Do you think we will get a new trailer at E3 2014? As in, a full blown trailer?

Featured Replies

I sure hope so.  Although, I don't really expect a trailer that lasts longer than 3 minutes.

Ooh, you almost got me, too. Nice try.

Even a 1 minute trailer would satisfy me. o.o

As long as it's 100% new footage, we get what Sora's new costume looks like, and we see someone else besides Sora, Donald, or Goofy. I WANNA SEE A NEW FACE.

When they actuallyhave a trailer that has some revealers about the plot, then i'll be really happy.

First of all, DO NOT name your topic so that people will open it thinking they are going to see a new trailer. It's very misleading.

Second, it's most likely that we will get one at this year's Jump Festa in December.

we might get some new info and/or some small gameplay clips, but I highly doubt we're getting a trailer...That would mean they already started the JP voice acting, since every single KH trailer has had voiced scenes so far, and they're not even CLOSE to the point of recording voices yet. It would be a miracle if they were able to pull off a full blown trailer next year.

Doesn't have to have voices yet, just more footage than we've had so far. Voice work will probably begin work at some point in the next year or so. And to think there are actually people out there who think that the game is coming out next year.....the poor souls...pity them.

True. and lmao. It's literally impossible for that to happen unless they spend their whole bank by quadrupling the amount of people that work on it. Such an impossibility...The graphics are going to be insane since Nomura literally said they're going to make them way better than what was shown in the previous clip. And I quote "The graphics shown are far from what the team would be satisfied with for the final product." FAR?! And I thought it already looked really amazing...It's going to be freaking incredible. It sounds like they're going to strive for a CGI look, if not better. Shit is going to take time. I don't know how people think working on a game of this humongous magnitude can be done in only one freaking year. Sure they said they have been "working" on it since 2010, but almost all of their efforts were to finish KH 3D during that time, so they only just now started really working on KH3 this year.

Actually, Nomura said that he wasn't aiming to make the in-game graphics look like the CGI scenes in previous games. Whether that means he wants something close to that or something better is anyone's guess though.

If the gameplay was like CGI Then what would the CGI cutscenes look like? o.o

Hmm...I guess only time will tell.

It looks close though. I could understand if he didn't want them as good as CGI because the game would take a century and a lifetime to create.

Well that and trying to make game-play graphics look like pre-rendered graphics is like trying to chase your shadow if it was in front of you, it will never end. No matter how close they get to looking like CGI cutscenes, the actual CGI cutscenes will look ten times better, to the point where the the in-game models will look close to realistic and the CGI models look so realistic that it's freaking scary. Either that or virtual reality will FINALLY be executed correctly and real models and highest end graphics will already be a common variety.
