If we have our first death in KH, it better not be someone "spiriting away". I want to see the body (it doesn't have to be gory, though)

I really see no reason for the KH team to censor something like this. I mean, seriously, this game is a mix between Final Fantasy and Disney. Anyone remember Clayton's death where you see the shadow of his hanging body, the quail that got shot in Bambi or all of those dead people from FF7? It's not like there are much children in the fandom (heck, older people outnumber children in the gaming community in general)

Just my 2 cents, I want to see a dead body and someone crying over it so I can cry as well.

Um, you know you can have a realistic death without blood (hence why I mentioned to nix the gore).

But including blood,no gore, just blood automatically bumps up the age rating, cutting off half their audience.  There was blood coming from the Hydra in the Japanese version of KH2 that was censored out of the western versions because it results in the age ranking being increased.  The lower the age ranking the bigger their consumer market the larger their potential profit.

Your personal desire for "a little blood" won't give them the additional profit every fan under 13 can provide

I think Eraqus will return since no one really dies in KH, but as it stands so far he technically died.  I haven't played Re:COM yet (still trying to get through KH1FM before moving on while dealing with Uni ._.) so I've never even seen Repliku's death, but I suppose people just don't care about Replicas xD

Oh I agree he died i'm just saying I think he's gonna return  xD Repliku's death is really sad actually. I'll let you see for yourself

I never said I wanted any blood, I wanted to see a body. Not all bodies need blood, like in the Lion King.

Fool. Ever since every game has followed the style.

But what I am asking is:

Is it strict? Like would they get in trouble if they do something different?

Fool. You misunderstand the word strict I think. There are no rules to be followed, it just is that way. Changing the style is changing it itself. So they won't do something different because it's still Kingdom Hearts.

I don't think featuring a real death will harm KH so that really isn't much of a problem. The problem that lies is who would die.

We've SEEN their bodies.  Just cause they're not still laying there in the way when you get back into a playable mode from the cutscenes doesn't mean we see daisies and lollipops when someone dies.  Simply put KH isn't the sort of game that needs dead bodies to portray severity or death.

???

I'm not sure where you are getting at with seeing dead bodies in playable modes. All I asked for was a dead scene where someone realistically dies. Who is a real person and doesn't come back to life. I'm confused about Eraqus and if he permanently died.
