Posted March 2, 201411 yr What do you want the most? I want there to be the same verticality as the trailer and no Lightning or Hope-esque characters aka unrealatable Try-Hard chick and useless crybaby wimp
March 2, 201411 yr I want them to cut the firetrucking mello drama out.. How many depressing/overly dramatic FF games have to come out?
March 2, 201411 yr Pure Awesomeness. XV should the new paragon of all FF games. I want SE to go all out. Like greater than VII. Stunning.
March 2, 201411 yr I want to enjoy it- after all these years of waiting I hope this game can meet my expectations or even surpass them
March 2, 201411 yr A good solid RPG. Good Gameplay with strong RPG ties. Im sure Story and music will be fine. Hopefully the characters are great, and not as boring as in XIII.
March 2, 201411 yr I'm not getting the game, but if I had to say something I'd like to see, it would be for them to not fall in the same character design trap that they've been in since VII. In other words, the main character who hates everything and avoids any social interaction (Cloud, Squall), the girl who tries to break him out of that (Tifa, Rinoa), the overhyper guy (Zell, Vaan), etc. I want some originality for once, and the characters to not be boring people who I don't care for. When they try to force "Oh this person's had a lot of problems, you should feel bad for them" on the player, it gets really, REALLY annoying.

The characters are amazing in XIII. Anyway, I haven't seen Square Enix put out a bad FINAL FANTASY game this century, it'll stay that way.
March 2, 201411 yr I want it to be even better than FFX, which is my favorite game of all time. Though judging from the trailers, I don't think I'll like it as much since the setting is so realistic. It's called Final Fantasy for a reason goddammit.

Cloud was really only like that in the first parts of FFVII and in Advent Children. I guess once you get later in the game you might like him more. "This is a FANTASY based on reality". It's gonna be the best game Square Enix has ever made! There are people in Japan complaining how the setting is too japanese, you know there's a problem when that is the case. The main reason I liked FFX's settings is because they felt unique, like something I couldn't ever experience in real life.

March 2, 201411 yr When they say it's too japanese they mean like the cars and the overpasses and stuff. The setting does take inspiration from different locations but it's still not anything mindblowing.

March 3, 201411 yr When they say it's too japanese they mean like the cars and the overpasses and stuff. The setting does take inspiration from different locations but it's still not anything mindblowing.Obviously this is just something they are trying. It is based on reality. Although the game also takes place outside cities, there will be a lot more too the game then just skyscrapers.
March 3, 201411 yr To be truly FINAL fantasy, and not to have FFXXXVIII or XV-9001.And to square to create another series, but that comes with ending ff as series. And ofc not to make me do this to Square Enix: A good solid RPG. Good Gameplay with strong RPG ties. Im hope Story will be fine and we won't get XV-9001 and music...well at least now there is no nouo umetsu in this game. Hopefully the characters are great, and not as boring as in XIII. Fix'd it for a bit.And aside from what I typed up and from the fixes, this. Cloud was really only like that in the first parts of FFVII and in Advent Children. I think you confuse with squall...cloud was much more annoying after the first parts, IMO.
