You awake for the first time. You try to recall what has brought you here, but nothing comes to mind. You see others around you, also waking up for the first time. Confused, you sit up as a voice echoes all around you.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Boys and Girls,

Welcome to the Amnesia Games!

You have been allowed to remember three things

Your name

Your goal in life

And your skills in combat

And some of you don't even have one of those!

I have brought you here

From all over the omniverse

You each have an interesting story

But none of you know it

Because I have taken your memories

And the only way to get them back

Is to play my little game

So have fun

I'll be in touch

And the voice goes silent.

Mission 1: Interact with each other! Find out everybody else's name. One memory will go to each group at the end of the mission.

Renton 'Ren' Kisaragi, Neena Mors, Switch, and Noah Himitsu awake in a dense forest.

Walter Evergreen, Joshua Akira, Dom Locke, and Bronshu Wes awake near a bubbling spring in a flower meadow.

Morgan Etiam Vinctum, Mes Orem, Wolf, and Rexon Wrexx awake in a desert, sand blowing and sun shining.

Sylar awakes at a snow-covered mountaintop, all alone.

{Dom}

"Oh yeah." Dom thought. "More drama."

Dom hated herself for thinking that, but she couldn't muster much sympathy for the giants. It was in part due to her disbelief that this wasn't another part of the damn game. At least, she hoped so.

Carefully pulling out The Book from her backpack, she looked down at it with her optical patch while she kept tabs on the giants with her energy sense.

"Options?" She asked softly.

<I have enough mana to levitate the entire party to the ground, but I would not be able to get us out of the reach of the giants before they could react.> the Book replied directly to its mistress's mind.

Dom grimaced.

"Keep working on it." She murmured.

She glanced back up at the giants. She considered trying to talk to them again, but she was ignored before, and now didn't seem the time to say 'we should be going'. She had to hope one of the others had a silvery tongue.

{Terranort}

Terry nodded to Cordelia after she apologized. He didn't blame her for her reaction. This situation was wearing on all those forced to watch their loved ones fight in the games.

"Sounds good, in theory." He admitted. "How do we do it?"

"And how many of us might have to get caught in order for others to keep going?" He thought, but didn't voice.

This mission sounded worth it, but a cost might need to be paid.

Derik's first words hit home. They stung with truth. Even lacking as much memory as he did, he felt that they were true. People... He did not do well with them. He pushed them away for his work. His invaluable work. The Doctor bit his tongue as his face tensed. He looked down. Silently, one more thing from his book popped into his pocket, a small vial. He would not need it, but precautions were always a good thing. He raised his head once more, and spun his lance between his hands.

"Your words sting, and wound my soul, but I will never be someone to back down when my dignity is at stake." The Doctor declared loudly.

"Doc, this is not good. And you know that that's not Derik..." Mes started, having summoned Crystal Anlace. Fire began to burn around her in a hot aura.

"I indeed know." The Doctor affirmed. Derik was not here right now, but he would not let that stop him. Derik was a beast right now, and if there was something the Doctor knew, it was beasts. "I will mend him, but first he must be subdued. I will do that myself. After all, he challenged me himself. No one else interfere: This is between me and him now. And Derik, you are about to learn where I got my inflated ego from." Doctor Pellinore Warthrop readied his spear, and his expression beckoned for the beast to come.

- Drax Omolon -

"I see, well, least it isn't boring." Drax replied to Mes's earlier explanation, but he then saw the situation between a distraught Derik and The Doctor, and their discussion served only to annoy Drax, as he had just barely arrived, and the team was already fighting amongst themselves, "I'l throw you both off this boat if you two don't settle down, Derik, that your name? calm your shit!. and Doctor, don't talk to a man in grief..." Drax tried to defuse the situation, but it was all for naught.

Somehow, someway, Derik turned out to be a werewolf, seeing the man growing claws and fangs made him frown, as if he'd have seen much, much worse stuff before. "So...friend of your is a werewolf? or is that lion king sword turning him a beast? or is that really not your friend at all? if so you people were walking with a god damn animal all along..." Drax asked nonchalantly, as he did notice some aura coming off the sword, as it was glowing before. "Alright..." he said under his breath as he summoned two ghostly hands to hold the sails and keep the boat on course as he turned to Derik, who was now turning into a beast, "Alright go ahead you two, fight in this boat, probably endangering our only way of getting to our destination aside from swimming, i'l just sit here and watch..." Drax said in a really sarcastic tone as he literally summoned a ghostly throne to sit on top of. "Doc you need help jsut say the word and I can boost your aura." Drax commented.

- Henry -

Henry threw the stick on the ground as it vanished, "How about you give me your name so I don't have to call you a kid? name's Henry by the way, sorry for poking you." Henry said shruggin with a small smile on his face, as he turned around, facing where Neena was walking to, as he motioned for Kirin to follow, "Either you come with us or you can stay here, your choice, im not about to order you around, anyway, first, an explanation, or rather a pretty lackluster one since I have arrived just a few minutes ago and I was involved in an avalanche...well we're in another world, with challenges that if we fail, the penalty is death, we're being chased by a omnipotent maniac, and uh...I dunno much else...sorry." Henry explained all he could, with a blank tone as he simply walked along.

Upon Drax and Mes' beginning to act like they were even contenders in this, Derik had thrown paralytic throwing picks at the two, binding them. "You will not aid him."

And with that, it began. Derik's Buster Sword swung in a arc towards the doctor from the left as Derik reached for his energy sword, turning it on.

"I guess we can start there." Kirin stated, listening to the story. "My name is Kirin." He holstered his gun, however, he kept his hand by the holster.

