Lea should dual wield in 3 and others

Posted

i mean he could he has his key and sora could give him bond of the flame(since its his anyway), he used two weapons when he was a nobody. mickey should with star seeker (if yin sid doesn't join the fray) and kingdom key d. riku with oblivion and way to the dawn. kairi  with oathkeeper and destiny's embrace. maybe it could be an ability when you beat the game or for cretin bosses or fights in the game

Sora can't give him the bond of flame. Sora doesn't get new keyblades, he gets new keychains that alter the appearance and stats of the keyblade

It's bc of keychains which are based off experiences, connections, and memories you experience.

You can use one keyblade per wielders heart at one time. Roxas and Sora both dual wield bc Ven's heart was inside of them . Lea's chackrams are still one weapon that he uses in pairs but he can also c

ok, ok.....i get what your saying now about the ven's key thing and stuff but i now have new questions: when did sora give riku oblivion, when was it said that it was ven key that he was using bc i thought it was bc he has ven's hearts and he also had a key, and is star seeker yen sid's keyblade and there is a follow up the that one depending you answer. and it still can happen as a stupid ability after you be the game like in day you can play as sora, donald, and goofy

ya mind retyping that?

I don't really understand this question?

This is where the ultimanias become your best friend, nomura has gone on record to say that Sora's ability to dual wield is because of ven's heart. And I am basing sora lending Riku oblivion based on the opening in 3d. And foremost, i have already explained that sora and mickey share the keyblade star seeker because of their shared experience of meeting Yen Sid. playing as secret characters is completely different from giving people non-canon abilities. Though I guess that can be reversed *shudderss* mecha-naruto

Oh so you are the source of him asking when Sora gave Riku Oblivion . I thought he was confusing that with Roxas . Anyways , Nomura also said the DDD opening wasnt canon - it's more symbolic.  I don't think he understands Yen Sid does have the Star Seeker keyblade but what Sora gets is the keychain represented by it bc of his connections, memories and experiences

In summary:

Sora and Roxas can duel wield.  Sora can duel wield because he borrows Ven's, who's heart is inside him.  Roxas is his nobody and can duel wield as well because of this.

The appearance of the keyblades are made with keychains, multiple people can have the same key chain so it would look like two people have the same keyblade when in fact they are both using a key chain that makes their own individual keyblade look the same as someone else's who's also using that key chain.

For any of the others to duel wield, someone who can wield a keyblade has to go inside their heart.

And back to the topic at hand.  Duel wielding was meant to be a cool unique feature and to have every one using it would just be overkill.

But anyways can Roxas use a Keyblade without using Sora's?

Yes. If he became his own person, with his own heart, as is possible according to 3D, and if his own heart was strong enough, then whatever Keyblade he uses if/when he comes back will be his own, Not Sora's, not Ven's, his.

Off topic, I'm never sure if Kingdom Key D is a Keyblade or just a key chain. I mean, we never see Mickey use it and Star Seeker at the same time, but are key chains from the RoD even compatible with Keyblades from the RoL?

It's a keyblade :

Xehanort's Report VI Aqua obtains Xehanort's Report VI after defeating Maleficent at Enchanted Dominion. There are three families of Keyblades: the Keyblades of light we wield, Keyblades of darkness, and Keyblades of heart. The first and second families differ only in origin; Keyblades of darkness are found in the realm of darkness, and are counterparts to the Keyblades we use in the realm of light. The third type of key, the Keyblade of heart, came into existence when the World was reorganized after the Keyblade War. Without this key, Kingdom Hearts is forever beyond a person's reach. Only by gathering seven hearts of pure light--hearts completely devoid of darkness--may one forge a Keyblade of heart and open the door to Kingdom Hearts. And, as stated before, opening this door arguably gives that person control over all worlds and all people.

So... Can Mickey Dual Wield? I mean, if he has two separate Keyblades...

I don't think so - maybe when the kingdom key D chose him he no longer wields the other keyblade. There hasn't been much said on this at all except that no one has seen Mickey wield both ever since.I guess it's not said ...lol

I meant to say both ..Freaking typos ugh .

But we have seen him use the Star Seeker since. In Re:Coded, remember?

But that could be a keychain like Sora's though so it doesn't count .I think it's hard to say until we know more on this subject since so little has been said.He has soo many ties to Yen Sid we cannot rule that out xD.  This subject has been kinda untouched upon so anything is possible since it's from a different realm .We just don't know.

So once again that brings up the issue of Keyblades from one realm being compatible with key chains from another, so it could easily be that Kingdom Key D is the key chain. Perhaps it modifies Mickeys Keyblade into one from the RoD?

O^ full circle, get it?

Honestly, so little has been said on this subject it's hard to say . We are just going by what little info is given . What if you can wield keyblades from different realms but only one at a time ? It's up in the air .. The report from Xehanort says it's a keyblade but what if you CAN dual wield in a way if they are from different realms? Just not at the same time ? Like the exception of the rule bc of circumstances ...

Confusing right?

definitely.

Only the keyblades themselves are realm aligned not the keychains. A keychains are merely based on the memory of the individual which manifest in different keyblade forms. A keyblade from the RoD with a Star Seeker keychain is still a keblade from the RoD.

That makes sense like i mentioned before but since little has been said we are wondering the logistics of this . It's never been talked about to know for sure xD

I know I was backing up your point. Plus I'm pretty sure the Star Seeker Mickey was using was one he borrowed from Yen Said. After that its like you said a keychain on Kingdom Key D.

But if, like you said, it remains aligned with the same realm, not matter the Keychain, the the KKD couldn't have worked with Sora's Keyblade to seal the DtD because that needed to be done with Keyblades from both realms. That's the whole reason Mickey left to find one in the first place.

Yes I know silly. I'm just saying I find this subject fascinating for that reason . A kingdom key D keyblade with a star seeker keychain makes the most sense.

He was agreeing that the kingdom key D could've had the star seeker keychain  during Coded bc of his connections, memories, and experiences with Yen Sid bc it doesnt/might not matter what realm a keyblade came from when it comes to keychains.

If Mickey had the key of the RoD and Sora the key from the RoL how would it not have worked.

Well I'm sorry but how is Darkness neutral? It seems to consume a person's heart when used too much or is used by evil while Light has none of these side effects. And the Keyblade of Heart can only be opened by PHoL. Can there even be a chance of this Keyblade even being created by PHoD (Pure Hearts of Darkness) or what?

Too much of anything is bad .Look at Eraqus for example . But it's about balancing more than say neutrality according to KH lore.  As for the keyblade mentioned above obviously not if it requires only the PoH's hearts.
