Has anyone else have a PS2 with this problem?

Posted

It's a slim model, and for some reason ever since a couple years back it turns off at random. It may just be the AC adapter but its getting really f*cking annoying.

Huh, mine's just started doing that, even though I bought it in brand new condition not even a year ago. I rarely touch it too...

i have two ps2's one for my house one is my dads at his house and they work just fine

my PS2 slim used to had the problem of not reading some games but others work just fine. becouse they are dirt cheap, i got another one.

I have the slim model at my mother's house and I always unplug it when I'm done with it.

I just hope it's still in one piece though... >,.,>

I used to have the same problem. It usually means you have to buy another model. What happens is your AC Adapter is getting to old and hot, which is causing problems to the system itself. Buying a new cord won't work. I'm sorry. :(

aw shiet. Thanks tho.

Fool. Mine sometimes won't read discs at all. One of the latches inside it is kind of broken, so it doesn't think it's closed sometimes when it is.

My PS2 Slim's been running fine since 2006.

Thank god no. That would be super annoying...

My both controllers have issues though. -.-

My PS2's the Silver Fat version, and it's gonna turn 10 years old in September, and I've never had that problem before owo

Never really had any problem with it at all xD