Auron-

Hell no... just what we needed. Auron thought as he saw the Doctor and Derik ready to attack each other. Mes and the newcomer Drax were also in alert... however...If they fight over the boat, and knowing each of their strengh.. this boat will not gonna handle it. Quickly Auron used a wind card trying to repel the strike of both comrades. "Guys stop! If you fight here the boat will not... Oh no..." Auron said as he realized he had intervened as Derik said dont interfere.... Unfortunately the wind was like... a Cutting edge... literally damaging the deck.. Auron could do nothing more except worrying about two things:

  • When the boat will sink? And...
  • Is Derik gonna crush me for interfere in the battle?... Gulp.

Reiner-

"Mmm I see... " Reiner muttered as he finished listening the story of the Giant. seeing their paina nd despair made him feel something familiar, he couldn´t remember a thing or two, they were deprived of memories.. but somehow the feel.. was .. familiar.

"Then killing us will bring her back, or make you feel any better? I don´t think so. Look I know you lost your belobed one, and don´t believe us to be good because of it, even I can´t be sure of it." Reiner said as he looked down to the Clowdy floor they stood. "We are stuck here, with little to no memories at all, I don´t know if I have friends or famyly, but somehow I feel it.. that sadness of losing one. And I´m sure if I could remember it... then I´m sure that person wouldn´t like to see me sad and seeking revenge..." Reiner took a moment and then he looked right into the couple. "And I´m sure your daughter wouldn´t either".

Kyle-

After Neena left to the road, Kyle stopped his spell, then he raised up, starting to walk next to Henry and the newcomer. "My name is Kyle, welcome to the mumbo-jumbo of lack of memories..." He said while changing his expression for a moment. Rija... just what the hell it´s this place?

"Oh right, I forgot that you two don't know anything." Neena said, shaking her head a little bit. She turned around in the tunnel, to face Kirin. "I'll give you all a brief summary. We all had our memories taken by this god thing named the Watcher. We have to head towards a beacon on a mountain top if we want to get them all back. In the meantime, he likes to give them back piece by piece, and send random things like murderous psychopaths and undead monsters to try and kill us. Also, I'm reasonably certain from some of the things that he has said that we are being watched by an audience, as if we were on a stage. Now then, let's go. Oh, and my name's Neena Mors. I've been through some tough stuff, in my past and throughout this stupid game, and am not in a particularly good mood right now. If you have further questions, please keep them to yourself." She said this with certainty, then turned back, and continued back down the tunnel.

It was not long before then tunnel became irrelevant. The pathway entered into a gigantic cavern, lit by holes in the walls and several fires that dotted the ground, both in firepits and on torches. But of course, the thing that would draw most of the groups attention would be the huge battle going on. Two opposing sides in different colored armor, red and blue, that seemed to be locked in an eternal battle. Whenever one fell, it only seemed like more reinforcements came from their castle. Speaking of their castle, it was a pair of large stone structures on opposite sides of the cavern. They were exactly the same, but one had red flags and banners, while the other blue. On the ramparts and from the towers of each, arrows fired down into the chaos. For now, both sides did not seem to even notice the group that had entered this war.

The giants listened peacefully to the words of Brooklyn and Reiner, Ryonne's words fortunately lost to their loud sobbing that had permeated the air beforehand. Martha glanced to George, who still seemed frustrated and angry, but his temper seemed to have cooled off. For now at least.

"We could ask them to do that thing?" Martha whispered to her partner, but a giant's whisper is still pretty easy to hear. George originally shook his head, but then he looked at Reiner again. He took a deep breath.

"I have decided to let you off without immediately killing you." He said, as if expecting to be thanked. "But, we have a job for you." Without warning, George picked them all up again. He leaped into the air, and landed on a fortunately very large cloud. His wife followed behind. George set the heroes down onto a different cloud. Behind them, was a massive, gargantuan, beautiful, pristine, white castle. Nikolai whistled softly.

"Bigger than mine. Mine was prettier though." He muttered to the others. Martha swallowed, and wiped his reddened face.

"That castle is ours. We have some pests that have taken up residence. If you can take care of them, we'd really really appreciate it." Martha said as clearly as she could, still half-crying from the traumatic memories.

"This is humanity's last chance." George interrupted grimly. "I will judge them depending on what happens here until the day I die." And then, he left, leaping back down to the ground. Martha gave them one last look, perhaps of sympathy, then followed. Escape was clearly possible... but should they?

The pins impacted Mes perfectly, paralyzing her. In her mind, she cussed Derik out for being so stupid, but of course did not do anything outwardly. She couldn't really.

The Doctor leapt back from the buster sword slash. There was no way he could block a blow from that weapon, it was far too hefty for his lance. The other, maybe, but it would be better if he instead kept on his toes, dodged them. His eyes glanced to Auron when he foolishly attempted to intercept the two combatants. Perhaps if he had tried a bit earlier, but now they were too far gone for that to help them. If anything, he hurt himself, the Doctor was beginning to realize Derik's goals and behaviors, and the beast would tolerate interference.

It was right then when they rounded a corner. They immediately hit a rock, and the boat rocked dramatically. Mes toppled over, still unable to move. Then the real danger of this river became obvious. The river was already speeding up, and dead ahead was a waterfall. Before Drax could do anything to stop it, their vessel was already heading right over the falls. There was a huge crash as the entire ship was destroyed. Mes was thrown to the riverbank, while Rexon and Auron fell right into the river. Drax was on the opposite side of the river from Mes. With some stroke of incredible fortune, or misfortune depending on interpretation, the Doctor and Derik both stood atop their own platform of the deck, that continued to float down river, leaving behind the others. The Doctor looked back to them, and sighed in frustration. He wanted to assist them, but right now, it would be better if he snapped Derik out of this state. That was the main priority for the group. The Doctor jumped high into the air, thrusting down a strike with his lance once he got in range. That was not the main purpose here though. The Doctor had begun charging a blast of icy power, and chose that moment to shoot it out, the freezing blast hurtling towards Derik's legs. Upon impact, they would explode into rather large ice crystals, that would hopefully limit his opponents movement, but he was not sure if it would entirely work.

