Ah, yes, Soul Eater. If it wasn't obvious enough already, I love this series to death. I watched the anime around Summer 2013, and I've been reading the manga recently. Upon reading the manga, I've really noticed how drastically they changed the series for the anime adaptation. I love the manga's own take on the series, and it's a shame it got left behind. So, why am I telling you all this? Simple: I think that Soul Eater's anime deserves a redo, similar to Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. No filler, no splitting off from the manga, just the pure, unchanged content from the manga. I think it would be amazing seeing the real story be animated personally, since the story's much deeper. What do you all think? Should this be done?

Edit: I'd actually personally rather see a new season of soul eater cause the manga went on after the anime ended. That would be awesome

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!! DEFINITELY. I read the entire manga, and it was 20 times better than the original Anime(although that was still good) AND IT NEEDS A BROTHERHOOD SECOND ANIME FOR IT. If SE's NOT anime gets popular enough, BONES might consider it. I would love that, it DEFINITELY NEEDS IT. Besides, we know eventually they'll do it, its only a matter of time.

i agree, although as far as I know (I haven't read the mangas, so don't take my word for it), the fullmetal alchemist anime and fullmetal alchemist manga had a lot more differences than the soul eater anime and the soul eater manga. Don't take my word for it though

If you liked the anime, I'd definitely recommend reading the manga. I won't spoil anything, but after the battle for Brew, it becomes totally different (The Baba Yaga Castle infiltration is somewhat similar, but it has a lot more to the story after that arc, where the anime just dropped it right there)

Just google "Read Soul Eater Manga" if you want to read it online, otherwise you could buy the volumes online or see if a library has them. Just be careful if you're getting them from a library, I've had a few with scribbled out panels/torn out pages.

I've already finished the manga, so I'm actually a bit indifferent, but I think it would be cool to have a second series, if they find time for that.

Actually, now that I think about it... Tezca animated, (spoiler) and (spoiler) too... Yep, we need this.

I'll have to give the manga a read, I'd read it online but there's something about hard copies with me I've lost so much money but I've got quite a sizable collection now plus I like looking at the full set once I'm finished

A new version of the soul eater anime would be pretty cool, i might even end up checking it out lol (i always rather enjoyed that show anyways )

Of course, then there's the Soul Eater Not! anime that's coming June 1st(From what I've heard, anyways). So if we do get a new Soul Eater anime, it'll most likely start development soon after Not! is released.
