So out of all the rivals in the Pokemon games who do you consider to be the best Pokemon rival? For me it's decfinitely Blue from Pokemon Red/Blue. Not only was he a really nice, and fun rival to battle with. I really liked how he actually learned from his mistake towards the end of Pokemon Red/Blue. His character developement was well executed imo. Plus his main theme and Pokemon Champion theme are one of the best Pokemkon music I've heard.  I was really glad to see him back in Black/White 2 as well as his champion theme.

 

Though Cheren and  from Pokemon Black/Wite comes to a close second for me because his character development was brilliant as well. He went from bring determined to being the strongest Pokemon Trainer to realuzing that being the strongest doesn't mean much.

N from Black and White 1

 

(before anyone says anything,Cherin and Bianca are not your true rival in the game....even Cherin doesn't strive to be your rival any longer)

 

He's on your tail everywhere and he'll do anything he can to become the champion and build the ideal world he seeks

 

And that epic.....EPIC moment when you finally reach Alder....only to find that N beat you to him and became the champion of Unova

 

Then N's castle came out of the ground....HOOLY SHIT

 

That honestly took me by a surprise as I always...ALWAYS expected  a Pokemon game to end with the Elite Four and the champion

 

Then you find out that two challenges awaits you even after beating the Elite Four.......N and Team Plasma's true boss Ghetsis as the final boss of the game

 

And you HAVE to summon your legendary dragon(ReshiramZekrom) and you have to use it if you want to win.....it's just epic.....EPIC I SAY

 

It's hands down my favorite moment of any Pokemon game because it surprised me and I was a little bit dissapointed that Team Flare in XY is nothing compared to Team Plasma

 

N in my opinion is the best rival character in any Pokemon game

 

His team is diverse and changes as you progress unlike previous rivals....he gets more and more challenging as you progress and he has(unlike most rivals) a backstory that's actually very sad for a Pokemon game....let alone for a Nintendo character

 

N is a badass

To me its a tie between Blue, N and Silver.

I'd have to say Silver. He had a lot of development for a character in an earlier game.

Definitely Silver, especially after learning about what he had to go through as a child, what with Giovanni being his dad and all. And yet, he's still able to redeem himself in the end. That, and he cleared Victory Road of trainers before you go in. Seriously, I hate Victory Rode. Anything that makes going through there quicker and easier is fine by me.

TBH all the rivals are awesome though. Espesally Bianca and Berry, they make me laugh.

Hue because, unlike all of the other rivals, he actually has a really unique battle theme.

I say Green/Gary was.

 

But N's story is more deep an dark and ACTUALLY he gains a legendary pokemon which make it a lot diferent if u compare him to the rest if the rivals.
