Hating a series because it's too popular is just ignorance. Hating a series because you think it sucks and don't understand WHY it's so popular is a completely different thing.

Naruto: Because watching people have their eyes ripped out or their heads slashed off is totally for 10 year olds.

On topic, I totally agree with you on this one. People who are jerks because they disagree with someone piss me off to no end, man. :/

This also apply to so many other things....not just anime

But on the other side, there are some of those assholes that will shit on your favorite anime because it isn't as popular as their favorites

And another thing: is this obscure series somehow gets popular, then what then? What if it blows up like Toriko or Fairy Tail did? Does it suck then?! With all the other MAINSTREAM series?!

That is one the stupidest mentalities one can have.

I for example didn't like Naruto, One Piece and Bleach, and I never gave them a chance.

I tried them all, and you can guess which one I like the most xD

You shouldn't judge an anime/manga without trying it out.

I can say that I don't enjoy One Piece and Bleach, I tried watching and reading them before, and it doesn't tickle my fancy.
