a snack...but she was vegetarian. Vashle walked around gleaming as he spun and hummed,his flute hanging around his neck,the source of his power and magic,or atleast the way to wield it. "Oh I can't wait I can't wait~"He squealed. He studdenly came to a halt,turning to Felicia,thinking of what she had just said. "Hm."He muttered as he thought. "Well Felicia,could you check up on doctor Freddy? Katherine needs her medicines and he usually has them."Vashle asked.

Sylvia gave a small bow before starting to walk off, starting to pass out flyers to the random crowds that were around them. It wasn't a hard thing to do, very easy in fact. The only hard thing about this job would be that the stack of papers were too heavy for her. Sylvia knew not to wonder off or she'd be disciplined. She passed the flyers out to young children, some marveling her wings. 

"You're wings are sooo pretty!" a small little girl said happily.

"Thank you. But don't touch them, unless you want a feather." Sylvia said, plucking a feather from her wings and handing it and a flyer to the little girl.

"What are you going to do tonight mommy?" Katie asked her mother knowing what tonight is. She usually goes with her mother in the circus tent for the night. She felt her stomach growl as she felt very hungry. "Mommy I feel hungry." Katie said to her.

"Oh! Oh!" Twitch exclaimed, hearing the talk about going out to put up flyers. "Let Twitch out! Twitch help bring watchers. He be good!"

The goblin practically vibrated with nervous energy. He was either rubbing his hands together or pulling on bars.

"What you say, Ringmaster? Twitch bring in lots of watchers. Lots o' coins! He promises to be good!"

Twitch tried to form an innocent smile on his face, but it came off deranged and untrustworthy.

"Alright father." She said, walking to the medical hut that was being set up.

She found Freddy leaning against a nearby trailer, and puffing a cigarette in the shadows.

"I need Katherine's medicine, do you have it by any chance?" She asked Freddy.

Freddy puffed out some smoke, then glanced at Felicia. "Here it is deary, run along now." He signaled her away and she left.

"So obedient she is now, my work on her paid off." He said to himself. "I almost miss her attempts to escape, her rebellious spirit. Almost." He continued smoking his cigarette and was lost in his thoughts.

 

Felicia handed the medicine to Vashle, then looked at the tents being set up.

"I love the circus, and I can't wait to make more circus friends." She told Vashle.

(You hate the circus) A thought appeared in her head. (Especially this one. All your friends are suffering, snap out of it and escape with them.)

Felicia's old psyche was still present, but locked away deep in her sub conscious, and currently as far as she was concerned, she was the daughter of the ringmaster, not the rebellious adventurous girl she used to be.

-Name: Coulro

-Age: 27

-Gender: Male

-Appearance: With a relatively average stature, Coulro appears to be seemingly pure human in terms of appearance, as opposed to other quirks of him. This is only because his face is the only inhumane feature of him-- his skin stretched completely over his entire face. All his facial features: eyes, mouth, nose, EVERYTHING-- its all UNDER his skin. What fools people is that he wears a rather simplistic clown/jester-based mask, to which he hides his face in. The mask has a comically large smile and blood-red paint near the eyes and mouth.

-Power(s): (Limited to around 3. You can base your powers of an element or whatever you want. Be creative!) The ability to invoke illusions based on one's fears and phobias, the ability to invoke paranoia and anxiety into someone's mind, and able to make others see everything in a distorted and occasionally demented (think schizophrenia) manner for a temporary amount of time.

-Personality: (optional) Surprisingly cunning, Coulro is purely sadistic in physical and empathetic manners, enjoying to torture someone, be it from the mind or body. He is highly obedient to Ringmaster Vashle, but takes orders from no one else. When introducing guests and visitors to the FrEaK sHoW, he tends to speak with dark humor and sometimes a few rhyming lines. He loves to strike fear into the younger audience as well, and very rarely removes his mask to frighten people with his face-under-skin appearance. When he does, however, he poses a grin even wider than that of the mask, stretching the skin even more when he does so. Coulro is also very disciplinary with the other performers if they misbehave, try to leave, or such things. He'll take to it personally, to torture in any given way so that they'd give more respect and fear, not wanting to even try to leave again.

