It's not. XIII-2 cost over $100 in some stores at launch.

Holy shit.....shouldn't games be 60$ and below in all territories or is it because of import costs that they double the price

I can buy two or three Ps3 games with those 100$ that they charge for one game.

Man the pricing in Australia is unfair

Nope. Nothing to do with imports.

It's sad though because I purchased XIII-2 brand new for only $15 earlier this year.

We get paid a higher minimum wage than in any other country and our dollar is high. I think that's why. I don't have a job -yet- but I can save up 300 in a few months.

Our dollar actually isn't high at the moment, it's pretty low considering it used to be worth 10 cents more than the U.S dollar.

But the dollar has nothing to do with the cost since we've gone through being well above parity with the U.S dollar and well below.

Well, I really don't know.

Australian's prices are higher because the bulk get paid more for the same jobs (cause the cost of living is so expensive).  It evens out really.

We get paid less, the cost of living is less (and games seem cheaper).

79.95AUS$ converted to my currency is £43.65, which is just £3.67 above the actual price of the game here
