star wars has already happened in KH

Posted

i mean we already have had great moments form star wars, we have had the "i'm your father" moment with vantius, we have had a couple of duals with sith being xemnas and young xehanort, we have had space travel and the dearth star being that final mission in kh2 with that thing thats shoots a massive beam unless we shoot its core and xehanort is the old do who doubles as the sith. so idk if it'll be in 3.

xemnas' ethereal blades do look an awful lot like lightsabers

see...

The sudden outrage against Pixar and Star Wars continues to confuse me. In a series like Kingdom Hearts, which brings in every relevant Disney movie they possibly can into the mix with no real boundaries, I fail to see how either of those two properties would make that much of a difference. Frankly, I find Pirates more out of place than Star Wars, and I still enjoy the Port Royal world.

And yeah, KH has already been taking some obvious inspiration from Star Wars since day 1.

Instead of sitting arguing on why it should or shouldn't might as well just wait til the games out.  But far as I know, Square Enix owns the exclusive right to make Star Wars game (they made a deal with Disney where Disney can only make casual star wars games like mobile and tablet games).

They looked too much like light sabers. The first time I saw them, I literally thought that's they were. I was on verge of losing it.( I DO NOT want SW in KH3)

Well Kingdom Hearts isn't a Star Wars game, though. I'm not an expert on licensing or anything, but I'm fairly certain if Disney decides, they could allow Square to implement a Star Wars world if they wanted to.

But I agree, there's no sense arguing about it. I'm simply dumbfounded by the anger at something that hasn't even been announced or alluded to.

Take this for example. On the verge of losing it? Are you kidding? I hope you're exaggerating, because that is an incredibly irrational response to something that isn't even that big a deal.

What if they were lightsabers? Would you have quit the series?

A lot of what happened in Birth By Sleep can be compared to Star Wars III.

Nope, EA owns the exclusive rights for anything to do with Star Wars on a PC or console, which includes a Star Wars themed world.  If they wanted to use it at Square, Disney would have to buy out the contract.  Disney only has the right to  "develop new titles within the mobile, social, tablet and online game categories" concerning Star Wars, and for the sake of a single world where there's a multitude of other Disney Movies and Pixar movies they already have the rights to, I doubt they would foot the bill because a percentage of the KH audience would like it when, whether it's in it or not the fans will buy the game regardless of the world's presence.  Even if they did want to buy the rights just for a small part in KH, EA likes to be the monopoly on franchises so you are forced to get their games so I can't really see them licensing the use of Star Wars based characters and worlds without a big lump sum.

I know, just these type of topics ALWAYS bring arguments around

It'd be a great addition

It'd ruin the series

It'd be so cool to fight in space

We've already down that in Deep Space

Imagine a light saber keyblade!

We pretty much have one similar enough in Space Paranoids (pretty much a glowing keyblade) && Xemnas's ethereal blades are pretty similar

Imagine a final battle on the Death Star

It doesn't interest me

Imagine the power Sora would have with the Force!

There's already superior powers in KH (Friendship is basically the Force)/Don't want Sora relying on that

It'd fit in nicely

They're too similar(Chosen One/LightVDark/EtheralBladesLightSabers/etc)

But most importantly

I like Stars Wars VS I don't like Star Wars

[colour coding cause I'm cool like that]

Ah I hate EA.

They do to a certain point. Although you might want to take in account, the lack of the hilt. :P

Terra was Anakin, the main difference being Terra didn't want to become Darth Vader at the end whereas Anakin chose it

yep and the droids are donald and goofy xD and luke is sora It all fits!!!! :P

Star Wars would be one of the best or worst things to happen to Kingdom Hearts

i mean we already have had great moments form star wars, we have had the "i'm your father" moment with vantius,

Or what about Braig with I'm already half-xehanort.

If Starwars would be in Kingdom Hearts it would break the rights of Xemnas.

It may be in after KH3.
