At the start of LIGHTNING RETURNS, Hope basically say it's impossible to save all the souls in one playthrough. I proved this to be false information. You can complete all five main quests and 62/64 side quests before day 10. As for the other two, one has to be failed in order to unlock another one and the other side quest requires every single Last One to be eliminated. There's enough time to complete all five main quests, 63/64 side quests and every single Canvas of Prayers quest.

A lot of people are liars.

It's a video game and he's suppsed to help you. And what's your point?

Because a video game character, or any person in existence, has never been proven wrong before. Ever.

Maybe it's a trick and it would make one think of not gathering all the souls when playing this game. But, there are other that would want to try and see if they CAN complete ever single mission, putting aside of what he says.

So if one side quest is unlocked by failing, Hope isn't a liar

You cannot save every person's soul in one play through, just almost every person's soul

Stil have that 164 lol.

Square enix probaly thought that  it's impossible to save all the souls in one playthrough.

fool of course he lied cause that was not hope at all it was the god the whole time

As stated above, video game characters are not only to be correct. Even when they help you, can be proved wrong and deemed liars. That being said, 63/64 is all the souls possible to collect in one play through, but is not all the souls. He wasn't lying, but it was a different context than you saw it as

He still wasn't a liar, he told the true, you can't save every soul in the first playthrough, because of the Last One sidequest, plus remember who he truly was and what his plan was, if the plan would had work, then Lightning wouldn't have been able to save all the souls. So He wasn't lying, He was telling the truth, since even if you do the best you can with the time, you still cannot save all the souls in a single playthrough because of the Last One sidequest, and the journal one.

Or maybe he just thought that not all the souls could be saved.

The side quest you have to fail to unlock another one is for the exact same soul. You still save every soul.

You still can't save the soul of the Last One sidequest, so Hope was still right, even if it is by one soul, Hope's statement is reality.

Why can't you save that soul?

Why can't you save that soul?

Because some enemies that most be exterminated only appear on the Last Day, so the soul can only be save in New Game +.

That still counts as the one playthrough since Last Ones don't carry over into New Game+.
