Why no? I think that it may happen seeing that KH1 and KH2 were both only for ps2. And Sony did say that they plan to do more HD remakes like the god of war collection and sly series.

maybe it doesn't really have to be a remake, all they really have to do is tweek the graphics and repakage it for the ps3

I don't care about the HD part I just wanna play them on ps3 because I don't have backwards combatability. And I don't like my ps2 anymore because the power cord is messed up. I just think it'll be neat

That'd not only be stupid and pointless, but it would be a major, major waste of money.

 

KH clearly won't be getting uber-graphics anyway. If they wanted to have those graphics in KH, would have happened by now.

Nomura's team has already a lot on there minds. Kh BBS (English version) KH Re: Coded (Both Japanese and English) KH 3D (Both Japanese and English) plus the Final Fantasy games.

 

I don't really get, why they should make PlayStation 3 versions, both Kingdom Hearts And Kingdom Hearts 2 have very good quality. And most people doesn't care about quality, more about gameplay.

But it would make sense, since by then a lot of fans wouldn't have played KH1 or 2, and they need some way to know the plot.

It's better to leave all current games of the Kingdom Hearts series as it is. Remaking them would take away the time & effort that can be used to develop future Kingdom Hearts games. As for KH3, I believe it'll be released on the next-gen PSP platform.

Odds are if they did do it, it would be a promotion for KHIII, like how the HD remakes of God of War were for GoWIII

I just watched feedback on the G4 app and they said that a lot of people wanted ports on the ps3 of the kh games. So it might actually happen sometime before kh3 comes out as a promotion type thing

Square enix doesn't have two use up its time and talent to port kh1 and 2, they can just hire some other company to handle the port. like how bluepoint games were hired to do god of war collections

I honestly don't think there would be a point in remaking the games for the PS3. It'd be a waste of money and effort, and, let's face it, I just can't see anyone buying a game they already have for twice the price, just so they can play it on the PS3.

Knowing what SE are like with ports you could nearly bet your boots they'd do that just to hype up KH III because they're obsessed with hype. Hell they MIGHT (probably going to far, SE like to keep costs down) even translate the Final Mixes just to offer an incentive
