Curious Things in the new KHIII Trailer (*Possible Spoilers*)

Posted

It has been a long time since the last time I post something is these forums, but I guess later is better than never. I want to give my opinions about the recent trailer of "Kingdom Hearts III". First of all, I want to recommend everybody not to jump in conclusions by what we saw in it; basing on past experiences, we (the veteran fans of Kingdom Hearts ) know that the first trailers never show anything real from the final game. Well, almost anything. Said this, these are my comments:  + The graphics of the game and the characters... MAGNIFICENT!!! + Surely I'm not the only one who noticed it, but do you recognize the Twilight Town's zone where the first scene happens? It's just the place where it should be the hole in the wal that takes you to the forest, and then to the Old Mansion. But the hole is no more!! The Old Mansion is a very important part of this world, so if the hole is no more, how are we going to visit it now?  + The command "Two Shoot Blaster" is weird, especially because we see Sora using something similar to guns; but I would lie if I say it wasn't cool. It makes me greatly suspect that "Toy Story" will appear here. You see, the attack has the name "blaster" that connects it with Buzz Lightyear, but the name has several Sheriff's Stars in its logo. The weapons seem created from Kairi's Kayblade, the Oathkeeper. They also has a little resemblance to Xigbar's weapons, the Arrowguns. Just a coincidence? + The scene with the "Pirate Ship" was also weird but cool. The music was from Twilight Town, but for a second, I thought it was a zone from the Radiant Garden from "Birth by Sleep"; until I recognized the enormous bridge of the train. But from where did the water come from? Would be the water part of the command too? + The battle with the Rock Titan was werid, cool and a little creepy. Doesn't the Rock Titan look like bigger than in its previous appearances? And even more powerful? You see, the music is the same of our battle against him in the original Kingdom Hearts, but the battleground doesn't look like the Olypus Collisseum at all. Therefore, I suspect this time we won't have any tournaments in Hercules' world, neither in the Olympus Collisseum or in the Underworld. I suspect, this time, we will actually be in a part of Hercules' movie; mainly the part where Hades releases the Titans and attack the Olympus. That means we could also fight the other Titans: the Ice Titan, the Lava Titan and the Tornado Titan. That would be awesome, huh?  + The scenes with the Pirate Ship and the Rock Titan have something strange. Have you noticed that the sky looks darker than usual? I suspect this could be an effect of Master Xehanort's master plan; to create another Keyblade War which will cover all the worlds with darkness and destroy them again. It will be ironic if that moment coincides with Hades' attack to the Olympus, as when it happens, the planets line up and project a shadow on the sea that reveals the Titans' prison; just the moment Hades uses to free them. + This whole thing of Sora using the attractions of Disneyland as a way to attack is way too weird, but at the same time, it's interesting and cool. I really can't wait to see how they are going to explain it, and how it's even possible. We have the Big Magic Mountain, which combines the "Big Thunder Mountain" and the train from Disney's Electrical Parade. The Pirate Ship also combines Captain Hook's ship with the ship from the Electrical Parade. Which other attractions do you think we will see? I suspect on Cinderella's Pumpkin Coach, Dopey's Mine Train, Elliot from "Pete's Dragon" and maybe the Big Clown Face from "Pinnochio's Pleasure Island".  Well, what do you think?

I found it interesting that while the sky was darker, Sora was using "summons" or what ever they are, with lights on them. C: Might be looking too into it, but if Xehanort was making the sky darker, then sora was the light in the dark. ;D I'm all about stupid cliches man, like, i love that shit and it would be cool if that's what was intended.

Do you think it's possible that the "Two Shooter Blaster" was a command style, like in bbs?

I'm still not sure if I would enjoy/like the use of Disney land attractions

Take anything outside of what was focused on (the splitting keyblade into guns, summons/attractions, basic combat) with a grain of salt considering the trailer very much seemed like a concept video

I think the sky got darker because of the summon because they wanna show how pretty the lights are and the Titan is bigger and better because with the new consoles you can have more verticality

That could be a possibility. Another thing I have in mind is that it could be a day-night cycle.
