A friend recommended Yakitate! Japan to me a while ago, and I just finished watching the anime. It was very amusing ^^

Dragon Ball Z was released in the late 90's. Dragon Ball was released last decade.

 

Dragon Ball Z has been edited so many times its not funny.

 

And you should really watch them Re Mastered.

Dragonball is older than DBZ, there's stuff and innuendos in that that can't be shown in DBZ because the whole cartoons for kids and no innuendos that happened after the end of DB, and DB looks a lot older, but DBGT kicks both their asses (Pan is epic, it cannot be denied.)

i've sseen some but honestly, meh. a lot of them are Meh. if it hasa good story an animation, then yeha but thats rare.
