Would KH even and exist?

I'm just wonderin' because.....Well I don't know why I was wondering.

And if it did exist would you even like it?

For me probably not.

It would be less childish for sure.But i don't know how much different the storyline would be neither if i liked it more.

It wouldn't have had as much publicity probably, without Disney to back them upMaybe it would've just been another Final Fantasy spin-off but with the Kingdom Hearts characters, like The 4 Heroes of Light, Final Fantasy Tactics, etc.But this is all speculation

Without Disney, it would probably be another Final Fantasy game. I doubt I would've gotten into it when I did, since it was a Disney-loving relative of mine who introduced it to me.

Probably I would have never liked the first game when my cousin brought it over and played it on my TV the day it came out. And I would have never gotten into the series to the point where I probably wouldn't have heard of other video games and never watched some Disney movies, like Tron and Hunchback of Notre Dame. And then I wouldn't have own a PS3 or a PSP and then I would just simply never been the gamer I am today. So yeah, Kingdom Hearts really has changed my life.

I doubt it would have considering that they concluded that only a game with Disney characters could compete against Mario

Exactly. Somebody even said "The only way you could do it is with characters that are as well known as Disney's". That really stuck in my head, so when I heard we could be working with Disney characters, I naturally jumped at the chance.

 

And, I probably wouldn't have got into the series.  It was the Disney aspect that got me to actually pick up the game and the series itself that got me into gaming.

This. I wouldn't be nearly as interested in KH if there was no Disney. It is one of the biggest selling points to me that there's this connected universe of Disney characters (that interact with Final Fantasy characters).

 

As far as story goes, I imagine the Disney 'worlds' would be replaced by original worlds filled with generic JRPG alien planets you've see in the likes of in Star Ocean or Rogue Galaxy, which I'm not as fond of as this. Not to say those games are bad, they're not, but Disney makes KH stand out to me as something (ironically) original comparatively.

Probably, but, what if it had no Disney or Final Fantasy in it?

Well it would just be Sora and the others ,original KH characters ,going into the same storyline probably without the seven pure hearts of Light ....
