You awake for the first time. You try to recall what has brought you here, but nothing comes to mind. You see others around you, also waking up for the first time. Confused, you sit up as a voice echoes all around you.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Boys and Girls,

Welcome to the Amnesia Games!

You have been allowed to remember three things

Your name

Your goal in life

And your skills in combat

And some of you don't even have one of those!

I have brought you here

From all over the omniverse

You each have an interesting story

But none of you know it

Because I have taken your memories

And the only way to get them back

Is to play my little game

So have fun

I'll be in touch

And the voice goes silent.

Mission 1: Interact with each other! Find out everybody else's name. One memory will go to each group at the end of the mission.

Renton 'Ren' Kisaragi, Neena Mors, Switch, and Noah Himitsu awake in a dense forest.

Walter Evergreen, Joshua Akira, Dom Locke, and Bronshu Wes awake near a bubbling spring in a flower meadow.

Morgan Etiam Vinctum, Mes Orem, Wolf, and Rexon Wrexx awake in a desert, sand blowing and sun shining.

Sylar awakes at a snow-covered mountaintop, all alone.

"You guys are so mean." Mes commented ironically. "He's just chilling on this boat." She said, beginning to time him up tight with some rope she found on deck. Right, and under, and over... And tighten. Perfect, no one would escape that anytime soon.

- Drax Omolon -

After some time had passed, and the group started to get acquainted inside the boat, preparing to sail it and all, Drax began to wake up, albeit dizzy and withouth much memory about what the heck he was doing in a place like this, much less on a boat, he sensed some auras around him as well, also noticed the uncomfortable feeling of being tied up, not for long though.

He opened his eyes, revealing his pure blue eye, the Esker eye, as he saw their auras, he couldn't disable them without use of his hands, and doing it with his mind took too long and was too straining, so he let out a small whistle, as Letho soon materialized right at Mes's left shoulder, looking at her for a quick second, in its Spirit eagle form, it flew right at Drax, and began pecking at his ropes, releasing him as he stood up, "So what do we have here...first of all, where the firetruck am I...second of all...who are you people, and third of all, am I gonna have to worry about you all?" He said doing a quick slashing movement with his hands as his Esker eye glew, he attempted to disable they auras, in short, their magic power, in case they tried to attack him, he promtply sat down, without a care in the world for what they would do next.

"Then im doing my job right." Henry said amused at Sylar's angry statement as he saw the girl's attacks, and smilled even more, as he slid with his rock shield, now a snowboard to the right, as he held out his sword, "Conversion!" He said as the sword soon glowed with power, and all dark blades materialized by Sylar, vanished in thing air, and their power being absorbed by Henry's sword, who charged for a second, "Elemental spica" he muttered as he simply thrusted his sword at Sylar's direction, sending out an extremely powerful laser-like attack, which held the power of both Darkness and all elements, it wasn't often he used all his elements in one attack, but those attacks costed quite a bit to do, thankfully he had a myriad of dark blades to help with that, the laser flying at speeds around the speed of light, being extremely hard to one to dodge such attack.

The force of the attack strong enough to send Henry speeding forward in front of the group with his rock shield/snowboard, almost losing balance, that attack had some great ammount of force behind it, blocking would be nearly impossible.

Rija watched the dark blades come towards her with perfect focus, yet still retaining balance as she flew down the cliff. This man would die, she would kill him for threatening her pack. The swords flew at her, but none impacted. The Soldier was a whirl with her husband's katana, deflecting the projectiles as easily as one might swat a fly. Sylar glared down at them, frustrated that they had managed to so easily deflect his counterattack. The Serial Killer noticed Henry's attack, reading it as best he could before it happened, but still no luck. He flew rapidly to the side, effectively sidestepping the main laser, though his arm was caught in the blast, and dissolved into ash. As he cried out in anguish, he clenched his fist, the other dark blades that Henry had sent against him stopped in midair. Sylar took several deep breaths as his arm began to regrow. He needed to retreat and soon. At this point he was nearly immortal with his biokinesis, but he didn't want to lose his temper. The Watcher had carefully warned him not to murder all of them. And the Watcher had threatened to leave him dead should he disobey... And Sylar did not want that.

Neena flew out of nowhere, clad in her dark form's light dress and wielding Aredbhair, she stabbed towards the murderer in midair. Sylar may have been injured and unfocused, but such a careless blow was still a simple thing. He summoned Ryonne's blade, and parried away the lance blow. Then with incredible speed, he knocked the weapon out of Neena's hands, and pulled her towards her. "He said I couldn't murder all of them... But one death isn't so bad right?" He said, his voice sounding less in control than usual, a darker kind of insanity. The Assassin shook her head and as she neared him, lashed out with her feet. She hit him, then kicked downwards. He lost his focus, allowing Neena to regain control of her body. She landed in the avalanche again, but with Caduceus summoned, a platform of ice formed beneath her feet and she began to slide down the mountainside again. She looked up and noticed a considerably sized hole in the mountain right in front of

them, down the slope. "Head there!" She called to the others, setting her own course.

"Not if I can help it!" Sylar's voice boomed again. He threw down his arms, and a large wall materialized in front of the group, blocking their intended escape route. Should they hit the wall and not simulataneously stop the avalanche, death was certain.

With Dom's energy sense, she could quickly understand something. It was quite peculiar, but the readings were definitely correct. The four rock pillars off the cliff were alive, or at least part of something alive. They were unarmed, and not hostile. But not kind either...

Before Dom could explain her findings to the rest of the group, Ryonne realized something. The whispers had stopped, and hadn't been there since the moment Bronshu had yelled. Suddenly, without warning or time to react, all of them were squeezed together and lifted up. Higher and higher they went, through several clouds, to the point that the plateau that they had just been standing on was but a dot. As they rose, the four rock pillars combined in pairs becoming two waists, then two torsos, all the way to the shoulders, and arms, and hands that had lifted them to begin with. And now, right in front of the group, were two huge faces. It was clear on the way up, that despite how odd this was, one of these giants was definitely a woman, and the other a man, and they were dressed in huge stitched together tunics that used the pelts of some of the largest animals ever to exist. Dom was separated from the others, gripped in an entirely different hand from the others. The woman that held her pulled her closer, and moved her like she was examining her.