Meanwhile, Auron and Rexon felt a small pull on their legs, from somewhere under the water. Then, in a blur of motion, Drax was pulled into the water. A giant tentacled beast arose from the river, splashing water everywhere. He had in his sticky grip Drax, and seemed to set it's eyes that were positioned on thin stalks at the top of its head thing, onto Auron and Rexon.

Dom sighed. More fetch work.

"Well, it's either risk our lives doing George's errand, a possibly worthy endeveor." Dom said to the rest of the group as she holstered her Gunblade. "Or we leave, and possibly have an enraged giant tracking us down to crush us."

She glanced at her book, then shut it with a grunt and stuck it in her back pack.

"Let's at least go with the moral high ground on this, and do some pest control." Dom said, not sounding enthusiastic.

"Oh right, I forgot that you two don't know anything." Neena said, shaking her head a little bit. She turned around in the tunnel, to face Kirin. "I'll give you all a brief summary. Brooklyn called down to the Giant's as they fell. "We shall do our best." He called. Just some monsters, right? Giant rodents or bugs, nothing hard to deal with. They could handle it. "Reguardless of if you all wish to leave, I will stay. I made the offer to work for them, but if they're to ever find peace, someone needs to ease their disgust with humanity.""Quite the charmer." He said to Henry as Neena sped her pace up, moving quite quickly towards some goal. "A good leader must always work with their compatriots, not ask them to survive on their own, and by the sound of it, I'm to be stuck with your team." He sighed. As they entered the battlefield, Kirin drew his Hand Cannon again, keeping it down but in correct positioning. He kept an eye on the Archers, even if they hadn't knot iced them yet, should they and he would have to act quick. This team doesn't seem to be much for range. The Doctor's overhead attack was met with a upward strike, knocking him back and away, however the ice froze his legs. No matter, for an Alpha. The ice was solid, however the raft, not so much. He brought down the Buster sword down on the raft, breaking it apart from the Doctor's half, and then he drew his beam Saber and cut through the ice, as well as the base of the raft he was on, giving him some freedom of movement as he new had a portion of the raft under each foot. If this was going to work out, Derik needed the advantage in terrain. So from there, he advanced down the river, pushing with his raft-bound feet, and used an upcoming rock as a ramp, launching him into the sky and back into the forest.

Bronshu turned around and saw the castle.  "Huge castle is huge." he spoke out impressed.  Turning back he listens in on the giants request.  Nodding his head, Bronshu responds:  "Yeah, we'll take care of it."  Looking back at the castle he says:  "I don't mind doing a chore like this.  If it means cheering up that couple even a little bit, then I'd be more than happy to do it.  Plus, I don't want to risk getting stomped on.  You know, I'm pretty sure I've done a bunch of stuff like this back where I'm from.  And like that stuff, something tells me this job won't be that easy."

Rexon heard some commotion from the other side of the ship.  He makes a jog over to see Derik and the Doctor apparently getting ready to fight each other.  "What's going here?!" Rex shouted confused.  Then he felt the boat hit something.  With the boat rocking like it is now he fell out of it and into the water.  Submerged for a bit, Rex got up to grab some air.  "Well this is pretty bad."  he said while floating in place.  He then felt something pulling his leg.  He searches for what caused it, but he couldn't see anything in the water.  Now he felt himself rising up from the water and found himself on something.  "Now what is this thing?!"  Rex screamed in annoyance.

Reiner-

"I agree with it. Besides... It´s just a clean up job, also a good training exercise, don´t you think?" Reiner said as he replied to Brooklyn and Bronshu´s words. Then he pulled out his two swords preparing himself to combat. "Alright. Who´s leading the way?"

Kyle-

After entering the cave´s deeps and reaching the kind of undergroud battlefield. The red and Blue army were something.. strange, but cool at the same time, however... "As long as they won´t notice us.. we shall keep moving ..." Kyle whispered as he summoned his keyblade, and started to analyze the terrain, trying to figure out some kind of advantages they could get from it... just in case.

Auron-

"Ngg... Ouch that fall..." Auron said as he got up on his foot, he was on the middle of the river, suddenly he felt something moving on his legs.. "Yikes what was that?!!" Auron shouted as suddenly water splashed all the way, seeing the giant octopus, having Drax, and then Rexon onto his grip, Auron avoided the grip of the beast, he needed to move outside water, but he couldn´t left they at the beast mercy. "I´m gonna help you!" Auron shouted as he charged one of his cards launching at the octopus´s body.

- Henry -

"Seems like quite the character this watcher." Henry chuckled, "I don't see a reason for this thing to bring all these people, everyone from a different world, hell...even timelines" he said gesturing at Kirin as he kept moving forward, "Well I guess the facts don't matter right now anyway..." he stated as he followed Neena, who also introduced herself, "No one is in a good mood after losing a friend." he said...as he soon saw the battle between a red army and a blue army.

"So...what do we do? we cross forcefully or we try to sneak around? both are viable..." Henry said, ready to take whatever action was necessary, he entered his wind style, perfect for ranged engagements as he also noticed some archers, from both army's sides.

- Drax Omolon -

Drax was almost glad he ended safely in the shore, but he was soon pulled by his leg and turned upside down "Well...shiiiiiiiiiiiit" he said as he was pulled by this beast, "Upside down, being swung around by this thing, as Rexon was too, in its hold, Managing to pull out his bow from his back, he summoned a spirit arrow and charged it for a few seconds with spirit energy, his eye glowing due to the chanelling, Noticing Auron's card flying at it, Drax followed with a shot of his own, in the form or a spirit charged, explosive arrow, right at the things face. Hopefully it would release him, Leth the eagle soon came to help too, as it dove right at the tentacle holding Drax, with enough force to cut it if need be, hopefully anyway.

