because like isa and lea, they will be human and they won't have their names anymore. nomura said that roxas and xion will return, but he used they're names because thats the only way we know them. they won't have the x's in they're names when they are brought back except maybe roxas because if you take the x out it will just be sora and then all these problem will ares and so many thing wil happen an*ranbles*, but he can work around that. and it won't be axel, roxas, and xion anymore.

Roxas could be Saxor and Xion she doesn't have a real self so she'd be Xion

But Xion was a puppet of Sora's memories created by Vexen just like in KH:CoM where you have the replica riku. I'm guessing Xion may come back as her own person but I can't imagine if it's possible seeing how she was a puppet. Also Roxas is inside of Sora now so he's part of Sora so I'm guessing that if anyone like roxeas is back it may just be Ventus as Sora has Ven's heart inside him.

I'm not sure if I'm right with all that but I guess the chances of Roxas and Xion being back as themselves could be a slim chance. But who knows what Nomura will do..

No, im sure Roxas will still stay Roxas, as with Xion, since he's not only a part of Sora, it's shown that he could become his own person in KH3, as for Xion. They nobodies can grow their own hearts, and have their own memories, as shown over time. If they end up becoming human, they'd become seperate from Sora, and be their own person, not just a part of him. They could still have their old names, at least that's how i see it.

1.Xion was never a nobody so there was no point in changing her name back to something belonging to a human..

2. Roxas has Sora rambling around in the real world so he would just keep his name

3 why throw away a name you could keep? There's no point to change their names

Roxas and Xion will return as Roxas and Xion. They created their own identities over their time in the Organization and have no reason to change their names.

Ansem the Wise said that even a puppet had grown her own heart due to her connections with Sora. Xion was no longer a puppet by the end of Days. She was her own person and in doing so, she is now a viable candidate to return in KH3 with the help of Sora and Friends. Sora has stated directly to Roxas that he is his own person now and that he has a right to exist.

Hopefully they leave them out because they are awful characters. But since I know this is KH and no one stays gone in KH, I hope they actually make them more interesting in KH3. First step would be getting a good voice actor for Xion.
