im a guy who is known for his morals. but ever scince i played gta i feel like they hae gone away. i feel horrible about this. im not willing to let go of my morals but how can i say that when i was shooting civilians in gta? i regret it. i dont want to lose my morals. do you guys think there is a way to get them back? or do you think i just think im losing my morals? in any way, i want to be that moral guy that wouldent hurt anything innocent. i want my morrals. im sorry im sharing my problems again on this site. how do i get my moralls back? ahhhh!

Uh...the fact that you regret shooting fake people in a videogame means you hold morals to a pretty high standard, anyway. So, you never lost them. This is pretty basic philosophical stuff. Also logic.

You do anything BUT shooting zombies. I think only three times the entire game do you get to shoot zombies and those parts are only a few seconds long. It's mainly about the characters, and is a fantastic game.

But, seriously, it's just a video game. As long as you don't let it influence how you behave in real life, you're fine. If you can't handle keeping the two separate, then it's best you stay away from violent video games. It's different for everyone so I can't tell you what choice to make.

I fail to see how shooting people in a game is making you immoral?? Games don't translate to real life. In games I kill people all the time, actually laugh while I do it. But IRL I can't even squish a spider. Your morals don't translate to video games, so it really doesn't matter what you do in them.

Dude. It's a video game. Nobody actually died. Just as long as you don't let this game affect your view of life and you don't ever do any of that stuff in real life, you and your morals are good. You're just taking this WAAAAAAY too seriously.

Its just a video game try to relax you already seem like an awesome person to me!

 

don't worry about it man like everyone's been saying it's like reading a book or watching a movie. It's just a story remember that you're just playing through a story that someone's made up in their mind your morals are fine.

You don't need to worry about anything . I've played most of the games of the Grand Theft Auto series and I am still a "good" guy .