"Who said I was leader?" Neena questioned Kirin, but did not look back to him. "I just happen to be going this way, and you all are following me." She said, continuing to examine their surroundings. "I don't see an exit anywhere." She mentioned, sounding rather concerned by this possibility.

Suddenly, all the fighting on both sides stopped dramatically. Trumpets sounded. From the front entrance of both castles exited a large man, coated in a huge suit of armor, riding a horse. Straight for the group. Neena gripped her blade, ready for what may be coming next. Likely a battle. The rest of the soldiers on the field also began to surround them all in a large circle. Neena really did not like this. The two knights, likely leaders from the way they carried themselves and how fancy their armor was, finally made their way to the circle, each stopping on the outside of the shape, opposite each other.

"How dare you Blue scum hide our Red brethren from us!"

"I could say the same to you Red fools!"

The two knights yelled at each other.

"Shut up and tell us what you want!" Neena cried abruptly, interrupting their shouting match. Both seemed startled by this. The Blue knight tipped his head towards Neena, but she could not see his expression. Helmet and all that.

"Lady Missa, do you not remember? You were taken by the Red army many years ago!" The Blue knight said as if it was obvious. Judging from the expression on the other soldiers faces, this was a well known event.

"And Master Taylor," The Red knight pointed towards Henry. "You were taken from our arms by the Blues!" Whispers erupted from all around them, the soldiers engaging in rapid gossip before both knights gestured for silence. The Blue knight shook his head.

"This is not over Red, but I must see Lady Missa and Lord Oculus back home for their rest." He said, pointing once again towards Neena but also towards Kirin.

"Then we will meet again tomorrow! Master Taylor! Master Jules! Come now!" The Red knight countered, gesturing for Henry and Kyle to come with him. Before the Forest Group could do anything more, each sides soldiers began practically pushing them towards their respective castles, gradually becoming more and more separated from the others by an ever increasing gap of infantry.

Neena and Kirin were being pushed towards the Blue castle, having apparently been mistaken for Lady Missa and Lord Oculus.

Henry and Kyle were simultaneously being pulled towards the Red castle, supposedly being the missing masters Taylor and Jules.

Suddenly a voice echoed in all of their heads, only to be heard by the contestants.

Ryonne nodded with everyone's responses. "Then let's go." He said curtly, and began to walk towards the castle. Kinzoku, seeming rather tired of walking, summoned her ingots and manipulated them into a platform that she sat cross legged upon. The platform then levitated and began to float towards the castle alongside the group.

It was actually a slightly lengthy walk. Not as bad as the one they had only just endured to get to the plateau, but still took a while. But they finally made it. The double doors loomed above them. Ryonne gestured towards everyone.

"Careful now, be on your guard. We don't know what kind of stuff is in there." He then motioned to Kinzoku, then back to the metal doorknobs. "Open it up." Kinzoku nodded. She closed her eyes to focus, then slowly pushed the doors open. They creaked. Loudly.

"They really need some oil for their hinges." Nikolai muttered, gripping Royal Will tightly. Inside the palace was a huge entrance hall. There were tapestries and banners hanging down from the walls, huge pillars across the entire room, and two staircases at either end, that led up to a middle balcony like area. On this balcony, a bonfire burned. A woman could be seen looking down on them, a slim form with orange hair. Aside from the fire and the light from the door, there was no other light in the palace. The windows were boarded up, and all the torches along the walls were put out.

It seems that you all have made it here

Excellent job

The Doctor managed to land back upon his part of their raft, recovered just in time to watch Derik depart. The Doctor shook his head, miffed by the way that Derik was behaving. He was certainly disagreeable, but this was simply outrageous. Doctor Warthrop followed his opponents path, and leapt off of the rock. He swung off of a branch, keeping an eye on Derik in his pursuit.

Both the card and the arrow struck true, hitting the squid. It was surprised and flailed dramatically, accidentally losing Rexon, but Drax was still firmly entangled by the cephalopod. The kraken waved one of its tentacles, and swatted away Leth the falcon like a fly. It then narrowed its eyes towards Auron, and chose to swung the tentacle that also held Drax right towards the gamer.

Severa nodded with Terranort. "Yeah. How do we do that?" She asked. Cordelia nodded, and pulled a small device from her pocket. She flicked it onto the ground of the rooftop. A holographic view of the city came to life, with three blinking dots in three different places. Cordelia pointed to the first one that was near the outskirts of the city.

"An alarm will almost certainly sound while we execute the main plan. That's why we need as many of the police force preoccupied elsewhere before then. So, Severa and Evan. You will make your way out here. There's an abandoned building that you should blow up to draw attention. It's distant enough from anything else that no one will be hurt. From there, I trust you two to be capable enough to be able to either incapacitate or escape your pursuers. Can you do that?" Cordelia asked, glancing towards Severa. The girl nodded. Cordelia looked back to her plans. She pointed to a second dot at the top of the tower.

"That is the Mechanic's office. He is the only one that really knows how all of the machinery works. So, we need him gone, otherwise he could fix the machinery we're going to break. Marcus, Ranco. That will be your job. Teleport in, knock him out and kidnap him."

"Roger." Marcus said calmly.

"Then this will be ours." Cordelia gestured to the final dot on at the bottom of the tower. "Terranort, you and I will take that elevator down to the basement. That is where all the machinery actually is. We're going to destroy it. There is also a machine down there that will allow us to escape the building immediately. We'll use that for our own escape." Cordelia completed outlining the main plan.

