Yellow Flash's Art Academy Sketchbook (Wii U Version)

Posted

So... Yeah. I just started using Art Academy on the Wii U. I've only made one drawing so far, and I don't know if these will be regular updates. I'm not a really good artist, but I want to get to be at least decent soon! I'll post my drawings on here if anyone's interested. First up is everyone's favorite pink marshmallow, Kirby!

For the next drawing, I'm thinking of making it a Yoshi Egg. I'm going with simple stuff for now...

Really? ._. It might be because it's an easier character to draw... If I tried something a bit more realistic, or a human, it probably wouldn't turn out very well. ._. This was mostly a test drawing.

I could only barely draw inanimate objects, and not realistically.

Seriously? Your drawings now are so good, though. ._. I guess everyone starts off kinda slow, then...

Well... you can start with basic shapes, if you are interested usually mushrooms, boos and star powerwork very well...

I could probably do those, too. I'm hoping to move on to some more difficult drawings soon though, I'm just not sure what all to do. ._.

I felt the same when I began to draw... I still keep one of my first drawings as my remind that I also started from below. But if you want my suggestion, you can begin with trying to draw images of people and objects, it´s valid as long as you don´t copy over the image... (Sorry lack of vocabulary... how can I say it? :S) try to find easy drawings and begin to analize the components of the drawing, better said the body. Anatomy exist in the drawings, in deviantart there ase some tutorials for the anatomy rules, as well as posing with practice you can do some wonderful things:

This is basically what you have, plus you can use pictures of people and analyze the anatomy and get some cool poses. KEep the good work and you can improve trust me.

I have this but I never find the time to use it...

You should draw LUCAS AND NESS when you get the chance. They're pretty easy to draw, especially with those bead eyes like Kirby.

Not bad.

Thanks!

I have this but I never find the time to use it...

I've had it for a few days, but I didn't try it out until just yesterday. xD

I was actually thinking about trying them for my first human drawings, they seem like easy ideas.

Thanks for the tips! I'll look at those when I have time. :D

I've had it for months, tried it out for like 30 seconds on the day I bought it.
