Posted August 5, 201312 yr This isn't really a debate or anything, I'm just curious. To all the Devil May Cry fans out there: can you, if you so please, explain to me, a DMC n00b in general, the difference between the video games and the anime series? If there are any?
August 5, 201312 yr I'm so much of a noob i only know the general fan debates about it, but lots of people like the anime better. But it cant live up to the games obviously because its discontinued. there are few good anime-game adaptations but when they are good they are very good.

If you going to play the Devil May Cry series, you might want play in this order to understand the story. Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry 1, Devil May Cry 4 and Devil May Cry 2 (Excluding DmC)

Usually this is the case with others. On this website, I even saw someone posting a .gif of someone animating the Classic Dante to look like he's beating up the new Dante.

It's alternative version of the series.

Dante even looks older in 2 than he did in 4.

Dante even looks older in 2 than he did in 4. not really he was just what fans call emo'd out and very depresing i may add not my fav devil may cry game but if im right most of the creators kinda dropped devil mcy cry 2 and DMC and devil may cry are 2 dif things now but most fans presume that it is the last game just becous its not mentioned in 4 about him going to hell but the bosses at the end of 2 refer back to all the old bosses in devil may cry 1 Edited August 6, 201312 yr by darklunatic