"Would you check this out George? I found me a human." She said, a small smile beginning to form on her lips. Well, small as a relative term. The man, presumably George, looked in disgust towards his handful of everyone else.

"I see them Martha." He grunted. Nikolai glanced down towards the ground that was far far below, and gulped loudly.

"Hello kind people! We were, uh, just dropping in. Not that you should drop us or anything, but we were just checking out the area. It is very good real estate. By any chance is it up for sale? It's a great area for a nice housing development." Nikolai clammered, his joking nature piercing through his anxiety. George just glared at the Prince, while Martha tittered a bit. Of course, a giant's titter is a far cry from even the largest woman's, making it sound almost like a guffaw in human comparison.

"My, what should we do with them?" Martha asked, tilting her head as if looking at a nice painting.

"I say we crush them under foot." George growled, but he did not do anything yet.

"Oh good, he's up." The Doctor commented, glancing up from his book. "Perhaps he knows how to drive a boat. Because I for one, am certainly not about to let our favorite blacksmith berserker attempt to handle a sailboat like a war robot." He said, looking at the man. He had felt his magic power be drained, but he was not going to show it. That would be giving him leverage that he did not need. Rather, pretending like nothing had affected him at all would be for the best. Meanwhile, Mes was repeatedly snapping her fingers. Finally, she produced a small flame.

"Ha!" She exclaimed cheerfully. The Doctor shook his head. So much for the pretending it didn't work plan...

"As for your questions, we are on a boat. In the middle of  jungle. In the middle of a mystery dimension that we were thrown to just recently, with no memories, and a simple task of reaching that beacon on the mountaintop. Second question, my name is Doctor Pellinore Warthrop, but please refer to me as Doctor. Our evidently poor knot tier and resident arsonist is Mes, the large man with a larger superiority complex than Narcissus is Derik, the dark skinned man who happens to wield a magic house key is Rexon, and the gamer is Auron. Third question, unless you attack us, than no, I think we can be colleagues. Now, a man with proper manners would allow me to ask a question. I am going to go ahead and do so. Do you know how to drive a boat?"

Brooklyn growled. Giants? What's next? A Cenaituar? "...Gods, it doesn't matter..." He thoughts looking at the monster ahead of him. "Might I inquire why, good sir giant, you wish us harm. I would prefer a cup of wine and chat to a brawl today, so, would you be ever so kind as to let us know why?"However, through use of his newfound control over Darkness, he was able to use the shadows to whisper some thoughts to the group out of the Giants' hearing range."If this goes south, no matter what happens, don't move. For the love of god don't move. Even if they try to crush us, don't move. I have a plan."Amidst this, a void portal opened a ways away in the shadow of a hill, just big enough for everyone to fit through in one lump, if so needed."I'm mildly offended by that, Doctor. By both your lack of faith in me and that you think that I'm narcissistic with a superiority complex."Derik walked to the man, his eyes narrowed. "Other than the eerie glow, he doesn't show anything too harmful in those eyes of his- at least directed at us." Without a moment of hesitation, Derik offered his hand. "Dunno what culture you come from, but from where I grew up, a shake of one's hand with the other's shows good will. If we're to work together, as it seems the high-and-mighty Watcher has decided it, anyway, we should start out on good terms."He doubted this attempt to ease the situation would aid much, but he knew he could take a shot or two before the others, and if it worked out beforehand, that would be better. He noticed Mes' struggle to use her fire magic, whatever he did wasn't exactly friendly, as there is just about nothing in this world save a flood that could stop a fire from Mes normally. Reguardless, if he would have to fight the man more or less solo, he would be rather be meat-shielding for his team instead of just doing his best to keep the pressure off of them.

- Henry Hansees -

Henry grit his teeth as Sylar still managed to sidestep his attack, but he was sort of satisfied that it took the man's arm awa, but to quickly regenerate back, seeing neenas's attack following his, was indeed a sight to see, albeit not much damage to Sylar was really done, it didn't matter anyway, as Neena had now pointed an escape route.

But unfortunately Sylar had put up a wall, but fortunately Henry was harder than a hundred walls with Dreadnaught armor on, he quickly threw his left arm up, creating a ramp of earth bellow him, throwing him high in the air as he was close enough, still ahead of the group due to his earlier attack at Sylar, he took advantage, and Jumped right off his snowboard shield gainign some distance even with the dreadnaught armor on, as he quickly dove for the wall blockade, using wind magic to boost his speed and trajectory, and maneuvarebility.

He slammed the walls with a loud crash, and the walls were no more, managing to get into the so called "escape route" in the mountain, as the walls crumbled, allowing the others to go through.

"Heh."

- Drax Omolon -

Drax examined each and every one of them, Mes, Rexon, Auron, Derik, and the Doctor who introduced them all, he decided they weren't enemies, and him and Leth relaxed, the hawk sitting on his right shoulder, "I might have some knowledge of boats, albeit im no expert." He commented, he knew how to sail a boat, but he ddin't remember sailing any boats in his life...'great, memory loss' he thought, and everything else the Doctor explained, was quite much, in fact too much. He had absolutely no memory of past events whatsoever.

Then came Derik, the man who was, a bit bigger than he was, and also had a strong aura, but weakened by his earlier disruption, "Im glad you didn't make a joke about the eyes." he commented with a sarcastic tone, as he was offered a handshake, he undoubtely shaked Derik's hand, "If it is to be then it shall be." he said as he stopped to look at the others, "Name's Drax Omolon, I guess it is a pleasure to meet you all, I dunno" He said as he went to the boat's helm, and sails, Leth taking swift care of hte ropes holding the sails together, releasing them as Drax took the wheel, "Lets get going."

