I kind of love the irony in this considering Pixar used to be part of Lucasfilms before Steve Jobs invested in it.

Honestly,I dont know what to feel,Pixar really has only made one film thats considered to be bad, aside from that their track record hasnt been bad,I dont know what to expect, but I know it wont be awful.

Pixar was part of Lucasfilms? I never knew that... Still, I think that it's really weird to have them suddenly make a Star Wars movie. I think they're better off sticking with their own IPs.

I'm personally not a big fan of most of their movies. I'm just concerned because this is completely out of the blue for a company like Pixar to make a Star Wars movie.

That's just a rumor. And Latino-Review has been known to have an iffy track record when it comes to these things. I wouldn't get my hopes up... or my knickers in a twist... or whatever your reaction to this is.

Its Pixar, so 9 out of 10 it will be good enough to watch.

The thing I'm worried about here isn't Pixar themselves (Although I'm not a fan of their movies personally), it's that this is completely different from what they normally make.

I think they will do fine, its the same company that brought us  Toy Story,Monster Inc and the Incredibles

I'll watch all these new movies, but they won't be the same. We need The Clone Wars and the story between Episodes III and IV finished. And then you can tell stories from other parts of the timeline in video games, TV shows, comics etc. But I still don't think we need anymore movies.

Thank you for kicking my childhood pixar, as if the clone wars tv show didnt ruin star wars enough.....

Well in the end it all depends on who is in charge of the film, pixar is just a studio in the end,as long as you can get someone who is able to direct the film and know what to do with it,it should end up ok.

I feel like it will be something similar to The Clone Wars 2D and 3D animated series. Expect lots of action, great characters, but ridiculous plots.

I'm totally cool with it.  Seems like a great idea.

Think of it, "The Forced Unleashed" directed by M. Night Shamalan. Any takers? :D
