It's almost as if YOU'RE not the only trainer who can use items?!?!?!!?!?!?

While I know it's fair that your opponents have items like we do

 

But the timing they use a full restorse is always done to piss you off

 

Right before you claim that sweet victory over your opponents pokemon after you lowered their stats and affected them with status conditions and they're almost dead.................BAM...Full Restore as if we did nothing to that Pokemon

I'm not sure, but isn't there an ability or an attack you can use that prevents the opponent from using those kinds of items? I haven't played Pokemon in quite a while so I forget  :P

I was thinking of Heal Block. Not really the same, but close enough xD

I'm not sure, but isn't there an ability or an attack you can use that prevents the opponent from using those kinds of items? I haven't played Pokemon in quite a while so I forget  :P

That ability is for items that Pokemon holds,not for items used by a trainer

 

Heal Block as far as I'm aware blocks the Pokemon's ability to use recovery attacks

Embargo. I always found it pointless as I'd end up taking advantage of it and use stat boosting moves.