"How dare you Blue scum hide our Red brethren from us!""I could say the same to you Red fools!"The two knights yelled at each other."Shut up and tell us what you want!" Neena cried abruptly, interrupting their shouting match. Both seemed startled by this. The Blue knight tipped his head towards Neena, but she could not see his expression. "Derik" continued to charge through the forest, he would have to go back for his pack later, this land was not good. They could handle themselves. He needed to keep ahead of the Doctor at all cost. The leftover bits of ice clung to him defyantly until he leaped into the dense foliage of the trees. He could feel the memory returning, but now was not the time. Now was not the time.Kirin had two options.Force these men to unhand him, and probably get killed. Or follow them from the moment and escape when the type presented to him.Kirin is not a stupid man, by any means... so he went with. He didn't recollect on the memory at the moment, as he was more concerned with what the others would be doing. If any of them were as unstable as they seemed, this could be a bloodbath.Brooklyn stood agape at the site, it was a lot larger than he had originally thought. "Fitting for people larger than life...""Life.""Life.."His head grew cloudy and heavy, dense with this memory. It was like a storm of emotions and pain... an older Kain stood resolute with thirteen strangers, his Keyblade drawn. He wasn't sure if his team was up to the challenge, but he could only barely see. Like he was looking through a looking glass a mile off.He snapped back for a moment, returning to a picture of his team, in some sort of tourniment of some kind.. facing some of the men from the group of thirteen... Kain attacking again... What was going on?Then, he came back. He breathed hard as blood leaked from his nose, he wasn't so sure he was alright after that one, it took a tole on him...

Inside the castle Bronshu made a small whistle.  "This place sure is a lot bigger on the inside."  he said without hesitation.  He wouldn't mind doing a little sightseeing when he could see a bit better.  Among the things he could see well was a balcony and someone on it.  Bronshu crossed his arms and said:  "Looks like there's someone already here.  A lady from the looks of it.  Weird.  She seems so...familiar to me."  "Oh great, she's here?"  Diasor asked rather annoyed.  Bronshu:  "You saying you know her Diasor?"  Diasor:  "Unfortunately yes.  And so do you in a way."  Bronshu:  "I do?"  Bronshu hears the voice of the Watcher mention getting a memory back.  But he also hears the Watcher says the woman's name.  "Akane?"  Bronshu asked.  He definitely heard that name before.  A large headache then came to him without warning and his started moaning.  It was coming back to him now.  Who Akane was, where she came from, and some things she did to one of his friends.  After ten seconds the headache finally goes away.  Rubbing his forehead with his right hand, Bronshu says:  "Guys.  I know who this chick is.  She's someone you don't want to mess around with."

Rexon dropped back into the river when the kraken lost its grip on him.  He bobbed his head out of the water to breath.  He hears the Watcher speaking of a memory being returned to him.  But he knew now wasn't the best time to remember what it was.  He sees the tentacle that held Drax heading down towards Auron.  Having a determined face on, Rex thought: Got to move fast.  He summons his Keyblade, points it below him and turns it.  The ground beneath the river shook a bit and a chunk starts rising up.  Now Rex's whole body was out of the water and stood on the platform he made.  He points his Keyblade ahead of himself and the platform moves in the same direction on command.  Rex tries to maneuver around the kraken and looks for a place to position himself.  Finding a good spot, Rex winds his right arm and throws his Keyblade.  It slices through the tentacle that held Drax and releases him.  Seeing him fall Rex extends his arms and catches the guy.  Quickly putting Drax down, Rex calls back his Keyblade and says:  "Now you know the kind of stuff we've been going through so far."

"Very well.  It will be done as soon as possible."  Ranco replied.  He made a slight sigh to himself.  He then thinks:  First thievery and now kidnapping.  Next thing you know, there will be bribery or some other sort.  Ugh, stop this Ranco.  You mustn't work yourself up over these matters.  The important thing is to help the contenders participating these horrid "games" survive them.  That is what you should be focused on for now.

(Foreshadowing Ultimus? hehehehe anyway, Introducing the Evil one... ok no...)

Kyle-

"Whoa wait!.. you´re confused.." Kyle tried to sneak out before they were dragged inside the red castle. As Henry and him entered escolted by the guards the voice of the watcher came throught his ears. "So a memory huh?... " Kyle thought for a moment, then a little headache came inside his head.

It was a forest, a green lively forest, memories from a family of three came inside, unfortunately one by one, they left the world leaving the child alone. Time passed till one day while hunting a strange flow of darkess came throught the woods from the near city, vanishing all...

"Ngrr... what was that? that was... my life?" Kyle muttered as a feeling of loneliness invaded his heart. As soon as he reacted they were inside the castle. He turned to Henry then he started to speak. "So what now? We can´t outrun a huge army like this... "

Reiner-

As soon as they entered the castle, thanks to Kinzoku´s metalbending powers, Reiner could feel the change of the atmosfere, the walls decorated with flags and trapesty could only be seen by the light of the flames in the balcony, as they draw close the Watcher started to speak, all ominous as always, suddenly he noticed the woman in the balcony, her arms reposed in the rail, as she gave the group a happy, yet saddistic smile. "Ok.. this can´t be good... " Reiner said as a memory came.. a faint one about another woman, she shared the same smile like her.. and the same feeling.. evil, but nothing else came.

As the Watcher finished speaking to the group, Akane simply floated with the help of her strange black wings on her back. As she touched the floor, these vanished startng to walk close to the group; when she was close enough she started to speak:

"Well well well well well... what do we have here?.. a bunch of new players ready to participate? That´s nice! Akane Kitsune, at your service. " She said as she bowed in front of the group, then putting her finger in her lips looking right into Bronshu´s eyes."Of course, it seems someone already knows me, right Bronshu? Diasor?" She said in a moody voice then finally speaking to all the group.

"The Watcher let me do a little game of mine, of course it has it´s limits due to, you know.. admin´s stuff. First of all, this room it´s so dark.. let´s change it" She said as clapping her hands making the torchs in the walls lighten up, revealing two doors in the balcony, one red and one blue; "Nice, that´s much better... now... Bronshu, can you read your cellphone message? I´m sure everyone will be interested about it. Teehehehe..."

The message sent said:

Mission 01: Defeat the Noise in the Red and Blue chambers.

Time limit: 3:00:00 hours.. Fail and face erasure!

