The second half of the Xehanort saga has hyped up Sora saving Aqua,Ventus, Terra, Xion, Namine, and Roxas, since he is the guy who is connected to all those people who needs to be saved. But the basic plot of KH3 is Sora, Donald and Goofy looking for the key to return hearts, while Riku and King Mickey look for the previous keyblade wielders. Sounds like to me that Riku and King Mickey are looking for Terra, Ventus, and Aqua, it looks like that Riku will save him and not Sora.

Well Sora kind of has to help save Ventus since Ven's heart is inside Sora.  In doing so I could see Sora also releasing Roxas and Xion somehow other than Sora having to stab himself again.

yea I have a theory that the Key to return hearts is a keyblade that is the opposite of the dark keyblade that was shown in KH1.

Odds are its Lea. Lea can still use the Corridor of Darkness, which is the only way to get in and out of the Realm of Darkness.

Good point. Then again, he did lose his heart (and probably came back), so he probably also has a nobody that most likely developed a heart. His nobody can help Pence.

This would make for an excellent side quest:The Adventures of Pence and that NPC who stood by the 3rd District Door and ran the Accessory Shop in Traverse Town despite losing his heart (Working Title in Progress)

May I ask, where did all the hype for Pence come from? I mean isn't he just the stereotypical chubby but warmhearted best friend type who is mandatory in any group of kids?

Pence is the unsung hero

Aqua must be saved by Sora or the whole conversation with Ansem is pointless.

King Mickey and Riku may find out where they are but saving them is Sora's job.