"If it's alright, no crushing please."  Bronshu laughed nervously.  He tried looking around the best he could.  The only thing he could see below were some clouds.  We are really high up.  He thought.  Looking back at George, Bronshu says:  "So, uh, hi there.  Were you two in the middle of something?  If so, then I'm sorry I interrupted.  It was rude of me to shout so carelessly.   So, um, I'm wondering something. Can you please put all of us down gently?  We were in the middle of doing something important.  If that doesn't sound good with you, then how about this?  Put everyone else down and keep a hold of me.  I'm the one who made the disturbance.  They didn't do anything wrong.  Please? I'll do anything you guys want me to."

"I guess you're right."  Rexon responded to Derik.  With Drax up and the Doctor explaining things, Rex says:  "Everything's good here.  There are no problems at all."

The sky appeared to be full of stars.  Well, what looked like stars anyway.  In any case they were magnificent.  Sitting up on the edge of a skyscraper Ranco was watching away.  He hasn't seen such beauty for many years.  He looks down at the city and wasn't as impressed.  At least not on what few monitors he could see.  All the contestants going these games, it didn't feel right with him.  Rancon then stood up just now.  He sensed something in the air and thought:  Is this? Yes, Miss Cordelia is calling for a roundup.  It's best to go meet up with her and the others.  Rexon, be well. Ranco turned away and summoned his keyblade.  He points it forward and a beam comes out.  A corridor of light formed and Ranco stepped on through.

Dom cursed herself for not seeing this sooner. She was generally better up close with her energy sense. She still managed to have her weapon out and still mobile in Martha's hand. She looked up and studied the giant's face with her ocular patch while she used her energy sense to check for more surprises.

"Hello." She said tightly.

She kept her weapon down, but kept her grip on it strong. She needed the Book for this.

"Sorry for trespassing, I guess. Can we go?"

"As much of a pleasure as it can be in this situation, is making your aquaintance" Derik stated quite plainly. "So. We all know what skills we all bring to the table. Rexon and Mes use those Strang key-shaped swords and magic, the good Doctor uses a sword of hard ice and magical beasts from a book, I'm a swordsman thst cuts through just about anything, what's your sthick?" He asked, taking a seat on the floor of the boat.

- Drax Omolon -

"Magical beasts huh?" He said as two spirit wolves materialized around Derik, "Spiritual beasts here." he commented, leaving the helm for a second, as it seemed to hold steady, "My magic...is well, spiritual magic, I think you and many others here noticed that their magic power was cut? specially Mes's, well thats one of my abilities...or rather this thing's" He said pointing at his blue glowing eye, the esker eye, "It allows me to tap into the spirit realm, manipulate auras, summon beasts, infuse myself with spirtiual power, empowering me..." He said pulling out his bow and summoning some arrows, before putting it away, "Im an archer, but also a...Dagger wielder you could say, he said pulling out his twin DImeritium knives, "Both of which absorb magic..." He explained.

Before he vanished and reapeared at the wheel of the boat again, keeping hold of it. "Pretty basic as things go I guess." Drax said as he kept looking forward.

Kyle -

"Geez.. why do these people makes things so.... COMPLICATED! WOOOAH!!" Kyle shouted as the sudden sound of his slider breaking, after this the only thing you couls see was a man rolling down inside the entrance to the cave.

Reiner -

After seeing the two giant colossus in front of him, Reiner couldn´t believe in what his eyes were seeing. He prepared his incantation, mantaining control as Brooklyn tried to channeling energy. What they needed now was to gain time. "Emm at least before crushing us can you tell us our names? you seem like a goody old couple, aren´t you?" He said in a relaxed tone.

Auron -

"Seriously Doc, a gamer? You said so much cool stuff about the others... why just a gamer for my descryption?" Auron muttered as he tried to introduce himself, just before Derik came out, explaining everyone skills.. except.. well.. "I can fight too Derik, you know..." he said in a moody tone, then after taking a deep breath he turned to the newcomer named Drax, but then he dissapeared into the air... appearing in front of the boat taking control of the wheel of it. "Fine... this is not my day... indeed... Well.. it could be worse." Auron said while taking seat at one side of the boat.

Elsewhere -

The nightsky was just a nice sight for the eyeviewers... if only almost everyone were sleeping or seeing the game. That was what Evan thought as he walked around the streets, as he reached a small park in a square corner. Taking a seat in one of the benches he stood looking at the small fountain in the middle of it. "We are just particles of dust, created by the palm of a god. We should have died long before.. but we are here. Does that mean that life it´s just a sad joke?" He muttered as he suddenly felt something... a whisper in the air came into his ears. "So, meeting time again huh?.. well .. I can think about existance later. Hang in there Rex"

He said pulling out his bow and summoning some arrows, before putting it away, "Im an archer, but also a...Dagger wielder you could say, he said pulling out his twin DImeritium knives, "Both of which absorb magic..." He explained. Before he vanished and reapeared at the wheel of the boat again, keeping hold of it. "Pretty basic as things go I guess." Drax said as he kept looking forward.

"Quite lucky for myself then, I don't use any magic. The only thing you may have done is lower the output of my energy sword or temporary dulled my buster sword as theyRe magical in nature. Of course, just like with any team of super-powered magical beings, at least one of them has to the the beefy tank type like myself, though." He commented.

