NEW & OLD HEARTS GATHER

Kingdom of Keys

It has taken a while but Lynn has finally gathered both new & old hearts of light to help her not just battle to protect those important to ones self but to help keep safe the light in every world & heart. All the recruit's have gathered on the new world Lynn call's 'Kingdom of Keys', It was hard for the new recruit's to get here as for some reason this world is almost impossible to not only find but also hard to get too as a strange energy flow is seen around the worlds lanes in between covering the worlds lanes with a strange type of fog & without Lynn's given directions there was almost no way anyone would find it.

But since Lynn gave out the directions to everyone she recruited they found the worlds location easily, the sky on 'Kingdom of Keys' is sorta dark with black clouds floating around making it seem very creepy like. Now everyone has made it onto the world 'Kingdom of Keys', it's big castle like doors are wide open for them to enter, inside there is a massive ballroom with many tables that have tasty different foods & drinks set out for everyone to eat & drink. There are also many chairs to sit on with welcoming decorations all around the place to make the recruits feel more at home.

At the far end of the ballroom there is a stage with a long table with 4 members of the 'Key Council' (Members of the 'Key Council' wear black coats) sitting side by side at the long table all facing the doors entrance with their hoods covering their faces, it seems they are waiting for Lynn & the last 'Key Council' member to arrive at the meeting. (this is where the recruits should talk to others while enjoying the food & drinks or wonder around the castle & it's many rooms until Lynn appears for the meeting. Hello everyone it's me, the narrator, it's good to pick up this book after reading the first one. I can't tell you just how much fun this will be reading your great adventure, I'll also be helping you out here & there giving you hints, just like last time. Now let's start this story :D )

Ziio stepped through the doors, gear ready'd. She had to ask for an extended leave of absence from school, but seeing as the world's could be destroyed, they approved quickly. "I can't believe its been around sixteen years..." Ziio muttered, gazing around the room as recruits filled it up. "I wonder if Four's gonna be here, or if anyone else from the old war will be... I won't blame them for wanting to live in peace after that." She scanned the crowd; yet no faces showed... Yet.

James arrived on the scene as he entered the castle doors. He was wearing his mask, which hid his face. "So much about this place, taking it with darkness, would be a snap. Why did I join these people anyway?" James said as he walked inside.

Thomas had already sneaked into the castle from a window in the back. He didn't want to make an appearance in the front until he knew it was safe. He then found a bed and fell on to it. "This should be a good place to relax until I am truly needed." Thomas told himself.

Victoria appeared from thin air in a chair close to the stage. She then looked around her. "Such a castle, where is all the differences of this castle from another?" Victoria said.

Aexis appears in the castle in a Corridor of Light, wearing a black coat. He remembers the old War years ago, still wondering if he can truly forget those events. He looks around at the set up with a stern look on is face. Aexis then thinks to himself in his head mentally with the following words. "Hmm, just what is up now..." Thought Aexis, mentally thinking in his head.

In a corner of the gathering hall, Axuqa watched the gathering heroes. She recognized all of them, one way or another, and nodded to a few. Her face hardened slightly when a man with blond hair and mustache wearing a black coat stepped into the room from outside.

Mathias yawned slightly. His flight in the Gummi Ship had been long, but he had some caffeine pills somewhere on him, so he'd be fine to move out when ever. A hopeful look on his face fell slightly as he saw Axuqa stalk towards him.

"Hello, my dear." He greeted, forcing a smile. "Fancy meeting you here."

"I thought I ordered you to hold back and be ready for orders." Axuqa said quietly, in a voice use to orders being followed.

"I'm fine, thank you." Mathias comment dryly. "And you ordered your operatives to stay put. I'm a consultant. A consultant whose world might be threatened. I want to help the divisions and their isn't time for me to invite something for each member."

Axuqa's cold gaze pinned Mathias where he was for several seconds, but he stood up to it.

"Very well." The Replica Keyblade Master said. "Just watch your back out there."

Mathias let out a breath he hadn't know he was holding in. He also thought he could hear a trace amount of concern from Axuqa's tone. Not something he heard much from her.

"Will do."

A young man in a suit carrying a shethed katana in his left hand quietly entered the room and surveyed the occupence. Cole was a little nervous to be around so many Keyblade wielders, but he did not outwardly show it. He adjusted his glasses slightly with his free hand and walked further into the room.

