You awake for the first time. You try to recall what has brought you here, but nothing comes to mind. You see others around you, also waking up for the first time. Confused, you sit up as a voice echoes all around you.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Boys and Girls,

Welcome to the Amnesia Games!

You have been allowed to remember three things

Your name

Your goal in life

And your skills in combat

And some of you don't even have one of those!

I have brought you here

From all over the omniverse

You each have an interesting story

But none of you know it

Because I have taken your memories

And the only way to get them back

Is to play my little game

So have fun

I'll be in touch

And the voice goes silent.

Mission 1: Interact with each other! Find out everybody else's name. One memory will go to each group at the end of the mission.

Renton 'Ren' Kisaragi, Neena Mors, Switch, and Noah Himitsu awake in a dense forest.

Walter Evergreen, Joshua Akira, Dom Locke, and Bronshu Wes awake near a bubbling spring in a flower meadow.

Morgan Etiam Vinctum, Mes Orem, Wolf, and Rexon Wrexx awake in a desert, sand blowing and sun shining.

Sylar awakes at a snow-covered mountaintop, all alone.

Dom kept silent as Kelly reacted to her revived memory. Dom knew rather definitely that she sucked at situations like this, so let Walter try to help Kelly. She was about to second Ryonne's call for action when she felt something wet on her lips. She reached up and found a tear trail from her uncovered eye.

"Blast." She thought. "I'm reacting to Kelly's pain. I'm missing someone too."

Dom quickly wiped the tear away and stood up.

"Like the man said, we'd better get moving before we get our mission for the day." She said to ever one as she bondled a few food items for the road.

Unexpectedly, at least to herself, Dom placed a hand on Kelly's shoulder.

"You'll find him." She said quietly before moving on.

"well looks like the Lone - soldier is human after all... hehehe." Auron said with a sarcastic face. He then took a portion of food, looking for a place to eat. "So where ... munch munch...are we heading now?" He asked to Mes.

"Shut it or I'll hang you by your toes from the coconut tree over there." Derik plainly said, continuing to suck on the hard candy. He was actually in an oddly pleasent mood, even with all that was holding him back.

Taking a few bites of an apple, Rexon swallows wholeheartedly.  He listens in on Derik replying to Auron.  Swallowing hard on another piece, Rex thinks:  That's a little harsh.

Mes watched Derik become a child before her very eyes. She couldn't help but smile and laugh, not in a rude manner, but rather a joyful one. "Looks like soldier boy has a weakness after all!" Mes said, grinning ear to ear. Her tone wasn't in the least bit sarcastic. Then the voice came in.

Now that you've all enjoyed some breakfast

We can move along with the tasks!

To get it started

I want all of you to keep moving towards the mountain

However, I've prepared a little scavenger hunt of sorts

There are three pieces of a sword hidden about

A hilt, a blade, and a tip

The three people to lay their eyes on them first

Will be in for one heck of a ride

So get going!

Mission: Find the pieces of the broken sword as you move towards the mountain!

"Whatever." Sylar waved nonchalantly at Isaac. "Some popcorn and TV will be enough for me." He said, flicking his wrist. In the kitchen, some popcorn hopped into the microwave, and in the main room, the television came to life, showcasing the meadow group. Sylar smiled, waiting for Lira to weave her magic.

Kelly laughed at the voice. "You want a tip? I have a tip for ya, let me know who the heck I am or your be sorry." Kelly replied to the voice. Kelly then got up and looked around the area. "So how do we find the sword pieces?" Kelly asked aloud.

Harry looked over at Mes. "Hey, everybody has some weakness that make them seem human. Just like how you have a weakness when I goof around with you." Harry said with a smile.

Figuring his stuff was done by now, Bronshu went and got his food.  Sitting at his spot, he gazes at the food, like he was mesmerized and worshipped it.  Smacking his lips, he says:  "Now for the action thrill!"  Picking up a piece of bacon, he stops halfway to the mouth when he heard the voice.  Frowning majorly depressed, he mutters: "But utututututututututututututterututututututututututuhhh I didn't get a single bite!"  Diaosr:  "Then you better hurry up before heading out."  Bronshu:  "Good idea Diasor!"  Diasor:  "But I was jok..."  That's all Diasor could say before Bronshu starts demolishing his food, throwing, furiously biting, and face planting his face all in it.  At a loss for words, Diasor finally says:  "................I don't know where to begin."  Gulping down the nearest drink, Bronshu  lets out a huge belch, satisfied with his meal.  Upon hearing Kelly's question, Bronshu replies:  "Don't know, doesn't matter.  If it means getting more memories, I'm going to find one of them."  With that, Bronshu hops on his feet and dashes towards the mountain.  Searching for a piece along the way, he thinks:  I got to find out more on my sisters' necklace and what I did before coming here.