Kyle -"Geez.. why do these people makes things so.... COMPLICATED! WOOOAH!!" Kyle shouted as the sudden sound of his slider breaking, after this the only thing you couls see was a man rolling down inside the entrance to the cave.  Reiner -After seeing the two giant colossus in front of him, Reiner couldn´t believe in what his eyes were seeing. He prepared his incantation, mantaining control as Brooklyn tried to channeling energy. What they needed now was to gain time. "Emm at least before crushing us can you tell us our names? you seem like a goody old couple, aren´t you?" He said in a relaxed tone.  Auron - "Seriously Doc, a gamer? You said so much cool stuff about the others... why just a gamer for my descryption?" Auron muttered as he tried to introduce himself, just before Derik came out, explaining everyone skills.. except.. well.. "I can fight too Derik, you know..." he said in a moody tone, then after taking a deep breath he turned to the newcomer named Drax, but then he dissapeared into the air... appearing in front of the boat taking control of the wheel of it. "Fine... this is not my day... indeed... Well.. it could be worse." Auron said while taking seat at one side of the boat. Elsewhere - The nightsky was just a nice sight for the eyeviewers... if only almost everyone were sleeping or seeing the game.

"Honestly, I feel like I droll on a bit much at times, I just explained the general stuff instead of explaining how you fight because I don't quite understand it myself. I do apologize, Auron." Derik made it a point to say.

"Quite lucky for myself then, I don't use any magic. The only thing you may have done is lower the output of my energy sword or temporary dulled my buster sword as theyRe magical in nature. Of course, just like with any team of super-powered magical beings, at least one of them has to the the beefy tank type like myself, though." He commented."Honestly, I feel like I droll on a bit much at times, I just explained the general stuff instead of explaining how you fight because I don't quite understand it myself. I do apologize, Auron." Derik made it a point to say.

"Well that´s a good point. I never had the chance to explain it." Auron said as he lost himself in his thoughts for a moment. HE realized that until that time everyone in his team has, in some way or another explained what was their fighting style, Even the quiet Doctor had said something about it. If their allies didn´t knew how his tools worked, then it could be a big mistake, one that could cost them later in the Game.

"I am sorry as well, Derik. I am complaining but I never explained how I fight before. Here let me show you." Auron said as he pulled out a few pins a cards from his bags in his pants. "I don´t remember how I got these before, I don´t know if these are made of magic or technology (I never tried to break one to find it out). What I now it´s that.. " He said as he touched the image in the pin, after a glimpse of light it turned into his game device. "These pins has certain effects over the commands I introduce on this game-device. Usuall takes little to no time, but for more powerful attacks, I need to imput a long command, think of it as a laser. The more potence it has the more time it need to charge and recharge." He finished as the showed the cards.

"Thats when these enters in scene. Cards allow me to use the image pictured on these and call it out. As far as I see these are element-type attacks like when we tested your coat resistance, or weapons like swords, but only for a brief period of time each before fading away. I have many and when these are done, they will recharge and reappear, but in a certain amount of time. In resume I´m like a long-range combat type." Auron finished as he dismissed his items, pulling them inside his pockets again. "I hope this explains a lot more.. and be useful in many more strategies in the next battles."

{Terranort}

Terry climbed up a fire escape to meet with the others.

"This is unwise." He stated as he came up on Cordelia. "We were lucky last time. We might not be so lucky if we continue."

Though he said this, Terry knew well enough that even with this in mind, he was here. He'd risk everything he had to save her.

Neena slid right into the cave behind Kyle and Henry, her own board dissolving beneath her feet as she dismissed it. She couldn't help but smile watching the stupid keyblade wielder hurt himself because he didn't know how to snowboard. He'd be fine, wielders had far more durability than that. The Assassin stood up to her full height and turned back to look for Rija and Sylar. Rija slid to a halt right in front of the cave entrance, her new sword still gleaming in the sunlight while she held it. Her eyes had lost the gentle control they once had, but they were still fiercely compassionate and caring. Rija looked to the cave, and nodded emphatically. This was good, her pack was safe. But she would not let the predator stay alive. She turned back around, and stared daggers into Sylar, who was landing in front of her. Now, they stood in a stand off just in front of the cave entrance, with Henry, Kyle, and Neena just inside watching. The avalanche was still roaring downwards, but it seemed slower. Sylar was staving it off. The Serial Killer made eye contact with the Den Mother, and smiled in that cruel malicious way of his.

"Oh, feeling strong with that shiny sword of yours?" Sylar laughed, summoning Ryonne's blade to his hands, and his wings flapped slightly, creating a soft breeze around him. Rija didn't reply, just charged forward, blade flashing. She was stronger, faster than before Sylar noted. He was forced to take the swordplay seriously, using Ryonne's speed to keep him ahead of her blows. But still, she was consistent and precise, leaving little room for a counterattack. Neena stood watching from the cave entrance, conflicted. She wanted to help, but she didn't want to get in the way. What she really wanted most of all, was for Rija to get her butt in the cave and away from Sylar. Faster than the Assassin could react, Sylar broke the standstill by summoning a dark blade out of nowhere and shooting it into her gut. Rija staggered back a bit, her eyes glinting with rage, she was about to charge once more, but Sylar had gained the time he had needed. He thrust his hand forward, and held her with a telekinetic grasp. "I wonder what kind of fun I can have with this playtoy?" He mocked loudly, before vanishing in a swirl of darkness, Rija following.

"No!" Neena called, but she was helpless. The Assassin was about to pursue regardless, when the avalanche, free of Sylar's limitation, crashed into the entrance. Neena was thrown backward by the force of the snow, and hit the back wall of the cave. She grunted, and put her head down. Another comrade down... It had been so long, and so many were gone now...

Next to her lay an unconscious Kirin Lei, but she took no notice of him. The cave they were in had a small lobby area that they were currently in, and on the left side there was a dark passage. The only reason they could see right now were some small holes in the rock wall over by the entrance that were fortunately not covered by snow.

George growled at the people in his hand, their words clearly having no effect on his opinion of them all. Martha next to him, on the other hand, smiled wider.

"Aw, they're all so nice! And don't worry little one," The giantess said to Bronshu. "You weren't interrupting anything. And it's always a pleasure to see new people. George, please don't be so rude to our guests," She complimented, followed by a scolding of George. George shook his head.

