Not long now until hundreds of thousands of gamers descend on Cologne to check out the latest updates on forthcoming games, and we’re very pleased to be a part of it! We thought we’d let you know what to expect, if you’re one of the lucky ones attending.

First up, we’ll have a special Battle Challenge for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, allowing you to go up against one of the game’s mighty primals. The full release isn’t far away, so this year’s Gamescom is the perfect chance to check out the results of all the hard work that Naoki Yoshida and his team have been putting in – plus the man himself will be there to present the game, play with fans and sign autographs.

Meanwhile, if watching from the shadows is more your thing, head over to the Thief theatre to see Garrett infiltrate the Baron’s manor to steal his most prized possession in a new game trailer.

Murdered: Soul Suspect will also at the show, having received great feedback from those that saw it at E3 – now’s your chance to see it for yourself, and start figuring out how you can solve your own murder...

Plus, producer Yoshinori Kitase and game director Yuji Abe will be on-hand to present previously-unseen elements from Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII – so if you want an autograph, make sure to head on over.

And last but not least, we’ll also have hands-on opportunities for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX and Deus Ex: The Fall.

Have you bought your ticket yet??

Gamescom takes place from Aug 21st - Aug 25th. Only 13 days to go. Literally. xD

Murdered:Soul Suspect... I think that trailer's on Tomb Raider

Anyways, though it's a shame that we won't be seeing FFXV and KH3, it still makes you wonder what else they have to throw at us.

Yeah, but at least we're getting more news on the X and KH collections, and LR. So im satisfied. :)

Cant wait. More 1.5 footage.

I've honestly seen enough of the HD collections, they don't need to give them THAT much coverage... I mean, I'm INCREDIBLY excited for them, but it'd be nice to see a project like FFXV or KHIII, or even KH2.5

I wasnt expecting XV or KH3, although I dont care to much for FFX or KH1.5 gameplay because Im waiting for release to play it myself.