There were three keyblade riders flying to the castle front door.  They jumped off and dismissed their armor.  The three that arrived were Ovan and his apprentices: Taho at the right, and Rahe at the left.  They walked into the ballroom and looked around.  In utter awe, Taho says:  "Wow.  This place is incredible.  Land of Departure seems dim compared to here."

Rahe:  "Yeah.  There's a lot of people here.  Must be something important for this many."

Ovan:  "That's especially the case if this gathering is like last time."

Taho:  "You mean before the war started, master Ovan?"

Ovan:  "Yes.  That's exactly what I mean."

The trio walk to and take seats at a table, wanting to eat and drink a bit before talking with anyone.

Aexis looks around at everyone, also looking at the familiar faces with a stern look on his face. He unfolds his arms as he looks on at everyone. He is amazed that a lot of Keyblade Wielders have arrived. He then speaks to everyone in the room by saying. "Greetings, eyeryone, most of you know that my name is Aexis, if some of you haven't heard of me, I participated in a War before this one, hope to be honored in joining in the fray once again..." Said Aexis, talking to everyone.

Thomas was still on the bed hidden away from everyone. He didn't know what to think of everything that had been happening to him lately. He wasn't one for the past, but this seems something that he should think about some more. "Why, why did everything have to happen this way?" Thomas said to himself.

Victoria was eating little and mostly drinking. She thought that would help ease some time before things started.

James was sitting down, waiting for something to happen. He then looked at Aexis when he started to talk to everyone.

"AEXIS!" The cry echoed the hall. From the main doors stood a trio of figures; Zion de Wynter, a Keyblade Master from the first war. With her was her wife Xion , and behind them was Lightning Farron, looking impassive. None of them looked a day older then when they first were seen.

Xion was glaring at her errant son. "So. Now you eecide to show up? Lightning hasn't been able to see you from Valhalla, and I find you in the middle of starting another war?" Xion marched over and grabbed Aexis by tye ear, pulling him downwards. "You might be older right now, but I am still your mother. Never go to war unless I say so." Releasing Aexis, Xion went to a table and sat down, and were joined by Zion and Lightning. The trio began to eat, Zion kissing Xion's cheek a few times in an attempt to calm her down.

Embrex entered the room through a dark corridor, a mischievous grin on her lips, and a sly twinkle in her eyes. As she walked forward her red cloak fluttered around her legs, and she marveled at the gathering of new warriors. She spotted comrades, both new and old in the room, mixing and mingling. Embrex walked by the table where Zion, Xion, and Lightning sat, and as she passed, the nobody whispered in Lightning's ear, "Those two can be a handful, eh?" Before moving along, not waiting for a response.

Neena walked into the room, walking around the edges of the room, staying purposefully apart from everybody else. Her dark eyes seemed to be alight with hatred towards the room, and what she was doing, but nonetheless, she was there. Neena soon came to a stop, and leaned against a wall, continuing to observe the many people milling about.

Cole spotted Neena come in and pick her spot. He watched her for a moment, then walked over to her. He took up a spot on the wall next to Neena and leaned his sheathed blade next to him.

"Are you going to be okay?" He asked, as he joined her in watching the room.

Axuqa walked over to the reunion of mother and son.

"Ah, Zion." She said, nodding to Zion. "I'm glad to see you and Xion made it."

She looked over and spotted Lightning, which sparked a raise of an eyebrow.

"How did you get her to come along?"

Mathias watched Axuqa walk away. He had tried to understand her for years now, ever since she saved him and he was still a ways away from a conclusion.

Sighing he walked over to the drinks bar and poured himself one, nodding to Victoria.

James walked up to Neena and Cole. "Seems like someone over here has a bit of dislike in their heart." James said about Neena.

Victoria looked over at Mathias. "What?" she said. She didn't know why someone would nod at her. For where she came from, people only nod for a reason.

Neena looked up at Cole. She had met this man before, and she knew what he was talking about. She breathed in, and out, looking him in the eyes. "I'll be fine. But if the higher-ups leave me hanging for too long, I might just break out and kill a few of them." Neena said in response to Cole, her tone indicating that she wasn't exaggerating. Neena continued to watch, noticing one of the original heroes of light, along with others from the previous Worlds at War campaign. She saw numerous keyblades around, and she tried to not bust out her bow and shoot the wielder on the spot. Then a new man came up to her. Neena gave him a look that would kill a Behemoth with a single glance. "And you would care why?" Neena retorted, sarcasm and hatred welling in her voice.

