May 7, 201411 yr my PS2 slim used to had the problem of not reading some games but others work just fine. becouse they are dirt cheap, i got another one.

May 7, 201411 yr I used to have the same problem. It usually means you have to buy another model. What happens is your AC Adapter is getting to old and hot, which is causing problems to the system itself. Buying a new cord won't work. I'm sorry.

May 7, 201411 yr Fool. Mine sometimes won't read discs at all. One of the latches inside it is kind of broken, so it doesn't think it's closed sometimes when it is.