The Reaper.

As soon as readed a light coming from Akane´s hand hit Bronshu´s hand. "Oh good memories of yesterday... well.. we dont have that much right.. soowy...Teehehehe. Complete the mission and your dear friend will not fade away.. hehehehhehe"

Auron-

"Thanks Rexon!" Auron shouted as he was covered from the octopus´s attack. "Ok.. let´s see we are three, Mes is unable to fight. This thing is huge and it´s annoyed.... Any good strategy? You know .. since both of you seems like fighters... i don´t know?" Auron said sarcastically as he used a barrier card, gaining a little to no time to protect them from one hit of it, while starting putting commands into his game as fast as he could"

Elsewhere-

"Alright Cordelia, you can count on us!" Evan said firmly as he looked at Severa. Giving a gring of trust he said. "So.. I´m hoping we can get along, easy cake right?" He said as starting to prepare his stuff for the next step of the strategy.

- Henry -

Henry could only look at the scene, both armies, stopping in thei tracks as they noticed the group, some blues quickly coming up to Neena and claiming she was from them, and some red coming up to him claiming the same thing, Henry shrugged, "I think you go the wrong guy." He tried to say, but he was pushed by the soldiers into the red castle nonetheless.

'The firetruck?!' he thought as he could hear someone speaking  to him, mentally, mentioning a memory, being brought back to him.

The memory.

It was a cold, rainy night, as Henry stood on top of the main demon realm alliance's castle tower, looking over the horizon, expecting someone, and someone did show up, with a bright flash of holy light,, as a white haired boy appeared, pale with golden eyes, who had an angelic aura around him, "I'l be damned, I guess my invitation did come through the order." Henry joked as he turned to face the boy, whose aura only became stronger and stronger. "Im hoping we don't have to fight...we already did and we know how that turned out...remember?" Henry's voice echoed as the memory ended

Henry felt a small sting from the sudden memory in his head, rubbing his hands around his head as he heard what Kyle said about the situation. Henry chuckled, "Its simple, we have two choices, try our luck in fighting our way out...or, play along and look for an opening so we can escape, and hope that Neena and Kirin can notice the opening as well" Henry relayed the current plan.

"For now, lets hope they have good hospitality..." Henry joked.

- Drax Omolon -

Being cut off from the tentacle was a relief, as Leth materialized in his right shoulder, unphased by the earlier hit it took, of course, it was a spirit after all, Drax glanced at the others, ignoring the mental talk from the watcher and the memory for later, "I'd say someone distract it while the other attacks its weakspot" Drax suggested as he readied his bow. "Go Leth!" He ordered.

Summoning four phantom arrows and charging them, he fired them in the air on top of the octopus monster, as the arrows started falling down in the arc, Leth flew right past them, the arrows blew up in a fiery explosion but also letting of a cluster of energy orbs flying at the octopus, raining explosive orbs onto it as Leth was charged by the explosion, increasing its speed and power, it slammed right into the octopus's face along with all the explosive orbs.

"See what you guys can do." He said.

{Dom}

Dom kept a rearguard position in the group, while trying to scan ahead with her energy sense to avoid more surprises. She was trying to emotionally connect to what they were doing, but all she could think of what that this was some sort of test for the game. Either the Giants were part of it and this was all an act, or they were genuine and the Watcher was using their story as fodder for the game. Either way, sympathy was not what was welling up inside Dom right now. That was anger. As the anger grew, she felt more...right. She felt strangely calm and in control. Peace and rest only made her antsy. Another fact about herself that Dom wasn't sure how to feel about.

When the group's adversary for the castle was introduced, Dom studied her hard, trying to gain as much info as she could from her physical appearance, stance, facial expression, ect. That study was cut short when it was announced that another memory was being doled out. Dom sighed and waited for the memory to come. But it didn't.

"Book?" She asked, not sure what else to do.

She could see from some of her companions' faces that they were lost in remembrance, so it was working.

<It seems you are repressing something, Mistress.> the Book answered telepathicly. <That repression is interfering with your recollection.>

Dom recalled her last Memory, and how it felt cut off. She didn't want to remember that last bit, so it was messing with her remembering other things. What was so terrible that she didn't want to relive it?

Bronshu's admission of knowing who Akane was broke Dom from her reverie. She would have to deal with that later. When the winged woman came closer, Dom had her Gunblade out and pointed at Akane. She gritted her tech as Akane explained what was going on. Blast, one of those times of games.

"Aren't you breaking some kind of Reaper laws being here?" She asked, but more as a way to buy time and get a reaction from Akane then actually try to accuse her of something.

{Terranort}

Terry scratch his chin as he considered the plan.

"Worth a try." He admitted. "Especially if can help as much as you say."

Taking a deep breath and losing up, he nodded to Cordelia.

"I am ready when you are."

Auron-

Well that was useful ... I guess..  Auron thought as he finished entering the commands, activating them. As soon as he clicked on his device a bunch of lightnings like arrows came from the screen, in direction towards the octopus face. "Eat that you eight arms squid!!" Auron shouted as preparing the second strike. "Rexon! Drax! give me some cover!" He asked for.

Reiner-

"Oh geez.. things are gonna get tricky" Reiner muttered as Akane finished her introduction, as well with the certainly strange message, worried enough as probably any of them knew already they fell into a trap... a very awkward trap. Pulling out one of his blades he prepared for anything, as far as he saw, she could fly.. but what other abilities she could have? "Waht are those Noise on the message?" Reiner asked, preparing himself for not liking the answer.

"Geez... what a warm actitude, it´s just a timer on Bronshu´s hand.. not a bomb or something...count reach zero, the player is gone, pop, boom, dead.. but it only appears on people who bear player pins ... people like Bronshu for example" Akane said while putting her fingers on his forehead, in a clear sign of frustration. Taking again a fly back to the balcony she began to answer Dom and Reiner questions.