-Bio: (optional) Turned with his skin over by his own volition, Coulro's always been keeping himself on Ringmaster Vashle's good side. Before the FrEaK sHoW was made, he was just as sadistic as any serial killer, if not worse. As of now he has several occupations in the FrEaK sHoW, his performing the least common of all, surprisingly. He mainly guides the visitors around the cIrCuS, but also punishes misbehaving freaks.

-Special talent?: (Optional. Example of this: Being good poker) Rhymes in a dark and sometimes sadistic theme, and, when in performance, conceives illusions throughout the audience to keep them much more afraid and attentive, as well as make them feel as if they're in such deadly situations (an example, to weave the illusion that they were all dangling, dead in a hanging) when really, nothing had happened and they're perfectly fine, aside from the panic, of course.

Name: Joshua Akira

Age: 11

Gender: Male

Appearence:

 

Appearence after deformation: (Be as creative as you want. The one thing that is not allowed is a human centepede) Half the time, he appears the same, but with vampiric features like fangs. At sometimes random times, when he doesn't get enough blood, or when the transformation is forced (by the doctors), he becomes a human abomination. In his abomination state, everything is drastically changed. His size is increased to that of around 14 feet high, extra skin grows and thickens, barely onto himself as if it was poorly sewed on, and grotesque extra limbs protruding randomly. Blood and other oozes can sometimes gush from the skin, and extra eyes can appear throughout the body.

Personality: (optional) While usually conservative of any blood consumption, Joshua tries to completely avoid taking it from the innocent. Though, at a certain point, he'd lose all sympathy for anyone when he starves enough. Similar to being in a prison cell-- completely starving to literal death, while a gourmet is sitting right next to you. That is the unbearable feeling of hunger when he's near anyone with blood flowing through their veins. He's usually sympathetic and kind to others though, just avoiding people out of his own hunger and mere fear. As an abomination, he cannot even speak, and despite that, feels as if he must scream. Living as such a creature is a simply horrible experience, which is why Joshua tends to avoid any transformation. However, when they quite literally show the freak that he is to audiences, the doctors don't seem to be afraid to force such a transformation.

Bio: (optional) Joshua grew up spoiled, but also isolated from most other people. He always had a feeling of fear and paranoia when alone, especially during the night, which was eventually proven. Though he was never the type to play outside, Joshua was eventually taken from the comfort of his own home, unable to say one last goodbye to his parents-- or to the rest of the world as he knew. Once he'd be transformed, there'd be no way he could ever go back anywhere, and he never needed to try. The only way out was death...but even that scared him. He was forsaken-- to live properly, he must take the lives of others. If he did, would he be seen as a bad person? Just because he was afraid of death?

-Name: Isaac Ghiral

-Age: 37

-Gender: Male

-Appearance:

 

-Personality: (Optional) Very sadistic and merciless, Isaac tries to make the most insane or unbearable freaks for the circus. While preferring more feminine subjects, Isaac does do better with mixing animals, or an animal with a human, and so on, to outcomes that aren't exactly defined by gender at all. Isaac also has a fetish for dissection-- ready to dissect anything unnecessary, which is surprisingly uncommon for the FrEaK sHoW.

-Bio: (Optional) Isaac joined the FrEaK sHoW upon losing all his sanity after murdering his family while it was in-town. Isaac usually stays away from any performances, but instead takes innocents and animals to test and genetically engineer, in order to make animals-- or rather, beasts for the performances.

-Special talent?: (Optional. Example of this: Immitating anima sounds) Great at conjoining animals to make a new species

Alice simply looked at Vashle and nodded her head without saying a word. She watched as the other performers went to go help out the ringmaster with advertising, but there really wasn't any point since people would want to stare at deformed humans anyways.  Alice looked over to see some of the crowd still standing nearby their circle of carriages and cages. Through one of the cracks between two carriages, she could see two girls around her age staring at her through the small opening. Their gazed were a mix of disgust, amusement and curiosity. This made Alice frown and glared at them. The two girls seemed a bit freaked out by this and walked away quickly. They're probably going to be at the circus later on today anyways, she thought and sighed. She walked over to pick up some flier and decided to walk out into the crowd and give some fliers to anybody who was brave enough to take one from her due to her appearance. As another person took a flier from her, Alice looked to see that there was an opening that could easily lead her farther away from the carriages and away from the circus. She could feel the fear of being punished creep into her mind if she were to be caught and she continued giving out more fliers. I'll get out of here, she thought, one day

EDIT: I'm embarrassed. I copied the wrong sheet and I'm only now noticed it... Patric was suppose to be a somewhat recent addition to the Circus...

