I became the most happiest person in the world... (spoilers ahead)

Posted

When i saw this:

I was so happy to see the Dream Eaters were going to help Sora (or least i think) on his mission to become a Keyblade Master.

But, i become more happier when i saw Ventus move. That was TOTAL proof he was coming back.

There are spoilers for a reason. Unless you haven't finished playing KH:3D, don't watch the video. For the sake of spoiling it for you.

so happy that you forgot to use proper english in the title. xD

but yeah i totally agree! that was one of the best moments of kh 3d!

Well , if the guys manage to save Aqua , Ventus will come back .

Well that scene wasn't about Sora trying again to become a master . It was about thanking the DE and to show he obtained the power of opening doors into the realm of sleep:

Incidentally, Ventus’ body is in Castle Oblivion and his heart is with Sora right?

Nomura: Right. Even though he only appears a little bit in the end of KH3D, when Sora was surrounded by Dream Eaters, you see that he smiled because of it.

— I see. Were there certain intentions in that scene with the Dream Eaters?

Nomura: That scene was added in the final stages of production. It wouldn’t feel right to have worked so hard raising the Dream Eaters without some sort of closure. Also, since Sora has obtained the power to open doors into the worlds of sleep, I purposely wanted to show a scene where he used that power.

Anyways he might try again for master in the future but it's not a pressing matter to him nor do i find it necessary since he at least has the power of a master.

Do you think by this Nomura means he is'nt going to incorporate dream eaters in Kingdom Hearts 3? it sounds like that to me.. I hope not tho. I want Donald and Goofy to help me out, but I'd love to see dream eaters playing in a cutscene or helping fight the last batlle or something.

Well, I think that Sora jus wanted to thank them properly like he still has to thank namine.

He returned to the realm of sleep to do so as traverse is still needed there.

Dream eaters are manifestations if dreams, duh, and therefore they won't return in future dreams unless the characters return to the realm of sleep.

That was closure?

Yeah, I loved that scene too, it was really heartwarming, and I loved the part when Ventus smiled, feeling the emotions of Sora and the Dream Eaters.  It definitely gave me the feels! :D

According to Nomura I guess

I guess that means it was.  Left something open IMO.