"You can't trust humans, you know that Martha." The giant man countered. Ryonne looked between the two of them... He didn't like the way this was looking. Martha, as her name seemed to be, apparently was a fan of humans, but George hated them. And considering it sounded like they had been arguing, Ryonne didn't want to be in the middle of a dispute between them. Fortunately, Brooklyn had given them an escape, but hopefully it wouldn't come to that. This might still end nicely. Martha looked towards Reiner, and smiled at him.

"You're right, we're an old couple. Yesterday was our 2359th anniversary. And George forgot, again." She glanced to him and scowled, but he paid her no attention, his eyes completely set on the group. Kinzoku giggled at Martha's words. She seemed the most comfortable out of all of them, despite being squeezed tightly by every guy in the group.

"My mother had to deal with that every year too. She said that not giving them dinner the night before helps remind stupid men." She commented, giving marriage advice to a giant as naturally as she would a treasured friend. Martha's eyes lit up, and it seemed like she was about to talk some more when George spoke up again, when he stared directly at Brooklyn and began instead.

"I could tell you why I hate humans so much... Or I could crush you now, and hope that will teach future humans never to be near me." He threatened, but didn't follow through on anything. Martha huffed loudly, and moved Dom to the side. She let go of the woman, right over a cloud. Miraculously, instead of falling straight through like she should, she landed on the cloud like it was a stable platform.

"Don't worry little woman, I'll do much better than just letting you go." Martha said mysteriously, before turning her body completely to face George. "George, that was a 1000 years ago! Humans have changed much since then! Surely they've learned. And these ones aren't the same as the ones that did that terrible thing to us all that time ago. You should treat them just like us. Just smaller."

The Doctor shifted his gaze to Derik and smiled slightly. "Ah yes, you're right, I mistook you for me. Drax, I'm the narcissist, he's the reckless idiot. And forgive me for having no faith in your sailing when you yourself said that you thought it would be like piloting a war robot." He commented. Mes watched Auron's demonstration and smiled widely.

"Wow, that was super cool Auron. You could probably take Derik any day." She said, before looking back to Drax, who she stuck her tongue out. "On the other hand, you're not cool at all. Taking away your friends' magic is about the least cool thing you could've done." She scoffed. Mes looked towards the beacon. "Anyway, I guess it's good that this river takes us towards the beacon. It's really convenient." She said with a slight nod. The Doctor was back into his book, sketching down notes of the wildlife he spotted around them, as well as adding additional details about the cat people they had met the other day.

"I'm afraid it's too convenient. We'd best not let our guard down, we don't know when the next trial will be coming." He said, not taking his eyes off the page.

Cordelia turned rapidly to face Terranort, her face ablaze. She was having none of his criticism, serious or not. She was feeling particularly emotional tonight for whatever reason, and her maternal instinct was flaring. "And what do you suggest we do hmm? Allow our loved ones to battle to the death, risking life and limb for our entertainment? Perhaps you don't feel the same way, but that's my daughter down there, and I refuse to let her feel such pain for such a trivial reason as this." She exclaimed.

"Geez, calm down." Severa said entering the rooftop from the actual building. "Our dear Nort buddy is just meaning that we should take some more precautions, instead of throwing all safety to the wind. After all, we can't do any good if we're all imprisoned ourselves." Severa countered, taking Terranort's side.

"Oh.  Okay then."  Bronshu replied back to Martha.  Hearing about an anniversary he thinks:  Anniversary?  I can't help with that.  Marriage is not something that I'm an expert in.  Seeing Dom being placed on a cloud without falling, Bronshu then thought:  Whoa.  Clouds you can stand on.  I feel like I've seen that somewhere before.  But where did I see it?    Nope.  Can't remember a thing.  That's going to bother me all day.  That is if I live through today.

Rexon blinked twice when Drax warped to the steering wheel of the boat.  "Always something new with each person here."  He said in response.  Hearing the Doctor now, Rex says:  "Now that you mention it, you're right.  It's weird having a boat here ready to go."  Summoning his keyblade, Rex adds on:  "I'll keep my eyes peeled for anything off the starboard bow." and walks to the right side of the boat.

A corridor of light opened up and Ranco exited out of it.  Sending it and his keyblade away he looks at the others who made it here so far.  Cordelia, Severa, and Terranort.  Hearing what's been said so far, Ranco steps forward to interject and says:  "If I may, I wish to speak on something.  Miss Cordelia, it's understandable to be like that.  To see someone you cherish go through such matters is unbearable.  I feel the same way with my student.  But we must remember that they're not alone.  They're with other individuals who're going through the same trials.  As long as they stay together and look after one another they'll make it through.  We must have faith in them while doing our part to help.  But we can't help them if we act out recklessly without a plan.  So please, try to get your composure back.  In the meantime we should wait for our remaining comrades to arrive before planning our next course of action."

"I don't think you're in any position to judge any of us, if I may say, Doctor. And I didn't say it would be like using a mech. I stated it couldn't be much harder than. Which, a sail boat versus a wonder of technology in terms of use, should in theory, be easier to use on the sail boat side. Don't doubt me, doctor."

Derik turned his attention to Kyle and his demonstration. "Very interesting set of skills... I wonder how you figured out how to do it all." Then Mes Chimed in. "Well, we did kind of tie him up and were strangers armed to the teeth in weaponry and magical spells that could kill just about anyone. Any sane person would play a move like that to keep themselves safe. Also, we weren't exactly friends. I don't think any of us, in the same position, would react too differently."

However, Derik could feel something. Heat. His Buster Sword glowed a bright red, hot as the forge it was made in. Something was wrong. Severely wrong, it was wrong to one of the Katana's he made, he assumed, and he doubted it was the King of the Lion People, he was far too strong and far too close for them to be unable to hear if he needed help, that only left.... Whoever hurt his wife would pay dearly with their life.

He didn't care who. He didn't care how or when. He didn't care about their powers or magic or anything. He would make sure that the motherfiretrucker would never see anything again as soon as he found him. The boat seemed to fill with an odd pressure of sorts, tribal markings scrawling on his face, his hands, his body...