Rexon was drinking some coconut milk when he heard the voice.  Putting it down, he thinks:  Scavenger hunt for sword pieces?  Sounds like fun.  And if it means remembering what I saw before, then I'm game.  Rex stands up and runs towards the mountain at a steady pace.

"Yeah, and yours is that fire can't harm me, bitch." Derik remarked back, the candy finally dissipating in his mouth, he stood up and looked at the mountain. "Not waiting for you slow pokes." He muttered, walking off. He wasn't in a sense away from the group as he headed in the direction of mountain, since it was their goal anyway. It all depended on when they got themselves in gear.

Kelly was looking all over for a piece of the sword. "I have to find something, I need to remember more about Horizont." Kelly kept telling herself. She was already far ahead from her group when she noticed how far she had gotten. She was about to turn back when she had a vision flash through her head. The vision was of a puddle of water nearby a tree. She noticed that it wasn't too far from where she was standing. She walked over to it and noticed something shining in the puddle. She grabbed the object and noticed that it was the tip of the sword. "Well, that's convenient. Looks like I have a power to find things." Kelly told herself aloud. She then screamed at the voice, "HEY VOICE! I found the tip of the sword! Now what?" Kelly asked.

Robert smiled when he heard the announcer give them their latest mission. Last night, he'd been pondering how to survive, and came up with a strategy. It seemed that he and the others were in some sort of big game, and likely had plenty of spectators. If he kept himself in the middle of the action and made interesting choices, the audience might grow to like him, and the people in charge will be more likely to keep him alive. Not only that, but the more he accomplished, the more memories he'd receive. Thus, he decided to try his best to find one of the sword pieces. "All right," he said, "I don't know about you guys, but I'm gonna get going towards the mountain." Robert then grabbed some extra food, and walked off, not bothering to see if anyone decided to follow.

Blank was secretly standing outside the house listening in on Sylar and Isaac while the two of them talked with each other. He had left the cabin just over twelve minutes ago, but decided it might prove strategic to listen in on his comrades. After all, he needed to learn more about his allys, particularly what they were like when they didn't know Blank was around. After Sylar mentioned something about popcorn, Blank decided to leave to challenge the forest group. Other than that his ally's seemed to like calling him Robocop for some reason, he hadn't really learned much.

Edited by Xigboss

"Fine by me. Let me know what happened at Lira's show when I get back." Isaac smirked, walking out the door. He bypassed Blank, glancing at him, but giving him little further acknowledgement. "I presume you overheard the conversation. Don't overdo anything in the forest group, by the way, Lira needs to get to know the memories of every group." He walked away after, heading to the desert.Joshua rushed back into the camp setup in the meadow after hearing Ryonne, already going to leave. He went over to the food, and as no one seemed to be eating anymore, began putting different foods in respective baskets that he had just made. He did the sweets and candies first, just to his liking. He would share of course, but he kept anything chocolate or blueberry-flavored at the bottom, to savor. Those were his favorites, after all. He set it down and covered it with a cloth, proceeding on with a basket of meat, of fruits, vegetables, etc. He could only carry so much, though.(...A scavenger hunt.) Noah thought in his head, (It's debatable if we have time to hunt for items when on a mission...hopefully one of us will stumble across it.) He looked to the others in his group, continuing on with what Robert and the voice pointed out. "We really need to get moving. If you're hungry, grab something and go."

Blank kept walking, not even bothering to make eye contact with Isaac. He didn't know why, but for some reason, Blank wanted him to shut up and leave him alone. [strange,] Blank thought, [could this be what it means to dislike someone? No, that's imposable. I'm an android, and androids can't feel emotions. After all, there's no reason to.] After a moment of silence, Blank answered Isaac, "Understood. I will give them a challenge, but won't kill any of them." Blank then increased up his pace and left Isaac behind him.