Vashle turned over to Twitch. "I have a single problem with that,Twitch."Vashle said as his face was rather filled with concern. "I don't trust you on your own."Vashle said as he got a hand on his cheek,thinking about it. Maybe it would attract some people. Vashle looked to the side and smiled,taking the medicine from Felicia. "Thanks Felicia."Vashle said as he turned over to Twitch. "I'll return to you in a second,Twitch. You'll have something to do in a moment."Vashle said with a smile as he hurried over to Katherine's carrige cage. Inside Katherine retreated her sight from the window to watch over to her little Katie. "Don't worry,I'll get ya some food soon enough."Katherine assured as she gave a warming smile. Vashle hurried his pace and got ready to unlock the door. He turned to Ian. "Ian,you might want to step back a bit. Katherine's coming out!"Vashle yelled,giving a warning due to her size. The last thing he wanted was to have one of them get squished. That would be one hell of a mess to clean up. Vashle blew a tune on his flute as he opened the door. Katherine held Katie in her hand as her free hand reached to the edge of the doorway,which she pulled and it started to stretch like rubber! Katherine pulled the doorway up as she crouched down,stepping out one step at a time from her carrige. THUD. THUD. Vashle's expression was somewhat anxious as she watched her feet,making sure she didn't step on anyone. Katherine blinked a few times to the sunlight as she held her daughter. She finally got out,standing up straight,stretching a bit. Vashle let out a sigh of relief as he waved his hand infront of him. Vashle looked over to Ian and smiled. "Well atleast she hasn't squished anyone yet!"Vashle joked. Katherine looked around,the town where they had settled for the show was rather beautiful and quite pretty. "Look."Katherine said,suggesting Katie to enjoy the view. But she reminded herself that the small 3 year old was hungry. She carefully knelt down towards Vashle,who quickly looked up at her. "Yes Katherine?"Vashle asked. Katherine lowered the hand which held Katie. "...She's hungry..."Katherine said. Vashle stared and nodded,carefully taking the small Katie off Katherine's hand. "Oh yes,don't worry Katherine,we'll fill her tummy with food. But in the meanwhile,I need you to set up the tent."Vashle asked as he pointed at the layed out extensive equipment. Katherine stared out and and slightly noded,standing up straight again and walking towards the equipment,careful not to step on anyone. The twins were just happening to pass by when Len gasped and stopped on his tracks. "What is it Len?"Rin asked. His jaw was dropped as he pointed up. Rin looked up and gasped a bit as she saw Katherine starting to set up the tent like a child's puzzle toy. Vashle turned to Ian,who was the closest person at the moment. "HOLD HER PLEASE."He said as he handed him Katie to hold while Vashle ran over to Twitch's cage. "Twitch as much as I care for you my dear goblin,I don't really trust you,especially after last attempt."Vashle said with a slight chuckle. He then smiled as he moved his hands together,seperating them to have a chain collar appear in his hands. "I will let you help Katherine out setting the tent if you wear this though."Vashle said as he anime sweatdropped. By this point the twins were peeking in from between the carriges,looking around. "Is that a real goblin?!"Len asked in a whisper before being pulled by Rin towards Alice,who was handing out flyers. "Lady lady!"Rin asked as she ran towards Alice. "I-Is everything in the circus real?!"Rin asked,a gush of excitement in her voice.

