I've been seeing a lot of posts lately(especially with one of the last polls Lu Xun made) from people here and on other KH forums that they bought systems like PSP,DS....etc just to play the Kingdom Hearts game that got released on the system and nothing else

 

Heck recently I met some people that bought a Ps3 just to play the 1.5 and 2.5 HD collections only and some others that said they felt cheated that games like Birth by Sleep and Re:Coded among others got included in the collections and that they wouldn't have got a PSP or a DS if they knew such collections were coming

 

 

Personally,I can never understand the idea behind that logic

 

Who in their right mind buys a system just to play one....ONE video game on it,and then put that system aside never to be used again

 

That would be a waste of money if you got a system just to buy one game on it and nothing else

 

 

I got a PSP before I even knew about Birth by Sleep's existence and I'm glad I did

 

the Playstation Portable is an awesome handhelds with tons of RPG's like Crisis Core FFVII,Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness,Jeanne Darc,Persona......and tons of other games that I've enjoyed

 

 

Granted I can understand the people who don't have enough money to try other games....that's fine I'm not forcing you at all

 

I'm talking about that group of people that limits themselves to just the series they follow(similar to the Naruto,One Piece and Bleach fandoms) and either ignore or shit on anything else that isn't their favorite series.

 

If you want to buy a system,make sure you'll get the most out of it and try whatever you can....don't just buy a system for one game and then when that one game gets included in a collection you start regretting your decision

Actually I did. I bought a PSP and 3DS only to play BbS and DDD. However thanks to friends and curiosity, I ended up getting other games for these systems that I enjoy x'D

Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance were both my initial reasons for wanting a PSP and 3DS, but I obviously found some other games I wanted on each system, as well. KHIII is my main reason for wanting a PS4, but there's one or two other games I want on the system, and it will probably get a lot more interesting games later on in its lifespan.

 

(Also, that Naruto/One Piece/Bleach comparison's a bit unfair. I love Naruto, but I've watched a lot of other anime, too.)

Yes and that would be the ps4 for kh3.

I originally bought a PS2 for Secret Agent Clank ,but I didn't like it so I later remembered I always wanted to play Kingdom Hearts and sold SAC and bought KH

I purchased a 3DS for Pokemon X/Y. But there were other games I was looking forward to such as KH3D, Fire Emblem, Zelda, Bravely Default. I will buy a PS4 for FFXV, but there would be others I would play such as Infamous SS, the Order, etc.

 

Having a personal system seller to you is normal but only ever playing one game on it is a bit strange.

God no. The only way I would have purchased a PSP would be if the Birth by Sleep bundle was released outside of North America.

i bought a 3DS primarily to play DDD, but I also purchased 358/2 Days and played it before DDD because my friends said that I should've so yeah. the only other game i have on my 3DS is pokemon Y, however I've been so lazy to get any farther in it that I haven't played it in months now ldfnjkfds

I meant in terms of the fanbases,some people only watch the anime they're following and nothing else

 

believe me I found some One Piece fans who'll go backshit insane if you told them to watch Naruto or something else

 

The comparison doesn't apply to everyone mind you,but those three fanbases in particular has the most amount of this kind of people
