Restart after height mess up

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, its me again with an update on my weight loss and muscle journey. If you read my last post, youd read that I finally reached my 60 pound weight goal and was about to go into muscle training. Two weeks into my muscle training, I had a physical scheduled and, having not seen my doctor in almost a year, was excited to see her face when she saw how much I lost. All was weel and good but one thing struck in particular. She said the last time we visited, my height got into a mixup and I was actually 3 inches shorter that I thought (5'8). I wasn't all that particular about it until she explained I would have to lose more weight than what I had lost. Let me explain: For a guy whos 5'11 target weight should be from early 170s to early 180s. But for someone at 5'8 (my current correct height), I need to be atleast late 150s to mid 160s. You can see my problem. However, after losing 60 pounds another 10 or 15 wouldn't kill me. I currently weigh 171.8 and plan to hit 158 (or maybe 160 or 163 if I feel comfortable with it). After that I will resume muscle training and come back to give you guys another update. Til then, wish me luck once again.

I'm a similar height, although my weight has never quite gotten that high. Losing 10 or so pounds isn't too terrible difficult, though, especially after what you lost already. Hope the best for you, man.

I'm 5'10, and weigh * explicit content removed by FBI order*, so i guess i could lose a few.

If I could do it after putting it off for so long, I know that you could probably do it.