Vashle turned over to Twitch. "I have a single problem with that,Twitch."Vashle said as his face was rather filled with concern. "I don't trust you on your own."Vashle said as he got a hand on his cheek,thinking about it. Maybe it would attract some people. Vashle looked to the side and smiled,taking the medicine from Felicia. "Thanks Felicia."Vashle said as he turned over to Twitch. "I'll return to you in a second,Twitch. You'll have something to do in a moment."Vashle said with a smile as he hurried over to Katherine's carrige cage. Inside Katherine retreated her sight from the window to watch over to her little Katie. "Don't worry,I'll get ya some food soon enough."Katherine assured as she gave a warming smile. Vashle hurried his pace and got ready to unlock the door. He turned to Ian. "Ian,you might want to step back a bit. Katherine's coming out!"Vashle yelled,giving a warning due to her size. The last thing he wanted was to have one of them get squished. That would be one hell of a mess to clean up. Vashle blew a tune on his flute as he opened the door. Katie look at the man name Ian, and tilt her little head a bit. "Hello Mr.Ian my name is Katie." Katie said politely to Ian. She is usually the shy one even around certain people. Her stomach growl once more due to her being hungry.

Alice was startled and nearly dropped her fliers and stuffed doll that was sitting in her arm when the two twins came up from behind her. She felt her skin tense up between the stitches on her body but then calmed down. How are these kids not scared by my appearance, she thought and turned around towards them. " Uh...yes." Alice said a bit timidly. "Everything there is real." She kind of smiled a bit at Rin's excitement. "Are you interested in coming to the circus tonight?" If they did come, Alice had a good feeling they would be joining her with the other freaks in this circus. She hoped that wouldn't happened to them if they did show up. 

Felicia looked at Twitch. Oh the many times they tried to escape together, it's no wonder why Vashle doesn't trust him. Deep down she wanted to continue her friendship with him, but she stayed away so as not to get anymore ideas about leaving.

"I don't know why you keep trying to run Twitch, isn't it much easier to just let things be and enjoy yourself?" She told him.

She then skipped over to Rin and Len.

"Of course they're real, I hope you guys come to see the show."

She projected a thought to Vashle. (They're twins, that would be an amazing addition to my collection of marionettes. Can we keep them? Please?)

 "W-what?! She's coming out?" Ian quickly made a dash to his glasses just as Katherine stepped out of her cage. Ian nearly pee'd his pants when Katherine's giantic feet was a couple feet away from him. 'Oh man, did anyone die here from her?' He thought. Ian was about to escape until Vashle handed Katie over to him. Ian never took care of babies when he was younger, so holding a giant's daughter is a mystery to him. "Oh uh hi Katie, are you gonna...be tall like your mom someday?" Ian asked. He imagined dealing with two giants in the future, the thought made him shudder. 

"No i'm too little to be a giant Mr.Ian." Katie said nicely to him. She heard her stomach growl again. "I feel really hungry." Katie rubbing her little tummy.

Twitch chewed at his finger nails as he looked at the collar. He had bad memories about collars.

"Twitch don't knows, Ringmaster." He gibbered. "Twitch promised to be good, yet you want him chained. Twitch don't knows."

After Felicia spoke, there was a moment where Twitch stopped moving. He was almost statue still, his face an unreadable mask as he seemed to glare at the girl's retreating back.

But in less than a second, it was over. He violently jerked and began to pace back and forth in a hunched way, tapping his lips with a closed fist nervously. He final stopped moving about, but still twitched speraticly.

"Okay." He said, sounding down cast. "Twitch do what Ringmaster say."

 

Anya stood at the edge of the circus that was setting up. Should she go in? Maybe she should wait till they were ready. Though, that would be them whitewashed. To see them, she would have to take a look when they weren't ready. She took in a deep breath and took a few cautious steps into the circus.

 Ian sighed in relief. Good, he wasn't going to be dealing with two giants in the future. 'And is she callng me Mr. Ian? That's interesting.' He thought. Hearing Katie being hungry he answered, "Y-you're hungry? I guess we should get you a snack from the food carriage." Katie was light to Ian's surprise as he carried her to the food carriage. "So what do you eat Katie?" Ian picked up a bag of animal crackers. "I recommend this." 'What am I doing?! I don't know if she's even old enough to eat crackers!' Ian thought.

"Yummy" Katie said happily. She politely grabbed it, and open it. She slowly ate the crackers. "This is yummy." Katie said to Ian.