"First of all, this is not my world, so of course rules don´t apply the same, at least in rank and power. Also I have permission to a certain degree from our Watcher to do a similar enviroment. For more info about Game stuff, I think our human timer can answer that later. Right?" She finished as her wings started to glow in aa purple light. "As for the second question... I think you need a practical demostration. Mmm how about THIS!"

Finished saying, she snapped her fingers, then creatures like frogs and bears, with strange symbols incrusted into them appeared surrounding the group. Four, five, .. ten creatures were taking the offensive against them. "We are surrounded!" Reiner shouted as he prepared from battle.

"Now... let the game  BEGIN! Noise attack!" Akane shouted as the Noise started to move.

(Note: Just in case if someone never played TWEWY, noise picture...)

(Well I'm not much one for subtlety Daniel.  So I guess it is.)

"Yeah, unfortunately."  Bronshu replied not to proudly.  "So you're aware of my presence Akane.  You never were one to miss things so easily."  Diasor responded unsurprised.  "Message?"  Bronshu asked her.  His phone in the right pocket began to vibrate.  He reaches in and pulls it out.  Sure enough, there was a message on it.  Opening the message he reads aloud:  " 'Defeat Noise in the Red and Blue chambers.  Time limit:  3 hours.  Fail and face erasure."  Bronshu grunted as he felt a sting on his left hand.  He looks at his left palm and sees a counter ticking down.  "I never thought I'd see anything from the Reapers Game happen here." Bronshu said out loud.  Seeing some Noise surrounding everyone, he says:  "Okay, so Noise are monsters with weird symbols on them.  They can come out of almost anywhere and get annoying when doing things.  They can take the shape of any animal known to humankind.  But Noise are much more aggressive and vicious than the animal they represent.  They will follow the orders of any Reaper in the area.  My advice with Noise:  never stay in one spot for five seconds, strike'em down hard and give no mercy."  Having finished, Bronshu pulls out his fire pin scorches a couple of frog Noise.

"I'm on it!"  Rexon replies to Drax and Auron.  Rex stabs his Keyblade into the middle of the platform and pushes left.  It splits into two halves between him and Drax, both pieces having enough space to move around on.  "You can do whatever with that piece!"  Rex shouts to Drax.  He points his Keyblade forward and his platform piece starts moving.  Behind the kraken Rex throws his Keyblade at the back of its head.  He throws it again three more times and shouts:  "Hey Octo wuss!  I'm not done with you!  Come over here so I can have some fun!"

As soon as the Noise creatures were summoned, Dom double tapped a Bear in the head.

"Move towards the door while fighting." She called out to the party. "I've got a bad feeling that we're gonna need those three hours."

Walking forward, Dom hacked a Frog in two.

"Book." She said aloud.

There was a sudden gust of air as Dom was lifted up in an Aero spell and flown to near the doors. She landed somewhat clumsily, but recovered quick enough to be on the defense in case she was chased by more Noise. As she watched for enemies with her ocular patch, she used her energy sense to see inside the two chambers they had to clear.

Neena clenched her fists as the memory came in, the familiar headache accompanying it.

Neena was only about as old as she was now in this memory. That was certainly interesting, considering the previous ones had been at least a couple years prior. In any case, she was in a kitchen, dressed.... Casually? In a sweater and jeans, her hair up in a ponytail. This odd version of herself was cooking in the kitchen while there was a young girl that looked... so familiar at the table, drawing a picture. It was a happy scene, which was so odd. None of her memories thus far had been something she could call happy. Suddenly, a loud bang was heard above them. Neena immediately summoned a dark blade to her hand. The little blond girl looked up to the ceiling as well. The roof caved in with a crash, and all of the world went into slow motion. Three or four hooded men with black cloaks surged forwards at normal speed. Two went for the little girl, grabbing her and vanishing in a dark corridor. Neena wanted to do something, cause a dark explosion, shoot light blades... But she was helpless in this time slowed state. One hooded man walked up to her, and pulled down his hood. He was a young man, silver hair and yellow eyes, and he summoned a keyblade, black and white with a blue aura about it.

"I try not to kill when unnecessary. So I suppose you will have to be out of the loop for a while." He said, his tone cold and calculating. The memory went black, and Neena came back to reality.

She glanced to Kirin. He bugged her, but most people did so that didn't mean much anymore. "Play along?" She asked, quietly so none of the others would hear. They reached the gate, and the Blue Knight opened it up, and gestured inside.

"Please make yourselves at home, for that is what it is, no matter how long you've been gone. We will send for you for dinner, soon, but first feel free to rest and change in your rooms. Sirrah!" He called this last word out loudly, and two servants came to them. A butler bowed in front of Kirin, and a maid curtsied for Neena. "Lead them to their old quarters. Now, farewell, we shall talk soon." The Knight said, then began to walk while on his horse towards the side of the castle.

At the Red Castle, the exact same had happened, the gates opened, two butlers came to retrieve the Masters Jules and Taylor, they were told to rest then come back down for dinner. Lastly, the Red Knight left.

Ryonne knelt down and placed a hand on Brooklyn's shoulder. A lot of stuff was going on, too much. He managed to follow the topic of conversation, and how this new villain was going to be. "Brooklyn, are you alright?" Ryonne asked his partner, keeping a vigilant eye on the Noise around them. He barked an order to the others. "Follow Dom, she has the right idea!"

"Got it chief!" Nikolai replied. A frog noise leapt towards Ryonne and Brooklyn, but a shock of electricity flew from Nikolai's hand, dissolving the creature. The Prince pulled out Royal Will from his holster, and transformed it into saber form, and began to move towards the staircase. The memory was poking at the back of his head, and he could tell it was not going to be good. He could hold off on full recollection a little longer. Kinzoku meanwhile was manipulating her ingots, transforming them into small pellets. Once they were prepared, she shot them from her in a powerful burst, destroying the rest of the initial noise that had attacked them.