--Switch pov--

I woke up and almost forgot where I was. Oh yeah…I remember now…Well better not screw up… I sat up stretching my arms then pulled up my mouth mask and put on my goggles. I panicked a little as I searched for my beloved crossbow. Only to find it in my hands… I then got my bag and tied it around my waist. Got my sack full of arrows placed that on my back and grabbed my cross bow. I stuffed a piece of meat into my mouth and walked up to the rest of the group. Head to the mountain? Three pieces…this seems easy…but…with it? Ha… "Okay I'm ready now. Did I make you guys wait?" I said in a slightly deeper tone…

--Wolf pov--

I realized I was awake just staring at the ground. I lifted my head up to see the new people I have join be eating. I got up and took a little bit of food, mostly just a peach however that made me happy enough. The peach wouldn't distract me from my thoughts for long I then sat in a deep thought for awhile. 'Why would these people just trust me so easily...? But I ignored the thought as I finished the peach and distracted my self with the sky… Reading the new task I was trying to find out a easy way to search for these pieces…

Rija grinned at Switch. "Only a little." She said amiably. Neena snorted.

"If you count an extra ten minutes or so a little." Neena said, before moving along the path, following Robert and Noah. Rija rolled her eyes at Neena's back.

"Pay no attention to her. She's a little... nevermind. Anyway, let's get going." Rija said. She pulled out a small ball from her pocket. The soldier tossed it into the air near the remainder of the food. The ball seemed to scan, and take in the remainder of the food. The ball dropped back onto the table where the food had been just moments before. Rija strolled over, picked the small ball back up, grinned back at Switch. "Portable storage machine. Breaks each substance down to the atomic level, and stores it within as energy, then reassembles it when needed." She pocketed the machine, then turned towards the forest where the remainder of the group had been forging ahead."C'mon, we better get goin'. You can tell me your name along the way."

Mes shot a bratty smile back at Derik. "Language." She said in a very slight sing-song voice, being as annoying as possible. She grabbed another peace of raw bacon, and cooked it with her flames, before chowing down. "All things aside, let's head back towards the mountain. Mr. Watcher said the pieces would be along the way." The girl on fire said, starting on her way towards the mountain. She also spotted the newcomer that had awoken. The Watcher had said they were to be trusted, but she didn't trust the Watcher either, so who knew. In any case, she gave him a toothy grin, and shot off over the dunes, towards the white mountaintop in the distance.

The sword piece disappeared from Kelly's hand. Sylar laughed heartily at her expression of disappointment, watching from the TV in the cabin.

Back at the camp, Ryonne noticed Joshua filling up some baskets with the food. Where he got the baskets was anyone's guess, but Ryonne decided to help him. The swordsman walked over, and filled up a couple of the baskets with food as well. When they were done, Ryonne glanced to the young boy, and gave him a look that suggested approval. He mouthed the words, "Don't fear me." Ryonne tore his eyes away from Joshua, his solemn and observant glare back intact. The swordsman grasped his sheathed blade, and nodded towards the hills where Kelly had just ventured off, in the general direction of the mountain. "Let's go." He said, before walking that way himself.

The swordsman grasped his sheathed blade, and nodded towards the hills where Kelly had just ventured off, in the general direction of the mountain. "Let's go." He said, before walking that way himself.
"Your parents did a number on you." Derik replied dryly, contenuing to the mountain. He hardly cared for the scenery or the blade, so he didn't even pay much attention to his surroundings as he just mindlessly martched on at a slow enough pace for everyone to keep up. Brooklyn gathered up the last of the things they had that he were storing and walked on, next to Ryonne. "Since I have to live-in with you all, and you seem to be the unelected unofficial group leader, mind filling me in on everything I should know, or is that not something you do for people who missed out?" Brooklyn asked rhetorically, doubting Ryonne would just withold information for no reason.

Dom gathered together what she could, and putting it into her empty backpack before standing up.

"If we are looking for something, then we'd best spread out." Dom advised. "Try to keep in sight distance of each other, which will be harder in forest terrain, but it will increase our chances of finding this sword and finishing our game master's little event. Expect twists."

With her piece spoken, she headed off to the side to be ready to head up the mountain slightly apart from the main group, but still in sight distance.

Kelly was angry. "VOICE!!!! YOU PUT A DECOY THERE ON PURPOSE DIDNT YOU?!?!?!? WHAT DO YOU TAKE ME FOR? WHAT DO YOU THINK THIS IS A GAME? WHY DONT YOU SHOW YOURSELF TO ME? I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT A TIP OF A SWORD LOOKS LIKE UP CLOSE! AND YOU BETTER TELL ME SOON ABOUT WHO HORIZONT IS OR I WILL FIND YOU AND KILL YOU WITH MY BARE HANDS!!!!!!!!!!" Kelly screamed to the voice angrily.

