Yes, they were looking for Ventus' Chamber, but they never refer to Ventus by name, whihc mgiht mean that they are jsut looking for the chamber, but don't know about Ventus.

Well,in KH 358/2,when Roxas was uncouncious on his bed,Xemnas also said,"It looks like sleep has taken over you once more."I think he said that because he looked identical to Ven and Ven had fallen into a sleep.

It was uneccessary at the time to mention Ventus and up to that point, and it didn't relate to Sora for the matter, they probably figured that Sora would know nothing about the chamber and focused more on their plans as using him to release hearts from the Heartless with the Keyblade, and the KH creator's probably did not want to dwell deeper into the storyline and begin to make it even more confusing than it already is.

They dont really they like have a new game where sora goes and finds ventus, like roxas went to find sora. It may give us a better explaination on things, i also got confused of what order the games go in. how annoying when you only have the new game days.

Thats right but the question here is when does xemnas knew about ventus ? or the champer ?

His conversations with Aqua's lingering sentiment in the Chamber of Repose of course.
