If Kingdom Hearts didn't have worlds.

Posted

Would it be better or worse if they had Kingdom Heats without multiple worlds? It could just be one world. With all the Disney characters in this one section of Earth? It probably wouldn't have anymore Gummi Ship stuff. But, I guess it would mess up the story a bit. =/

The story would completely suck if you had to travel to only one place, unless that place is big enough to fit a whole games worth of stuff and scenery.

Interestingly enough, the fairy tale supposedly based off of real events says that the Realm of Light used to be one giant world. You remember it, right? About how people started to fight over the light and soon the darkness consumed everything. The light from the children were able to rebuild the realm a bit, thus creating separate worlds. They just didn't have enough light to put these fragmented worlds back together again.

i think that they could have the worlds that the sq team invented on their own and a cooler ship, then maybe they could invent more worlds, and make the main character's older, like the age of most of the people they would use in the GOOD ff games, like the age of vaan or something (btw, im talking about sora, riku, kairi, and their corresponding forms/relations)

it would be bad becuz of less variety

Not exactly. Instead of having different worlds, they could just designate a certain segment of the world for it, like countries or continents on Earth.

yes but then it can chancge it and they couldn't add more world in news games, anyways the gummi ship was funny, i had hours of diversion with it (but i couldn't comlete the mission c for for the assault of the dreadnaught TT-TT)

If there was just one big planet, basically the world map would have a different background and there'd be no gummi sections.

Personally I enjoyed KH2s Gummi Missions, so I think it would be worse, unless the removal of gummi missions allowed for an extra world or two.

It would probably be not as interesting and very short.

i know right? But Namine isn't from Sora. She's from Kairi

So what they would be 2 years older (Vaan's only 17 in ffxii)?

The plot wouldn't work. It's always been about that "There are several worlds out there which share one sky and one destiny" thing. And of course Riku's urgent need to leave Destiny Islands, to travel "the worlds outside".

I'm not against the worlds, but I'd be really happy if they put, for example, a Final Fantasy world into the games. Or maybe even two.

Thooough I know, Nomura once said he'd never put a FF world into KH.

if it only had one world i wouldn't play kh at all cuz it would be boring. and they wouldn't have Twilight Town. i luv that world!!!!!

i guess, i dont know, well, older than they are now anyways, except for riku, they are kinda imature, but i am not good at judging this stuff

It'd be alot of walking, i can tell you that much

True that. As someone said before, all the worlds used to be united and filled with light, but then others began to fight for that light and darkness awakened and it led to the world being split. I think it would be nice to see it all united one again or like an awesome cutscene for it xD

Well, anyway I like it how it is right now with the different worlds because it just goes well with the story and closing doors and opening doors to new worlds, etc.
