Wii U Sells 340% More Consoles In November Compared to October

Posted

Nintendo has sold about 230,000 Wii U consoles in the U.S. in November, according to a “reliable industry source.” Despite not mentioning how many units it sold during the month, Nintendo said in a recent press release that Wii U hardware sales increased by over 340 percent compared to October. November saw the release of the Wii U-exclusive Super Mario 3D World, which sold more than 215,000 units in its first eight days on the market.

That's actually great to hear!  Good for the Wii U (:

My, my! The Wii U is actually doing well in sales. Isn't that nice?

Let's hope I can get one. :/

230,000 isn't that good, especally which it won't be selling nearly that much post-black friday.

Nintendo's targeted goal was to sell 9.5 million units by end of March. They're not even gonna get half that number at this rate.

People start christmas shopping around November.  Wii U is the cheapest of the new generation, thus the more affordable gift for people who play games.

Caity's right on the money. Nintendo's console's always the cheapest.

And people denied that the upcoming games like 3D World would boost Wii U sales. Time to pull this one out.