At the table, the master and apprentices were enjoying their meal.  Ovan and Rahe ate and drank in a slow, calm manner.  Taho, on the other hand, was eating fast like no tomorrow.  He tore a piece of meat with his hands, stabbed into another, mowed down on a bowl of soup, and golfed down the closest punch.  Rahe, staring at Taho with both irritation and amazement tells him:  "Taho, through all the years training and living together, I can't believe how you can be around food."  Taho:  "What?  When I'm hungry and see tasty stuff, I get excited."  Rahe:  "Heh, I know you do."

Ovan, hearing his students thinks:  These two haven't changed, even with what happened to their home.  But that's a good thing.  Now I wonder how they'll do with others.  Ovan puts his silverware down and says:  "Dining time is over guys.  Get up and meet some people.  Taho groans and says:  "Now?  Can't I finish first?"  Ovan:  "You've had enough.  Besides, anyone you chat with might be in the same division as you two."  Rahe:  "Master Ovan is right Taho.  It'd be nice to get to know a few people, just in case.  Taho:  "Alright, if you say so master."  The apprentices get up and walk around, unsure of who to talk with first.

James smiled as he took off his mask. "Well, I am a person who feeds on hate, anger, and dislike. I am not even sure why I joined up with everyone here, normally I would be trying to kill someone just for fun." James said with a dark smile.

"With practice." Lightning told Embrex calmly.

Zion grinned, nuzzling Xion's hair. "Well. We kinda know how to get her to do stuff."

Lightning blushed lightly. "Quiet."

"Naaaah." Sion giggled lightly. Xion smiled. "Be nice Zion."

"Fiiiine." The blonde nuzzled Xion again, falling silent.

Cole eyed James coldly. He wasn't a Wielder, that Cole could see, but that didn't mean much. There were several things the Decolor disapproved of, and Cole had a feeling that James made that list. But he could be useful.

Cole's eyes swiveled to see Neena's face, and he smiled slightly. It might be fun to see what she would do to this guy.

Mathias paused, his drink halfway to his lips.

"I'm...sorry?" He asked, somewhat bewildered and with a slightly humorous worried look on his face.

"Ah." Axuqa said.

Zion and Xion certainly had that effect on some people. She nodded to Lightning.

"Good to have you here, Miss Farron."

The Replica Master also nodded a greeting to Embrex.

Victoria smiled. "Well, it is just that you nodded at me. Where I come from, that means someone wants something or to say something." Victoria said.

James looked at Cole. He didn't like the way Cole was looking at him.

(It looks like 3rd division has one too many people. Are you sure you need my character there? I can boil it down to two if needed, and I would be happier with it)

Nocturne 'Cody' Zero-Four arrived at the gathering place, the effects of stopga sleep still not completely worn off on the poor sucker. Luna Zero-Five was holding his hand, guiding him to this place with 'Ghost" Two-One trailing behind them, mentally assessing the Guardian who broke his oath. Her grip was tight around her keyblade, but for some reason was holding back against stabbing him. "You out of all the Guardians" Ghost started, her cold voice sending chills down Luna's back, "to break the oath you've sworn to abide by. You know the punishment, Nocturne." Luna looked back, hate and sadness filled her eyes as she hugged Cody. "Please... I beg you" she replied, "don't put him down."

"She almost did." Cody piped up, still in a daze of sorts. "But you heard my reasoning. I had to prioritize, and that was my interpretation of the oath." He turned around. Despite being frozen in time physically, the psychological scars of combat, deprivation and conflicting thought was evident in his eyes. The fresh wound of Ghost almost succeeding in taking him out was visible on his neck. "Why don't you just end it all right here, right now?"

Almost happy to oblige, Ghost unsheathed her keyblade. Cody just stood there, not bothering to retaliate like in their first confrontation. Luna stood between them, unmoved. "Step aside, Luna." Ghost calmly remarked, "You and I both know who would win in this fight, even if Nocturne here decides to fight back." Luna remained still, determined to fight back. "I don't care if you're an assassin, I'm not letting you hurt him."

"Enforcer." Ghost corrected her, "And like I said, Nocturne. I don't know for certain if you should be eliminated. What you did was in the gray zone, and the Master has told me that the decision is ultimately up to me." She re-sheathed her blade. "And I'm still deciding on the judgement."