"Any other neat tips Bron?" The Metal Mage asked her comrade, shortening his name as in a nickname. The girl tended to do things like that, act closer to people than she really was. Just in her nature she supposed.

The Doctor landed on a sturdy tree branch, staying vigilant and light on his toes. He had lost Derik, or what used to be Derik, but he knew he had to be here somewhere. The memory he had just received refused to stop prodding his brain with aches and pains until he recalled it. So he did. It was blurry, as if he had been drunk or possessed. Out of complete control of his body. That made the memory frustrating in and of itself. But still, he managed to recollect the fight. Lashing out with his blade of ice in furious swings against a slight woman. But then... His target changed, suddenly and randomly. To a comrade? That was certainly not like him. Sure he had been caught in friendly fire, but to completely turn against him like that? Of course. The typhoneus magnificum. He had "hulked out" as popular culture liked to put it. It had been a vicious fight against the flame wielder, and the Doctor had lost. He had been cured by some healing property of the comrade's blade, in conjunction with something else he could not quite realize yet. In any case, the Doctor realized something now that he hadn't quite been able to before. Derik had to be helped. No man should live without control of themselves.

All of the attacks hit the kraken perfectly, leaving it badly damaged. It gave off an odd bird like scream of anger, and suddenly all of it's tentacles went up above its head. Then it began to swings them down, the huge mass of limbs certainly to crush everyone in the river, as well as cause a tsunami and an earthquake. Probably. In any case, it was a huge amount of tentacles. Fortunately, a huge blast of flames came from the banks, and dealt the final blow, incinerating the creature, and its ashes began to rain down on the group. Mes stood, Crystal Anlace pointed outwards. She dismissed it and shrugged. "Paralysis wore off, so I joined in." Her expression was casual, but it was pretty clearly a facade, hiding some pain caused but recently. Mes glanced back upon her memory once again.

She was dancing. She was very good at it. Lightning and flames, it was all very fanciful. But while she did so she experienced the intense passion of another past memory. The memories were intertwined, and the pain of both doubled it for the Mes of the present. The memory ended with her leaving the stage in tears. Mes glanced from Rexon to Auron to Drax, as if expecting them to do something. "Well? Are we going?"

(OH GOODNESS FORMATTING ERRORS BEYOND PROCEED AT OWN RISK)

Mes took dance lessons in Dawnbreak City from about 6 years old to 10 years old. During this time, she became quite adept at ballet, as shown in her dance scene. Little Mes also greatly admired her teacher, a mysterious woman with lush, long violet hair. She desired to be called Madame Orem, which young Mes of course did. Orem was not a particularly strange last name, and when Mes commented that they had the same last name, Madame Orem only laughed it off. This period in Mes' life quickly turned poor shortly after her 10th birthday. Mes had been shrinking into her bitter and harsh shell. In hopes that she could maybe prevent this little girl from becoming so withdrawn and miserable, Madame Orem told Mes that she would adopt her. Mes was clearly incredibly excited. However, it was not to be. The orphanage would not permit Madame Orem's paperwork to go through. There was nothing the innocent teacher could do. But Mes did not see it that way. She called the ballet dancer a liar, a scumbag like all the rest. Mes never went back to ballet.

Kyle-

"Oh well.. things gets more and more complicated." Kyle muttered as they were guided to their rooms. It were nice, all decorations were red of course, in various kinds of red in fact. HE finally had time to think about it... about his recent memory....

"Just.. who I´m suposse to be?.... " he muttered as he looked to the ceiling above him.

Auron-

"Phew... finally" Auron muttered as he reached the side of the river taking seat on the floor. Finally safe, at least for now, he allowed the memory to reach him...

It was a vision, the city he came from.., Shibuya. People walking across the streets, many noise and musiccoming from shops and buildings, a normal day in the district. Except for him and his friends fighting in order to survive. The goal of the mission was clear now: In order to gain the game, and in fact a second chance to live again, they would need to defeat the game master and reach certain quiantity of points. The highest score would win and choose what he or she desires. Of course Auron´s wish was to live again and, in order to do so he needed help.. of his partner; Joshua, and his friends, Brosnhu, Sayo, Wolf and Destiny; finally all his faces revealed once for all.. and then.... a shadow.. black wings, strange symbols... the Reapers... Isaac, Diasor and...

"Akane".. Auron said as he realized he was back again in the river. Alongside Mes, Rexon and Drax. Back to his reality for now.. "Ahem.. sorry.. well for now I don´t know.... should we help the Doc and Derik? or..."

Reiner and Akane-

"Nice done Kinzoku!" Reiner shouted as he reached the stairs to the balcony. With a look of fascination Akane simply put again her finger on her lips, taking seat on the rail, making a confident face on her.

"Nicely done people! I almost can say you have played the Reaper´s Game before. I just CAN´T wait to see your performance! Teeheheh..." Akane said as she started to walk towards the big door. Suddenly she turned around looking at the group one more time.

"Oh by the way.. did I mentioned that you need to kill the noises at the same time in both chambers? No? Oopsie.. I forgot about it. Lateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!"

"Oh you´re not gonna escape!" Reiner shouted as he charged a Fire spell launching it at Akane, However it simply was blocked by a Noise symbol close to Akane´s face.

"Heheheh ... Don´t get cocky... this is just the beginning.. there´s plenty of time to play." She finished as she vanished into the shadows in the room, leaving the group behind.

"Damn.. she just blocked it ... so easily... " Reiner thought for a moment then turned to the rest. "What should we do now?"

{Dom}

"Wrinkle number one." Dom muttered under her breath.

She hated being toyed with. The sooner someone smashed Akane's pretentious face in, the happier she would be. As she noted before, she felt more focused and alive with this anger coercing through her. Was this normal?

"We do what we have to." She answered Reiner. "We split up. Buddy up and pick a door, people."