"Honestly, sir, none of us are from around these parts, so to say, we apologize for wandering into your territory. Had we known, I'm certain we would have found another course to take. Even if you refuse to tell us why you hate us, I would request you let us go; we won't bother you again. We mean no harm..."

Brooklyn felt like negotiations were failing, he kept the portal open and ready in case.

"Also, congratulations on your anniversary, you two are quite lovely together, so hearing that you've shared a long life together is something great to hear."

07:00. Time to wake up.

"But why?"

Even if he didn't remember his past life, training never leaves you. Kirin's eyes opened. He wasn't anywhere familiar, but not only that, a woman stood in the room with him, as well as two men. One a taller, bulkier man, impressive stature, another a tad goofy-looking, as if he were a video game protagonist, the woman looked like an assassin...? Ninja...? Whatever. They hardly looked un-friendly, save the purple-haired one. He stood, drawing his pistol but carrying it in a manor as to conceal it, in a weak fission. Easier to come off as weakened when surrounded, if he had to he would fight his way out. He slid his hand cannon into the sleeve of his shirt and dressed the group.

"Uh... Hello?"

(Damn you by the way for stealing Rija, Sylar will feel the force of a million suns cook his firetrucking wings like a deep fryer.)

Kyle-

"Nggh.. Yikes.. perfect landing...Ouch..." Kyle muttered as he slowly got up from the floor of the cave, the light suddenly faded away, only enough to barely see in the place. He stood a moment trying to analyze his surroundings, then... "Guys! Everyone is alright?" Kyle shouted as he located Henry, and Neena, As well another person, perhaps another newcomer, but no sight of Rija. "Gimme a sec, buddy.. we can introduce in a moment just.." he said as he moved next to Neena, as she was thrown into the cave wall. "Neena... are you alright?  what happened? Where´s Rija?" He asked while using a Cure spell at her.

Reiner-

Just a little bit and I can use barrier to protect us as Brooklyn uses whatever is plaining to do but for now... "Well I´m kinda preffer the option where we won´t get crushed. So how about that story, mr. George, was it?" Reiner said as he kept his guard up, tring to dissimulate at the same time. They needed to stall, with luck they could avoid the battle.

Auron-

Auron somehow smiled as Derik and Mes commented about his skill set, maybe he didn´t had speed or a magic sword, but he could be helpful.. at least that was his goal. "Beats me Derik... Maybe it´s stuck into the lost memories I have.. or I guess I have? Who knows...eh..." Suddenly Auron saw Derik´s face.. if was something .. off.. above the normal.. "Emm.. Derik? Is everything alright?" Aron asked the solemn one.. However...

BEEP BEEP!

"Huh?... What´s that noise?... could it be?" Auron reacted surprised as he checked his pockets quickly, finding his cellphone. Since the Game started it was dead, however suddenly.. "A message?"

"Get Ready for the Mission tomorrow. I promise it will be a nice Requiem for you all - Kisses"

"Wait.. what?" Auron´´s face was full of surprise.. and somehow feelings.. feelings of anxiety.. anxiety that he had felt before...

Elsewhere-

"I support Severe as well. We need to keep the work if we are gonna blast the Game." Evan Said as he reached the group as well. "So.. What´s the next step on our little agenda?" He said as he pulled a big smile looking at Severa and Nort.

"Mmmm Which team should I choose for tomorrow? Mmm.. According to the GM it´s my turn tomorrow... yet still.. maybe I can do a pre-introduction... Mmm.. choices.. " Akane muttered as she kept watching the monitors in the cabin. She could watch The Forest and Desert groups, but the screen was to dark in the Meadow group.

"Oh well.. I suposse I can wait, after all, a melody is not composed too hasty.. also.. my little friends want to play as well tee heee..." She said as a bunch of strange symbols appeared behind her. "Time for the rematch..."

The boat rocked slightly.

"Her."

His eyes glanced down to his wedding band. She meant more to him than anyone. He drew his buster sword, it still glowed like the sun had touched it.

"I could be wrong. I could be. It might just be the metal I made this out of is just having some odd effect to the air around here or something, but I don't think this is normal. And even if I'm just being paranoid, I can't help but feel worried."

The blade stopped glowing as the message came in. Derik, being nosey as he is, glanced over to the screen. "Challenge?" He growled. "At least we may have a days rest before the next event. But I'm not so sure I will want her... R... To have to wait for help for that long." He thought.

{Dom}

Dom was about to try to log her Gunblade in Martha's hand, but her foot miraculously hit a solid cloud. Not sure if she felt more uneasy on the cloud then she did in the giant's hand, Dom tried to steady her nerves. If the group misspoke, things could get terminal. While Dom was not natural a people person, a few years as a street level guard had taught her how to deal with people in a polite, but none engaging way.

"Excuse me." She said, trying to strike a balance between loudness and politeness. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but my friends and I were just trying to traverse this plateau. If we're causing problems, we can just keep going."

"Martha isn't gonna have it." Dom thought sourly. "I know the type. Kind, little old ladies who think that it's impolite to let anyone leave there presence without a conversation and/or some sort of food."

Dom's eyes narrowed as a new consideration occurred to her. If this was yet another challenge in this game, what was the objective for this?

{Terranort}

Terranort remained stone faced as Cordelia lashed out at him. It didn't help matters that part of him agreed with her whole heartedly. But, following that part would only lead to them getting caught. Reason and caution had to lead in this.

"Give me a concrete way that we can free the players, and I'm on board." He said in a candied tone. "No matter the cost to myself. But for now, if we act too brazenly, we'll be in no position to help them in future, and perhaps when they might most need it. So, please excuse me being a cold, calculating bastard, but I want to do the maximum amount of good for..."

He trailed off as he considered who he did this for. He always felt he failed her in many ways. She might deny it, but he still felt that way. But he wasn't going to fail her here.

"Anyway, despite my objections, I'm here. What do you have?"

