April 24, 201411 yr Not usually, although I've been reading a lot of Batman comics lately. Edited April 24, 201411 yr by Kaweebo
April 24, 201411 yr Why would I when I can read manga? Not really. I prefer manga books over comic books. Nope. I preferred Manga, though I hardly read that now as it is. ...does Donal Duck count? I prefer manga. Manga has highly been used of English speaking people. I only read manga too!
April 24, 201411 yr Hmm. I used to read a lot of Archie comics and Calvin and Hobbes. Oh and a bunch of Disney ones. I think I've only read 1 Batman comic book though. Plus I never started reading manga until last summer so....*shrugs*
April 25, 201411 yr I used to be interested in Spider Man, but I never read much of it. : I don't read comics these days. I'm not too interested in the "Super hero saves the day, horray" plot, I prefer deeper storylines and stuff like Naruto.
April 25, 201411 yr DC up to 2003 - Impulse* and Young Justice** are among the funniest things I've read in a very long time. To a lesser extent, post-Infinite Crisis was...alright, but I can certainly see why people rapidly dropped out with the myriad awful creative decisions taken. My focus was anything Flash-related, but Flashpoint and the New 52 made me drop it altogether. Marvel doesn't interest me at all. *Impulse!Bart is the funniest fictional character of all time tbh; I heard they ruined him beyond recognition in Nu52... *but not the TV show, f*** that, that was just Teen Titans under the most convenient unused name.
Do you or have you ever read any American comic books?
