They were the games the got me hooked into the series as well, and I can't wait for the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!!!

I really liked Gen IV. Diamond was great and I think I enjoyed the game more because a lot of my friends still played Pokemon at the time.

Gen IV was home to quite a number of my favourite Pokemon and I liked a few of the evolutions they brought in for some of the older Pokemon. The games probably had some of the best legendaries too, there might have been way too many for some but I love Darkrai and Arceus.

My only regret I had was picking up Platinum. I bought it based on how much fun Diamond was and to be fair, it did a bunch of cool things and tried to be somewhat different to Diamond/Pearl but I suffered fatigue from the Sinnoh region which is odd given how much time I spent on Diamond. I loved the UI in battle on Platinum though, probably one of the cleaner looking ones. Giritina's Origin Forme was amazing too.

I enjoyed Gen IV for what it was, though I doubt we'll be seeing a remake in 2 years when Diamond and Pearl hit their 10th Anniversary.... woah I feel old..

They'd do a remake for the next Nintendo handheld. That's how they usually do it.

Gen IV is my favorite,Pokemon Platinum is my favorite PKMN game so far and I spent countless hours playing Diamond and Platinum

I really like this Gen. Pokémon Diamond was my very first DS game, so I played it a lot back then.