Luna breathed a sigh of relief, happy that there was some time for him. She looked around the room and eyed the newcomers before spotting Zion and Xion. Starting towards them, she looked back and saw both Ghost and Nocturne locked in a cold standoff, possibly freaking out some of the newcomers.

Mathias lowered his drink as he listened to Victoria.

"Oh, I've used it as...well, a form of greeting." He explained. "I usually have my hands full when I see someone, so I just nod to show that I've seen them."

He laughed slightly.

"Sorry if I perplexed you unduly."

He offered Victoria a hand.

"I'm Mathias, by the way."

Axuqa turned to see Cody, Luna and Ghost come in. The structure and politics of the Guardians was one of the few things she had not studied in detail, so her understanding for the looks Cody and Ghost were sharing was limited, but what she did understand wasn't good. When Luna got closer, she gave the Guardian a questioning look, then directed at the standoff.

Victoria smiled. She took the hand. "I'm Victoria, a girl of many wonders. It is very nice to meet you." Victoria said with a smile. She was starting to warm up to this place, thinking that maybe everything will be alright.

Seeing Luna, Zion jumped up, hugging Luna tightly.

"Luna!" She said. "I misses you!"

Zion pulled her down onto her lap, where Xion started to play with Luna's hair. "Hey Luna. Cody still a Cookie Cutter Super Soldier?"

Ziio saw a few of the previous War's members, the first, oddly, was Axqua, then the next ones she recognized was Ovan, a boy from the war who had helped her dad destroy the black hole, then she saw Four, as well as some other members of his possy. Their looks didn't look too... Happy. To hopefully break the tension, Ziio walked over to the group, silently, and used her newfound magic skills to sneak behind one of them(Cody) and breath a cold chill on his neck, then did a slight teleport away, behind a random person in the crowd out of their field of view, then became visible again and walked over to see what the man's reaction was, greeting the group with a warmer-than-icy-but-colder-than-stone stare she use to give to any of them, hoping for a little recognition and to give Four a break from whatever the situation was.

Neena looked at James. An oddball, that was for sure, and an annoying one too. Her grandmother had told her stories about people like him. Most of the time, the story ended with, "And then I killed him,". Neena knew that this man wasn't a wielder, he didn't have the offensive stench of one. However, his stench was still pissing her off. Neena glared at the man, and said in a plain tone. "My hatred is too much for the likes of you to handle," Neena opened her palm toward him, and a blast of dark energy shoved him back like a hard tackle. "Now go away, before I take the safety off." Neena threatened, her hand slightly leaning toward her blade.

Taho and Rahe walked for a while and weren't able to chat with anyone.  Taho put his hands behind his head and says to Rahe:  "Huh.  So far, we haven't run into anyone in a chatting mood."  Rahe turned left and saw Ziio heading to a group of people.  He says to Taho:  "There's a group we haven't tried yet.  Let's try them."  Taho:  "Hm?"  He turned to where Rahe saw them and said:  "Okay.  Let's go."  Taho and Rahe starting walking over to them.

Seeing Luna, Zion jumped up, hugging Luna tightly."Luna!" She said. "I misses you!"Zion pulled her down onto her lap, where Xion started to play with Luna's hair. "Hey Luna. Cody still a Cookie Cutter Super Soldier?"

Feeling Ziio's chilly breath, Cody turned around and saw no one. He looked back, Ghost still giving him the cold, calculated look. "I'll leave you to do your 'judgement' then. In the meantime, I'm gonna say hi to some ol' battle buddies around here." He spotted Luna heading towards Zion and Xion, and noticed Axqua, Ziio, and even Ovan in the crowd of recruits. He made his way to Axqua. "Been a while, Axqua. And I almost didn't recognize you. How long has it been since the last time we met?"

As Cody made small talk with Axqua, Ghost trailed slightly behind him, listening in to the conversation and made a note that he's interacted with the woman before. She would ask the woman about Cody later, after deciding to raid the mountain of cookies on a nearby table.

Luna giggled as Zion asked about Cody, snuggling her head against Xion as she played with her hair. "He's improving" Luna replied in a bubbly tone, "Slowly but surely, he's becoming less of a soldier and more of a person. We managed to cuddle just before he had to go dormant once again." She looked over to Ghost, who was happily munching on some 'liberated' chocolate chip cookies. "But all that progress might come to a crashing end, now that she's here..."
