Abilties and typing stay the same. (Awe no Dragon/Fairy)
 
Wow. MegaLatios is going to wreck, seeing as it can go mixed and finally make use of Dragon Dance. (Salemence 2.0, calling it!) Despite of the defense upgrade, I still think physical SE moves will still OHKO, but the number of Pokemon that can certainly went down and will need SR support. I can see MLatias being dealt the same way as before too, but she can make use of bulky sweeping sets more easier than before. Not sure about her being mixed, as for one MLatios would outclass her in that aspect and unlike him, she has no access to DD and 100 base attack is meh. For both, they don't suffer losing recovery options like the other megas because they have access to Roost/Recover. Really hyped to try these out in OU. My Sub Latias makes a return!
 
For the lulz, people are already sounding stupid saying "Smogon is going to ban them before they are released." More idiotic when Smogon said after stating the info: "How powerful do you think Mega Latias and Latios will be? Which do you think will be more powerful? How usable will they be in OU and Ubers?" Not sure how than translates to insta ban to ubers. Hahaha!

Second though, the device existed since December, except now it works to back up XY saves. (Cloning available? Oh yeah!) Anyways this is about the Lati twins, I don't want to see it go off topic about the hacking device.

It never did before, so it won't. In other words, this has happened a couple of times, but TCP doesn't care. At most they keep unreleased stuff unusable online till they officially release it.

I feel bad for GameFreak.

First XY was released early on so most of the information was out before the game officially releases.

Then someone figured out how to hack 3DS games, and then this happened.

 

Poor GameFreak.
