Hey there everyone, how's it going?  You know, yesterday I got my November issue of Game Informer,(yes, I know, I renewed my subscription later than usual, lmao.) and as I was flipping through the pages, something caught my eye.  I could have sworn that I saw Theaterhythm: Kingdom Hearts, but in the end it was my mind playing tricks on me, lol. xD  But anyways, back to the topic at hand, Square will release a sequel to Theathrhythm called Theatrhythm- Final Fantasy: Curtain Call.  The game boasts an impressive 200 songs from the series, including songs from Lighting Returns and from Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and also the game boasts over 60 characters.  Impressive huh? :O.  I for one, am looking forward to this game, and I need to get the first Theatrhythm so I can get attuned to the gameplay, lol.  Anyways, it hasn't been confirmed for the states yet, but given the succes of the first, this sequel should make its way to our shores.  Here's the link for more info. :)

A Note to the mods, if there's already a topic discussing this game, then I apologize for the trouble, but I hope this topic can remain here as it is.  Thank you for your time. ^_^

This was announced at Tokyo Game Show.

And people say Kingdom Hearts' spin-off games are bad.

That is something I'll never understand.  Apparently, if it's not a numbered title, casual fans label the spin offs as unecessary when in fact those same spin offs are what links the story together.  I'll be laughing when casual KH fans are like: "Wtf is this?  Who's the old guy?  Why does Roxas have a double!?"  Lol, but oh well, back on topic though, I didn't pay much attention to the first Theatrhythm, but looking at how this sequel looks, I'm actually willing to buy the first and second games.  Talk about a mind changer. xD

Indeed. Prequels and sequels aren't spin-offs. Games like Theatrythm, Dissidia and x[chi] are spin-offs.

The announced Theatrhythm is just an improved edition of the first one not a new game

Think of it like Super Street Fighter 4

This game is the only game that I regretted buying it after one week of playing it...

Well Dissidia is somewhat a prequel of Final Fantasy I.