-Drax Omolon -

"Hope you don't expect me to apologize" Drax replied to Mes's comment about him disabling their magic, as he noticed Derik acting...weird, the man seemed trouble, and he didn't need to watch his expression, but his aura was easily readable, as the boat rocked Drax simply frowned.

"Uuuh...what challenge? im still a bit lost." he asked.

- Henry -

"NO!" Henry shouted, running forward right after Neena, but as the snow hit, he didn't get knocked back, as he created a dome of darkness rocks around him, but soon enough, after everything was said and done, he broke it off, leaving the snow, he then tried to sense the woman's power, but he couldn't detect anything, "Crap...she can't be dead..." he thought as he looked quite distraught as he walked over to Neena and Kyle, but before he could give the bad news...he noticed Kirin unconcious, right beside them. "Who?" He asked.

Henry soon vanished for a second, reapearing behind Kirin. Poking the boy in his back with a small stick Henry summoned. "Who are you? And put down the gun please, we are not hostile." Henry explained, as he poked Kirin again.

"I don't need healing you idiot." Neena scolded Kyle, but it was half-hearted. "Maybe next time you should pay attention, Rija's gone. She was taken by the flying dude." She said standing up. Neena surveyed her surroundings, but found nothing interesting. She sighed loudly, summoning a small orb of light to her palm. She walked past Henry and Kirin, pushing Henry slightly. "Don't antagonize him, he's just as clueless as you were. Someone fill him in as we go." The Assassin called back to her trio of lackeys as she began to head down the cavern's passage. Her magic orb functioned as a flashlight, illuminating the area around them just enough to see and not trip.

George looked to Reiner, and his eyes lit up, in a mix of fascination and fury. "Oh, the little man really really wants to know why I'd rather crush you than let you go huh? That's fine, I think my wife needs a reminder too."

It was at this that Martha immediately slapped George across the face. In surprise, George lost his grip on the group, and for a split second, they were all in free fall. But Martha, kind old woman that she was, had thought of this, and placed her palm underneath George's fist. The group landed in a heap on her hand, which she quickly moved to another cloud, and let them drop. This cloud was fortunately, also stable. George looked to his wife in complete surprise, and ever rising amounts of anger and frustration. "Oh, you all definitely need a reminder! A thousand years ago, to this day, we had a daughter! A lovely and beautiful woman, the most wondrous creature the sun has ever shined upon!" George was yelling loudly now, his already large voice booming across the land, echoing across the hills and mountains. And he was getting louder with each exclamation point. "She fell in love with a human! Now, your kind had never liked us, but these two had something special. A sacred Union, blessed by the gods above! I allowed them to be wed, but I was wary. And rightfully so! It was only a few short years before the humans that she now coexisted with, decided to declare their love evil, works of the devil! Her and her husband were murdered at their hands! Innocent souls, destroyed!" George was in tears now, as was his wife. Drops the size of elephants cascaded down their faces like waterfalls and fell upon the earth. Ryonne was kind of shocked at this tale. But of course, he came from a time and place that such problems arose in too. It's a shameful yet natural behavior of humans, to always try to be at the top of a hierarchy.

"I, uh, had no idea." He said a little sheepishly, still having no idea what to say. "I'm very sorry for your loss, but there is nothing that we can really do. We do not come from the world that you do, so attempting to end this prejudice or avenge your daughter is not something we can really do." Ryonne said, trying his best. But his honesty was probably not going to help the situation at all.

"To be perfectly honest with you craftsman, despite not having any encounters with any kind of mech as you put it, I have dealt with magically summoned pilotable robots. All of them have been quite user friendly, a few clearly marked levers and buttons, and a joystick. Compared to a sail boat, which don't come with instruction manuals or talking people to help you pilot them, if you do not know how to sail, you will not be able to." The Doctor said, as if he hadn't heard the rest of the conversation around him, entirely engaged in his note taking.

"You should keep the tribal tats. They give you the flair that you really needed to stand out." Mes said to Derik from the port side railing.

"Hmm?" The Doctor questioned, finally glancing up to see a glowing Derik. "I thought you were the one acting all high and mighty because you have no magic?" He questioned.

"It's the sword the Lion King gave him. It's reacting with the sword that he gave his wife." Mes clarified loudly. "Maybe try paying attention if you're going to participate in conversation." The Doctor nodded quickly, before returning to his work. This place was a treasure trove of wildlife, and he was not excited to leave it so soon. He could stay here for ages. Mes shook her head, knowing that her words had fallen on deaf ears. "Magic killer, I guess we forgot to mention one thing. This journey isn't exactly all rainbows and convenient boats. Every so often, some challenge in the form of the environment, the natives, or these weird traveling troublemakers tries to kill us." She explained to Drax, her long purple hair blowing in the wind as they sailed peacefully down the river. She could not help but feel that the others were right, something was definitely going to happen to them, and soon.

"Man, what did I miss? I could hear yelling from a rooftop away!" Marcus exclaimed cheerfully, stepping out a portal of light onto the rooftop. Cordelia quickly turned back around to the skyline, and took a deep breath.

"Yes, you are all right. I am sorry Terranort, that was unnecessary and rude of me. Allow me to make it up with my explanation." She said, trying to mend herself. The mother wiped a tear from her face, and whipped it out into the city.

"Go on." Severa said, tapping her foot against the ground.

"We're going to shut down the environmental hazards. Things like the funhouse, the zombie city, and the jungle's sense robbery and paralyzingly mist will no longer prove any threat. Completely neutralized." She said, loudly and clearly, but not facing them. Her long purple hair blew in the wind as she began again. "I managed to get some more information while we were separated. That tower that Ranco and I visited also contains the machinery that runs everything in the game. The time is not right for us to completely shut things down, no, it'd be better if we wait until they are all in one place before we do that. But, destroying the hazards will increase their chances of survival as our gifts did. And that is the main goal for now. Keep them alive until we can tear that disgusting stadium down."

