March 10, 201411 yr Author Aren't they continuing it on Netflix though?"The Lost Missions" I believe? They released those final 13 episodes the other day, and Darth Maul isn't even mentioned in them.

March 10, 201411 yr Thanks to Disney, Darth Maul is still alive and we may never find out what happens to him before Episode III. I always thought it was a real shame that I never wound up watching the entire series through. After season 3, maybe up until the episode where Maul was revealed to be alive, I just dropped it for no reason. I've seen a few tidbits of the later episodes here and there online, and from what I can gather, things really start getting serious in the last season or so. Still can't say if I approve of bringing Maul back, but it definitely looked like they had something big planned for him. For shame.
March 10, 201411 yr It's not that hard to read up on Darth Maul's character in the expanded universe. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Maul Edit: It should be pointed out that I have no idea what happened in The Clone Wars series from pass where his brother (?) was in it. I believe Luke Skywalker ended him in the expanded universe. Or some form of him any ways. Edited March 10, 201411 yr by KHSoraKeyBlade
March 10, 201411 yr Wait, so according to Clone Wars, Darth Maul survived? The heck, the guy was clearly dead at the end of Episode I.

March 10, 201411 yr Not only was he alive, he teamed up with his evil brother and took over a gang of Boba Fetts ... Well then. ._.
March 10, 201411 yr I remember that show being so awesome when it first came out. Of course, I was like fourteen and really into Star Wars then. Shame they cancelled it.
March 10, 201411 yr I'm just starting this show on Netflix, after re-watching the movie. It makes me mad that there isn't a proper ending, but I stillwwant to watch it. Darth Maul is like my favorite Star Wars character & I want to see him come back. This show deserves a proper ending, WHY DISNEY?!??!?!??
March 10, 201411 yr ... Well then. ._.Obi-Wan had a re-match with him though, so that was kinda cool even if it wasn't canon! ^^

March 10, 201411 yr This is nothing compared to what they did to Spectacular Spider-Man.Other points aside, this series started with Anakin getting Ahsoka, and it should have ended when he lost her. Everything else wasn't really necessary. Can't wait to check out Star Wars Rebels later this year though.
March 10, 201411 yr I suppose that's cool, I still prefer the movie canon though. Well of course- that's the highest and only form of canon I care aboutNothing beats Liam Neeson and Samuel L. Jackson

March 10, 201411 yr Actually, Lucas said that The Clone Wars TV series was as cannon as the movies. So, yeah... Er... Is there any proof? I only consider the movies to be canon, unless I can see proof otherwise. Either way, I'm not going to watch Clone Wars. I could barely watch it back when it first aired as a kid who loved ANYTHING Star Wars, so I doubt I'd be able to watch it now.

March 10, 201411 yr No Lutz- George Lucas lost future credibility when he demanded more Jar-Jar in the Clone Wars Lol even though that mostly true, you can at least take it out on J.J.Binks during his secret boss fight in KH3. Er... Is there any proof? I only consider the movies to be canon, unless I can see proof otherwise. Either way, I'm not going to watch Clone Wars. I could barely watch it back when it first aired as a kid who loved ANYTHING Star Wars, so I doubt I'd be able to watch it now. Here's the whole canon system here.By no means does this mean you should watch the show though, since it could be over-ruled by a future film.

According to that source you just linked, it's not as canon as the movies. It says that Clone Wars is a level below the movies, not the same.
March 10, 201411 yr According to that source you just linked, it's not as canon as the movies. It says that Clone Wars is a level below the movies, not the same. As long as a TV show doesn't contradict anything from the films or Lucas, it is considered canon. It's not set in stone, but it holds more weight than the novels, video games, etc., but it is inconsequential. It's not like Episode VII is going to reference Ahsoka or the details of The Clone Wars anyway.

It might be more important than the other sources, but the movies are still above it. That's why I don't consider it canon.