"That's not helping!" Dom snapped at Kelly. "You are playing into the voice's hands. You are putting on a better show."

Dom walked over to Kelly and spoke in a low tone.

"Keep your anger inside." She whispered. "Use it as fuel to get you through this. We'll get the bastard who's controlling all this, but the only way to do it is to make him or her come to us. You want to find you boyfriend, keep it together."

Kelly looked at Dom madly. "Do you have any idea how mad it makes me not to fully remember the one person that is more important to me than anything else? It feels like I just want to punch through iron just to release my anger. Horizont, there must be so much about him that I don't remember and it is making me mad. I am sure that he remembers me and is trying to find a way to save me, so I bet you that the voice has my boyfriend locked away so he won't be able to get to me, and the same probably goes for everyone else that is important to us." Kelly said.

Dom grabbed Kelly by the collar and pulled her close.

"Do you think you are the only one in the position of half remembering someone important?" She snarled. "Stop thinking your pain is unique, princess. We are all in our own personal hells here."

Dom let go of Kelly's collar and glared for a moment longer, her sightless eyes trying to focus on Kelly's face.

"Control the anger." She said hoarsely. "You let it control you, the voice wins. It's looking for a show. Don't give it to 'em."

Kelly looked mad. "Why should I control my anger when we could just find the voice now and kill the person behind all this already? We could just end this game and get back to those we love and care for. I want to feel real again, I want to feel Horizont." Kelly said with a sad tone in her voice. One could see that she was lost with herself, like she wasn't whole.

Dom crossed her arms and gave Kelly a critical look.

"Not a bad plan." She said. "Now, tell me how we do it? How do we find the voice? How do we keep from being force back into the game by summoned hoards? How do we keep it from using other players against us?"

The stern soldier's gaze softened slightly as she continued speaking.

"If you can find answers to some of these questions, I'm with you. But until then, we can't show our hand. We play the game till the right time when we get an opening."

--Switch--

I watched in amazement as the girl took the ball back. I then checked my bow just in case, clicking open the long ranged extensions. Then turned it back into a short bow. Once she turned around I sighed on the inside, 'Now they totally think I'm useless now…I have to prove myself worthy…' I started walking next to the girl (Rija), "Ah I forgot… My name is Switch. Nice to meet you." I said reaching my hand out slightly for a handshake.

--Wolf--

One of the members of the group noticed me and gave me a wide grin. I didn't want to be too friendly since The Watcher just placed me in their group, a new stranger… Of course I will be suspicious with whatever I do, so my strategy was to do practically nothing that seemed out of the ordinary. I rolled my eyes to myself, I could only try to fit in and protect these people… If it were only that easy...

"The entity in charge wouldn't just come out right away."  Bronshu says to Kelly in a serious tone while walking forward.  When he reaches her, he then speaks:  "Whoever is in control is testing us.  Watching how we deal with each day, wondering how committed each person is, and willing to get a task done, wether that is going at it alone or with others.  If you're wondering how I know that, then it's because I've experienced it.  I've already been through a 'game' that's a lot like this one.  That's how I feel anyway.  And like before, I just have to keep fighting to what I want back.  No matter who gets in my way, or the people I'm with."  With that, Bronshu walks past Kelly and marches to the mountains.

Rexon puts some small fruit away in his pockets before heading out.  Walking at a fast pace like in a hurry, he rushes up to Derik.  When walking past him, Rex says:  "No need to worry about me being slow.  I'm in a little hurry to get something."  Rex keeps walking to the mountain, ignoring the newcomer (Wolf) while moving.

Robert watched in amazement as Rija absorbed all of the food into her small round machine. He was about to ask if she had any spares that she could give him, but decided against it. Instead, he turned towards Switch, "Hello Switch, I'm Robert. Good to have you with us." he said. Meanwhile, he began sorting out what he thought about his companions. [so far Rija seems pretty nice. Neena on the other hand... not so much. Noah seemed all right, although he's not much for conversation. I'm not sure what to make of Ren and Switch yet. Oh well, I'm sure I'll have plenty of time to get to know these people, whether I like it or not.

Blank crouched within a large clump of bushes in between the forest group and the mountain. It wouldn't be long until the group made it to his position. He summoned his tommy gun, and it somehow appeared in his hands. He began patiently awaiting the forest group's arrival, so that he could challenge them.