"Ryonne, They may not know of our origin, and they may not understand or thing that we are lying to try and escape. Let's hold off on the truth there for a while." Brooklyn's voice echoed Ryonne's head.

"I see. I can't say I can argue with that level of grief, such pain would be crushing. I can understand that pain, I cannot say I know it, and I cannot say I truly understand it to a point, but I understand the weight of it." Brooklyn stated. "That is nothing one should have to suffer, the death of a child... There is little more that I can do for you, however, other than give my condolences. The men responsible are long dust by now, otherwise I would offer my services, however that is little aid to your sorrow."

He looked down at the cloud they were on. Brooklyn could get them all away then and there, however he decided to wait.

"Is there something that I may offer to you two at all in order to help? I know our word's are not ones you would trust, I wouldn't if I were wearing your boots, however I don't like the idea of leaving two people such as yourselves in such pain, it weighs heavy on my conscious."

Kirin grumbled in mild annoyance. First he was poked, then expected to follow these people around like a lost god damn puppy? Hell no. "How about first, instead of just telling me to lower my weapon around a bunch of unknowns when I barely have a clue of what's going on you actually identify as peaceful people. How about you don't poke me, and how about you don't order me around like a damn child!"

Quite clearly, he was upset.

Derik had quite quickly grown tired of the Doctor's disvaluement of his skills, and of him in general at this point. "...Give me one good reason not to lance your freakish boil of a head with my sword at this exact moment, Doctor, other than how "invaluable" you are to our team, and maybe I won't."

His eyes had changed, becoming more cat like, the iris' had changed to a yellow color, and his K9 teeth had made a very obvious growth in size and composition, they resembled a beast more than a man's now. His nails had grown rather long, sharp, almost claw-like, and his ears began to narrow and point, much like that of an elves.

"If you cannot, I will send your god damn notebook along with you into the ether which you came."

Bronshu blinked a couple of times.  He taps his feet on the cloud to make sure.  Yep, he sure was standing on it.  He didn't think there'd be another one.  He moves his eyes up to see the giant couple.  "Aw crud."  Bronshu mumbled as he rubbed the back of his neck.  He felt sorry for them losing their daughter like that.  And the way George feels is something he couldn't really blame.  Humans have been known to act in that regard.  Bronshu felt like saying something, but knew he wouldn't make the whole matter better.

Rexon leaned with both arms forward on the boat rail.  He made a good search over the starboard side.  All he saw was water and the edge of some land.  Rex didn't see anything happening so far.  But he was sure something would occur sooner or later.  So he kept on watching for any activity.

"Excellent.  The less complications like those the better."  Ranco said in response.

"Goodness, I had no idea that your lack of sailing knowledge was such a nerve with you." The Doctor said originally, not actually looking up from his work. But soon enough, he could feel the large amount of pressure that he was exerting, the tension in the air. The Doctor clucked his tongue and shook his head regretfully as he stood up. His spear was summoned to his side as he clapped his book shut. "I'm certain that you can tell that fighting among humans and friends is not something I seek out or enjoy. A good discussion or verbal spar is far more entertaining. But be forewarned, should you end up choosing to go through with this, I will not resort to my beasts, as they are impossible to completely control, and I don't want to kill you. But I am the best spear wielder of my world, and my glacial magic is nothing to sneeze at either. Fair warning." He said, placing his book upon a railing. "But back to why fighting is not what is going to happen. For one thing, killing me will certainly weigh heavily on your conscience. Because, despite my mocking, I have not truly done you any harm, making me an innocent according to most moral and law codes. Secondly, you seem remarkably emotional and sensitive right now because of the harm that has been done to your wife. But you know nothing of me. What is to say I do not have my own lover, a child?" Inside, his heart sunk. One of the few memories that had been returned to him was that of all of the people that he had ever cared about abandoning him, or calling him a soulless beast. And that hurt. But he was a logical man, and he knew that he did not have all of the context he needed to fully understand why that would have happened. "Perhaps I have my own reasons to live, to fight. But you do not know, and you would like to do harm to me because of some words that have come out of my mouth? I have done nothing but help you and the rest of this group for the duration of my time with you, yet you wish to kill me? I believe that you are feeling a bit off. The blade that you forged, and mightily so, is doing something to you. So, instead of drawing blood, how about you take a break? Shed your weapons, and I can almost guarantee you'll feel better. We are all in this together. We wi help your wife, and we will find my own reasons to live, but we can only get so far together, as much as I hate to admit it."

"I know enugh about your kind, Doctor. Research, in your case, being the driving force to push everything else away. Even now you're doing it. No one misses the one who forgets everyone else.Aside from that, you attempted to point out your usefulness to this team, clearly a violation of my stated rules, because your ego being the size of a village of giants doesn't clear the decision from my head.As well as your doubting I could handle every beast in that book of your's, which I would say is a heavy misjudgement. No Lance in the five sea's of Earth has ever stood in my way before, and yours will be of no exception. Mainly as I will be using it to pick your bone from my teeth after this, but doting aside.En fin, you think too highy of me, there, dear , I have no Jimmine Cricket whispering what is right or wrong to me. I know too little of you. You very well could be a serial killer in your true life, but the answer is one I do not know.I suggest you pick up your book, lest I send it into the river we travel and make quick work of you."Maybe the Doctor should have tried having a less... sharp toung, as he treat on basically every button in Derik's repetuar, relationship issues, how invaluable he is to a team, telling him to put his weapon down... The arrogant man. Thinking he is so high and mighty that he may judge who is who and what is what. He is not the king of this pack. For his condescending tone and word-choice does not sit with this Alpha.Derik is the Alpha. All other Alpha must die in his presence. His fangs became rather obvious, extended, sharp. The claws long and black as night. Horns seemed to begin growing from the top of his head, his ears far more pointed and powerful in pronunciation. Small patches of fur began to crop up around his face and hands. Whatever beast this was, it certainly was not Derik.
